Pet Salesmanship – Photos

This week’s humor column is filed and runs tomorrow in www.anewscafe.com . It’s about wine tasting. I swear this has nothing to do, this time, with spilling wine on anyone.

Instead, it’s about spitting wine in a bucket.

Our outing to Healdsburg in northern Sonoma County was one of those “let’s just drive and see where we end up” sort of trips. It was great, and we met some neat people. Some of them even had four legs, fur, and were heavily into sales.

Didn’t have room for them in this week’s tale, but i wanted you to meet them anyway.

Jake minds the store… floor

 

 

Jake the cat wasn’t much for interaction, but he definitely helped set the mood in the Copperfield’s book store on the square. He’s a lot nicer that the other kitty, Sweet Pea.

Word is that it’s risky to pet Sweetpea. You may, as Grandma used to say, “pull back a bloody stump.”
