Your future Prime Minister awaits you!
"With great power-cuts come great responsibility..." - Indian Anonymous.
All these years, I felt that my calling in life was to be a food connoisseur, trekking across the length and breadth of this nation as I hunt for the best buffet of the nation (Barbeque Nation, presently). But now, having seen so much anguish and hatred amongst my fellow brothers and their sisters as they shred each other apart on social media over who would be a worthy Prime Minister to lead this country into t...

100HappyDays: Days 20- 26
I get why this 100HappyDays challenge is so hard. Eventually the tide turns and you have a bad day and you find yourself obsessing over that moment of sorrow. The happy moment seems mundane... irrelevant even.
But that's just it. We need to focus on the happiness. Find something to smile about every day.

100HappyDays: Days 13- 19
19 good moments in 19 consecutive days. There's only one thing to surmise from this... the regular demon in charge of giving me 'my daily dose of evil-eye' must be on vacation. If I had to take a guess, I'd say I'm pretty sure he's in Delhi playing havoc with 'certain chief ministers' there.

Days 1-5 of the #100HappyDays Challenge: The thrilling one with the evil dog & the winning lottery ticket that has the Ambanis shivering in their boots... during summer. And now... on to today's episode... 100HappyDays: Days 1-5
Like so many others, I too have taken up the 100happydays challenge. I agree with the concept behind the challenge, honestly. So many of us (myself included) don't have time to be happy and appreciate a lovely moment in today's world. According to the site, 71% of people could not complete the challenge of submitting a picture of moments of happiness for 100 consecutive days. They simply had 'no time to be happy.' I definitely intend to be among the remaining 29% when April arrives!...

The Write Tribe Anthology - Book 1

e-book for free.To celebrate her 50th birthday, popular blogger Vidya Sury requested some of Write Tribe's members and other popular bloggers - including many a published author - to submit one of their favourite posts from their blogs, which she then painstakingly edited into an anthology. Of course, when she wasn't looking, I sneaked my own article in there as well so that my name too would appear alongside such distinguished names in the anthology's in...

My 5 gifts for my kids
When the time comes, what are the 5 gifts I would want to bestow upon my children for their future?
This was a surprisingly challenging question to answer; the more I thought about it, the more answers popped up in my head. After going through a whole alphabetical list and crossing off the zebras and zoozoo dolls in the final 'Z' page, this is my choices on what I would want my kids to have.
1. Education and aptitude.Scary as it is to admit, we live in a land where the less you study, the...

Somewhere, in some corner of the country, someone would be begging online for help to save someone they care about. They usually mention all the relevant details: the blood group, hospital, city and contact number. I...

Dream a new dream...
What better way to end the WriteTribe Festival of Words 2 than with a quote on dreams...
"Twenty years from now you will be more disappointed by the things that you didn't do than by the ones you did do. So throw off the bowlines. Sail away from the safe harbor. Catch the trade winds in your sails. Explore. Dream. Discover."
I have truly spent far too many years looking back at my 'what ifs'. I don't want to look back a decade from now and let these years too be just insigni...
