I live for the pain; it’s what drives me to keep moving. But there comes a time when one has to push the demons aside in order to survive.
I thought I buried them deep. I thought I was ready to finally live. Until… my brother, Alex; he throws me into the fire—right into the place I could never control myself, the one place I never want to be again.
When I put my hands on people, they get hurt. Things happen that bring me back to that night. The one that will forever torment me.
I’m doing fine, keeping to myself in order to ensure no one gets hurt by me. Then along comes Lyric, and all I want to do is touch her, to put my hands in places that I know will only lead to her being crushed by me.

“I thought I told you to stay upstairs? Dammit, Lyric.” His voice is thick and harsh as he fights to catch his breath.
I swallow as he grabs my camera and takes it off from around my neck, setting it down onto oh his dresser. My treacherous eyes wander down to his stiff chest and abs, landing directly on the V of muscle leading down to his jeans. The little moist patch of brown hair, almost causes my mouth to water as I think about what it leads to. It’s barely there, but is enough to catch my attention.
“I’m leaving,” I blurt out, unsure of how to act now that my resolve has crumbled. “I was coming to let you know. Now give me my camera so I can go.”
He walks forward until I’m backed up against the wall, with his arms pinning me in. He inhales a deep breath and leans down so that his lips are just inches above mine. Our bodies aren’t touching, yet my stupid body is reacting as if we are. My breathing picks up as I smell his minty breath mixed with hard liquor as it brushes against my lips.
“You like taking pictures of me, Lyric?” He presses his body a little closer, but still doesn’t touch me. Call me crazy, but my body is screaming for him to at this point. “I can take my clothes off right now and let you take as many pictures as you want as long as you promise to keep my jacket on. Is that what you want? Huh, Lyric? Because that is all I can do for you.”
I fight to catch my breath before I place my hands on his sweaty chest and push him away. He hasn’t even touched me and I am so damn turned on that I can’t fight the wetness forming between my legs. Just the thought of his sweaty, naked body is insanely hot. Him offering to show it to me… I can’t even go there. I just need to get out of here.
“Just because I like taking your picture, does not mean that I want to see you naked. It means that… just never mind. I don’t have to explain shit to you. I’m out of here.”
I walk past him and reach for my camera, replacing the cap.

Welcome to the crazy and hectic life that is me… A fun, loving mum of one special little boy, girlfriend (I’m sure it should be wife by now!!) and an overall crazy, happy go lucky girl from England.
I have always had a passion for reading and writing. Wherever I am, my book reader is never far behind along with a mug of coffee.
I found myself wanting to write from a young age, I have quite a few hidden stories on my computer somewhere, maybe I will have to dig them out and play around with them at some point.
I decided to make the very exciting but also very nerve wracking decision to release my debut ‘Escape down under’ at the end of 2013 when the ideas in my head got too strong and just wouldn’t leave me alone.
Escape down under is now live and Fallen down under is due for release on November 2nd

Exciting news…
Just a little update.
For the past week, well since last weekend actually, I have been bouncing off the walls with excitement.
Why I hear you ask?
Well, little old me will be attending my very first author signing next year along with some amazingly talented authors.
Needless to say, underneath all of the excitement buzz, I’m a little nervous too. What to expect? What swag should I take? I want to make sure it’s something that you will enjoy.
I will hopefully have 4 novels out by that time – the whole Down under series plus obsession.
The event will take place in Birmingham over the weekend of 17-19th July 2015. I believe ticket information will be available nearer the time and as soon as I have that I’ll be sure to post about it – quite often!

Already knowing the plan, Nico walks over to stand in front of Onyx. He wraps one arm around her waist while fisting her hair and kissing her neck.
Onyx lets out a little moan as her eyes connect with mine. I hold her stare and bite my bottom lip as I nod my head for her to go on. I’m not surprised that she’s a tad hesitant.
Grabbing onto the top of Nico’s shirt, Onyx pulls him into her, causing them both to fall over onto the couch. His lips instantly seek hers as he buries himself between her legs and squeezes her bare thigh.
I walk over to the leather chair and take a seat in front of them. As much as I hate the thought of someone touching her, I can’t help my cock from getting hard. The plan is to watch him touch her, taste her, and arouse her for a while before I join. It’s how Nico always does it with me. Sitting here now, in his seat, I’m not sure how he does it.

Author Bio:
Raised in a creative family, witnessing one another expressing themselves through creativity, albeit musically or through a form of literature, it was only a matter of time before my passion for devising characters and their unique stories in their own world, began to form and grow. From there the seed was sown and flourished into a young girls dream.
Throughout the years I have often toyed with the idea of pursuing this path, yet unknowing where to begin. There are so many routes in this day and age to help get from A to B, that the dream was both tangible and terrifying. So with that, and after a few months of kicking myself into gear thanks to a certain someone, I decided to self-publish, and that decision was most probably one of the best decisions I have ever made.
I am a mother of a 6 year old son who knows how to keep me on my toes, and married my high school sweetheart 6 years ago. I can’t express how supportive and understanding both have been while pursuing this journey.
If I’m not writing I’m constantly thinking about writing and can be found either chasing my son around, with my nose in book or being creative in the kitchen.

Bloody hell, if you haven’t you definitely need to bump it up on your TBR and make sure that it’s the next book you read.
Seeking Nirvana was an absolute pleasure to read. I was captivated right from the very first page. Be warned, you will get goosebumps throughout.
First we meet Kady when she has just woken from a coma and lost three years of her life… Just like that, all of the memories that she made within those three years have vanished.
Confused? Scared? Unsure? A big fat yes to all three, but what will it take to unlock the hidden truths of her past and what will she discover?
We soon meet Irish… Hello sexy!!! You will love him instantly. Definitely a new hot book boyfriend of mine and because I’m quite generous I’m willing to share him with you. ❤️
To be honest I’m quite tempted to go out and look for my very own Irish, but I don’t think my hubby would be too happy about that so instead I’m relishing in everything Victoria creates.
This was my first dark read and it really had me gripped. Victoria keeps you guessing throughout and the webs of mystery that she creates are utterly flawless and this book is beautifully written too.
I cannot wait for Eluding Nirvana to see what happens next. I know that it’s going to be just as good as book one if not more enthralling.
