The countdown begins…
With only 4 weeks left until Escape down under is released, I think it’s time the countdown started!
For Jess Townsend life is about to get complicated.
Following on from her split with Josh two months ago, Jess has thrown herself into her work full throttle, making sure that the one good thing in her life remains the same.
Suddenly she is called into an important meeting at work. Absolutely petrified that she is about to lose her job, she does the only thing she knows how. Panic on the inside and walk in with her head held high on the outside.
Jess soon discovers that she is being offered the opportunity of a lifetime, but will she take it?
After dealing with an ex who can’t let go and a broody mysterious Adonis who won’t accepted no for an answer, maybe the opportunity of an escape has arrived at the perfect time.
What does fate have in store and what obstacles will be thrown her way?

Here's a little excerpt from Escape down under...
I disconnect the call and slide it into my jacket just as a force barrels into my chest. I'm not in the mood for any of this shit today. I'm about to let rip towards this prick for not watching where they're going when I look down and see a mass of honey coloured hair before me.
"Maybe you want to watch where you're going?" I say, a little shitty. It's all I can say as the moment she looks up and her eyes meet mine, I'm rendered speechless. Fuck, she looks like a deer caught in the headlights, those eyes. She's looking at me like she can see right through me. I don't know if it's the jet lag or the collision that just took place but the wind has well and truly been sucker punched right out of me. I want to look away, walk on and get on with my day; but my legs won't move as I take in her beauty.
Those eyes.
That mouth.
Legs that go on for days.
What I wouldn't do to have those bad boys wrapped tightly around my shoulders as I work her tiny arse hard. ~ Max Wild

I'm moving... But not too far!
So, this weekend I have finally managed to grasp this self-Hosting malarky. And.. I now have my very own self-hosted site.
(Yes I am feeling slightly proud, shocking I know right?)
So if you would still like to be kept in the loop on all things 'Down under' and my future projects then head on over to My new site…

Sneak peak!
Here is a brief snippet from Escape down under….
Enjoy!!!
I look up from my computer screen and glare at the queen bitch stood in front of me. I wondered how long it would take until she would be sharpening her claws and clicking her stilettos around my office. Not long enough by the looks of things. It would seem she has made it her sole purpose In life to taunt me at every possible opportunity. I don’t even give her the pleasure of a response and resume typing out my email. I sense her eyes burning into me some more so I briefly look up once again. She doesn’t look like she is about to go anywhere so I give in.
‘Stella, to what do I owe the pleasure?’
I’m trying here, really I am. My jaw is clenching tighter and tighter but I still keep my calm. Much to ones surprise. I will not let this super psycho bitch get to me!! Nope, not one little bit. Truthfully it’s only my pride and sheer fear of being someone’s bitch that stops me from ramming her delectable jimmy choos down her throat. The thought however is very pleasing to my imagination.
‘Oh Jess, you’re so naive, and for a focused successful business woman? I would have expected a little more dignity from you.’
As her eyebrows try to shoot upwards I can’t help but feel smug inside and thank all things Botox. I was at a point in my life where I was quite happy with my appearance, however if I ever considered Botox I would think back on this day and be reminded that constipation isn’t a look I want to aim for.
‘Do you really think now he’s had you that he’ll stick around? He doesn’t do relationships, he never has and he never will sweetheart. Trust me.’ she purrs. ‘I have been around long enough to know him and I know he doesn’t do commitment. Obviously if he did, do you really think he would be flashing his puppy dog eyes at the likes of you. Especially when there are clearly better options available for him?’

New book cover!
I will always be the first to admit that I can be extremely indecisive at times. Pretty much about everything!
I have that many thoughts and ideas running around inside my little head all at once that everything gets a little bit jumbled from time to time. It really isn’t easy being me sometimes.
So with all this in mind, I have been racking my brains over the past week to create my book cover for Escape down under and to say it hasn’t been easy going would be an understatement. I have edited and changed my layout more than I can remember, but at long last I think I may have a keeper!
Now that this (I hope ) little project is finally complete I will be able to get on with Jess’ story.. And then let the next two cover debates start!

Escape down under... Coming soon!

And what better time to embark on a new adventure which could also rocket her career.
