Inspire Me
Do you have a board on Pinterest for favorite places, books, shoes, manicures, heck even cute animals? Does it inspire you?

Castles, Ghosts and a hound with 3 Heads
I’m moving to the final 15% of my first draft of book 2, Desired by Shadow. I have an inspiration board on Pinterest
There you’ll find the Castles I’m using in the book, cities, maps, and a few actors I think would fit the roles of certain characters who made appearances in Book 1. I’ll also post music and other things as I progress.
Can you guess who is who? Or who would you pick to play Robert, Monroe, Colin, Rawlins and Solien?

Almost! – Day 31
Whoo-hoo! I’m finished with the challenge and on the home stretch of the first draft of my book. Of course before I get too excited, I’ll be taking a few days off and then starting the fun part – editing. Should take me about a month with editing and my beta readers then I send my second baby off to my editor. Stay tuned and later this summer I’ll release the cover. It’s beautiful!

Home Stretch… – Day 30
Tomorrow is the last day of my challenge. So I’m knocking out my words early and chilling by the pool then going out to dinner with friends! Then once the draft is complete, I’ll slowly back away from the book for a few days before I start editing.

Where I’d like to be – Day 29
Anybody else having trouble staying focused when the weather turns warm? I’m thinking about taking my laptop to the pool and sitting at a table working. Then I can enjoy the sun and still be productive…well, that’s the plan at least 
Have you listened to Capital Cities? They have a fantastic sound and I love their music. Anyway, a while back they asked people to record their voice saying “I like it when ___”. For fun, I said “I like it when it rains at night and I’m curled up in bed with a good book.” And whaddya know? My voice is on the new song Farrah Fawcett Hair – super fun!

Laughing Cats – Day 28
There’s an app for the iPad called Paint for Cats. It’s a blank screen and a mouse runs across the screen. The cats paw at the screen and make paintings. Both my cats love this thing and I laugh and laugh watching them play it. The funniest part? I posted one of the paintings on twitter and someone asked if it was for sale? Maybe I should put them both to work painting and I’ll lay by the pool all day!

Yum! – Day 27
Continuing with the treat theme – both my niece’s love McDonald’s or Donald’s for the 3 and under set. They adore the dip cones. I like them but only wish the ice cream was chocolate as well as the coating.

Cupcakes – Day 26
We have a Gigi’s cupcake shop near me and my niece is crazy about their cupcakes. They are a special treat so when she was awarded her blue belt for karate she wanted one. They are crazy big and tons of calories so only once in a while. Talk about some yummieness!
