New date for book--it's coming!
My book was supposed to debut April 31. But because of snagfoos with the cover, that pushed it way back. The new date now is (hopefully) by May 31.
Covers are the hardest, to me, to create. You have this one idea in your mind, and when it's all over, something totally different is the result. The first cover design of this book was soooo awful, I cried for days. This is why it took so long to finally get everything to this point.
So, it's all coming together and by the end of May, my first suspense novel should be available on Kindle. Please don't give up on me readers. I'm trying to do the best I can to keep you happy.
Remember, you can contact me anytime. I'd love to hear from you.
Thank you--Groovy

It's almost here!!!
Okay, so the cover of my latest novel is being created as I post. I'm so excited and can't wait to see what it looks like. I guess I can give a little of what it's about away:
Entitled "Cause She's a Good Girl", a devastating event finally frees Piper Banion from a miserable life of abuse by her mother. She's also a devout virgin, but that oath is made difficult when she meets her best friend's cousin Oz. The kicker to this is that he looks exactly like Prince, and is often approached by women enthralled by the thought. (If you're a Prince fan, I think you'll going to looove Oz)
Of course this all revolves around a serial killer loose in California; And it seems he's killing everyone Piper comes into contact with. So, why isn't Piper one of his victims? (Read the title)
Hopefully, this book will be realesed by the end of April. And I do so hope readers will enjoy this. It's what writing is all about, isn't it? I'll let you know the exact date soon. You can go to my website at groovylee.com and see the latest happenings. Send me an email and let me know what you think.

First Suspense Novel
I've just finished my first suspense novel for Kindle. Admittedly, I wrote this several years ago and self-published it. Charming, Alarming, Disarming did very well, but is so outdated. So I brought it up to 2014 and gave it a new title thanks to Robin Thicke. The writing has improved so much, even though everyone loved the old version. It's odd how no matter how many times you write a book, it can always be improved. I'm so proud of it, and am excited for it's debut in April.
For all you Prince lovers, I think you'll like this--at least I hope.

My first fan
The first thing I would like to say is how excited I am that I have one fan. I know, right? One! But whether it's one or one million, I'm so honored that someone likes my stories enough to sign me up as one of their favorite authors. I have others who love to read my stories, and I hope to get many more fans, but having Olga take out the time to sign up as my first is awesome. Thank you, Olga. I hope I don't disappoint you.
My philosophy is always: if I can make one person's heart smile from reading one of my books, then I've accomplished my goal. That's what it's all about. It's not about the money. If I didn't need to pay for cover artists and other publishing matters, I would do this for free. It's getting those "I loved this book" kind of reviews that means more than anything.
Oh, and Goodreads is the best place for all authors, especially first-time authors, to flourish and earn their fans. Thanks Goodreads!
