maybe I’m going to watch TFP for the second time. It feels like today is a good day to say goodbye and let go.
this episode is so boring. On top of everything that has been said about this episode in the last couple of days, for me, the main problem is that they get every emotional beat wrong. Because they refused to make it about John and Sherlock (and try to make the audience care for Mycroft and Eurus instead), this episode just lacks a soul. And in the end Mary takes over the episode’s dead body.
Yes. They go so far out of the way to de-romanticize their relationship that the story has no heart.

MARK MY GUY YOU LITERALLY HAD THE OPPORTUNITY TO DO THIS EXACTLY AND YOU JUST DIDN’T?
instead he deliberately played with homoerotic subtext/text and made it into something for homophobes to laugh at. he talks about achieving equality when he is literally part of the problem keeping us from that

(Eyewitness) is a thriller but the protagonists are gay characters and that’s never been done in TV; how does it feel to be a part of that?
The wtf moment when you read that Sue Vertue cries every time she sees Mary's death on screen and alternate reality theories feel so true.
OMG if that awfully fake scene makes Sue cry, I start to understand why she thought series 4 was the best yet.

a step-by-step on how to fill out the form when registering a complaint in the official BBC complaints page. if you don’t live in the UK, choose england anyway, because that’s the only way the option to choose “bbc one” will appear. use “0000” for your post code.
guys. please, please do this. complain about the queerbaiting, complain about the number of lgbt villains and lack of lgbt heroes, complain about the misogyny. if you can, give examples (like the “i love you” trailer or the “sherlock’s in love” tweet). don’t rant, just try to make your point very clearly and let them know how much this has affected to you. help stop this from happening again. make sure mofftiss get presented with a huge pile of complaints and asked to explain themselves.
