Finally, a book that got me out of my four-star slump! Seriously - I was starting to think that I would rate every book til the end of the year less than five stars. I just couldn't seem to get excited over anything since early October. This book threw me off a little bit and it's probably because I'm used to the author having something way, way dramatic taking place in her book and it just didn't happen like that in this book. This book was a little different. Skylar and Eagle were the perfect couple, they both had their perspective issues but they just fit!!

This is a hard book for me to rate - while I thought the writing was good, the plot was there, and the banter was spot on...the book is basically about cheating. That did rub me the wrong way. It's not a secret that the heroine, Kenzie cheats with the hero while he's engaged. It's seriously a point of contention for me, but there is a reason that he's engaged. There's that trope in there and if you can stand to read it, then I urge you too because it's actually a pretty good storyline. I just didn't like the way it was handled. Just know going in that there are some things that could potentially make you uncomfortable in the issue department.

I release her, walking away from her as fast as my feet will carry me. I throw the doors open with Reese on my heels. Candy stands at the entrance with another man, but I don’t care. I have to show Reese who I am.
“Walker. Stop, please,” Reese calls behinds me. I hurry past Riley and Ava with a shake of my head, but I’m brought up short when Thayer steps in my way.
“Walker, stay.”
Her words ring in my ears. Bile rises in my throat. “I can’t. Won’t.” I step around her, taking Candy by the hand. The smirk on her face tells me who she’s looking at. “Don’t you fucking dare, Candy,” I growl at her and help her out the door.

Walker had to be my favorite out of all of the books. If you go back and read the first book and then read this book, you'll see how much the author has grown and developed along the way. The characters were well written and they weren't forced...they flowed on paper. I didn't drift or want to read ahead or skip, which is a good thing! When I start skipping it's time to get up and do something else lol

This is a definite recommend from me. I love books with strong women and this had it. Sweet Southern Satisfaction is the second installment of the Georgia Peaches series. While you don't have to read the first book to read this one...why wouldn't you? It's a great one!! This book has a sexy guy and a smart tailed woman who can give as good as she gets - so if you like that kind of book then you'll love this. I'm just over here waiting for the third book....twiddling my thumbs

This was a good book, it had some moments where it lulled, but otherwise it had a solid storyline.  It reminded of a lot of the popular tropes that are being done nowadays. If you like the author and books with lots of tension, then you'll love this book.
