MLRP Releases Adaptation of Because Reasons On YouTube
My Little Rascal Productions, LLC, has released a short movie adaptation of Isaac Thorne’s Because Reasons on YouTube. The movie was released following its tour of the festival circuit, where it won fan favorite at the 2018 Tennessee Horror News Film Festival, Best Kill at the 2018 Independent Horror Movie Awards, and Honorable Mention at the 2018 Top Shorts Festival. “I’m really excited that the public now gets to see this incredible adaptation of one of my short stories,” Isaac says of the release. “Everyone at MLRP really stepped up and knocked it out of the park on this.” The short movie was directed by Roger Glass. Glass also edited and provided cinematography along with Daniel Brown. Joseph and Lisa Sorrentino were executive producers. The movie stars Krista West as fledgling serial killer Tiffany. Shawn Shillingford plays her most current unwilling victim, whom she simply calls “Buddy Boo.” Tiffany’s mother and father are played by Julie Chapin and David R. Clayton, respectively. Pastor Bev is played by Adela-Adriana Moscu. The cast is rounded out by “Girl in Car,” who is played by Melissa Marie. Marie was also responsible for the makeup work. “The cast couldn’t have been better,” Isaac says.

Isaac Discusses Capital Punishment on Blood On The Rocks Podcast
In May of 2018, Isaac Thorne appeared on the Blood on the Rock podcast, where he discussed the history of capital punishment and read an excerpt from “Safety First,” a short story that appears in Road Kills. “It was a fascinating conversation,” Isaac says of the experience. “Akshay Tailor and I discussed several highlights from capital punishment throughout history. For example, I had no idea that the death sentence was first codified way back in the 18th Century BC. There were 25 reasons the state could kill you, but none of them were murder. “Blood on the Rocks seems unique in the horror podcast sphere,” he continues. “It’s a podcast that centers on the discussion of real-life horrific and gruesome stories from throughout history. I thoroughly enjoyed my time with Akshay.” After the discussion, Isaac read an excerpt from “Safety First,” which appears in the short story collection Road Kills and airs regularly in audio form on SCRM Radio. Isaac Plays ‘Jersey’ The Werewolf in THE NATURES OF MEN AND MONSTERS
YouTube horror narrator and video creator Immunity Zero recently released the first part of writer Marc Selby’s The Natures of Men and Monsters on the Read with Immunity YouTube channel. The story stars Lance’s Creepy Reading, another YouTuber, as Nathan, a vampire-like private detective. Isaac plays Nathan’s werewolf partner Jersey. “It’s great to be back in a voice acting gig that isn’t my own creation,” Isaac says. “There are times when the ability to perform in a gruff voice comes in handy. It just so happened that the Jersey character is a role I felt like I fit.” Part 1 of The Natures of Men and Monsters also stars YouTuber Swamp Dweller as Jimmy and SCRM Radio owner Tra Cee as Beth. YouTuber Raggedy Anzy created the artwork. “It was a pleasure to be included among these folks as they were creating this unique new combination crime drama and horror story,” Isaac says. “I’m looking forward to the release of Part 2 and beyond. MLRP’s BECAUSE REASONS Wins BEST KILL at Independent Horror Movie Awards
My Little Rascal Productions‘ adaptation of Isaac Thorne’s Because Reasons won the BEST KILL award at the 2018 Independent horror Movie Awards. The short film also received three other nominations, including BEST SHORT and BEST ACTRESS for Krista West, who stars in the lead role of Tiffany. “This is great news coming off the film’s fan favorite win at ConNooga,” Thorne says of the announcement. “Joey and Lisa Sorrentino absolutely deserve all the kudos for this adaptation of my short story. From the cast, to the effects, to the music, to the direction, to the story, everything is bloody and fun. That’s exactly what it should be.” My Little Rascal Productions completed shooting for Because Reasons in November of 2017. It is the first of three short films slated to be adapted from stories that appear in Thorne’s collection of short tales of dark horror Road Kills. Because Reasons Film Adaptation Wins Fan Favorite at ConNooga
My Little Rascal Productions short film adaptation of Isaac Thorne’s short tale of dark comic horror Because Reasons was shown at TN Horror News’ Indie Horror Film Showcase Feb. 24, 2018. The showcase was part of a ConNooga 2018 panel hosted by TN Horror News. “It was awesome getting to see Because Reasons play before an audience,” Isaac says. “The showcase experienced a few technical difficulties that meant only three of the six films were shown. Because Reasons was the first. I was happy to learn that the small audience there selected it as their favorite.” The My Little Rascal Productions short film is based on Isaac’s short tale of dark comic horror of the same name. First Trailer for Horror Short BECAUSE REASONS Released
Krista west as Tiffany in BECAUSE REASONS
My Little Rascal Productions, LLC, released the first trailer for their upcoming horror short BECAUSE REASONS. The film is an adaptation of Isaac Thorne’s original short tale of dark comic horror. The film stars in the role of Tiffany, a bored young woman who decides to liven up her little town with some blood-soaked fun.
“My Little Rascal has created something awesome out of one of my stories,” Isaac says. “The trailer is only making me salivate more for the upcoming final product.
“Tiffany as a character seems to have struck a chord with a good many people,” he continues. “It’s exciting to finally see someone bring her night of terrifying traumas to life on-screen.”

Isaac Joins TN Horror News Film Reviews Team
[image error]TN Horror News recently welcomed Isaac Thorne aboard its team of film reviewers. Isaac’s first review for the horror news and promotions organization was for the holiday themed horror film The Elf.
“I’m excited to be a part of the works with TN Horror News now,” Isaac says. “My reviews for them will be separate and different than my reviews for The Horrorcist, so readers won’t be getting the same work from two different sources. Another plus is the simple fact that I get to watch twice the number of movies.”
