Give Your Writing More Impact by Defining Who You are Writing for- Writing Tip Tuesday
http://www.writepublishnow.com/give-writing-impact-defining-writing/
I think that this is very important for every author to do at some point during their career. I mean, who are you writing for? What do you want them to take away from your work? Having a defined image will help you become a better author.

Blog Monday- Homework got in the way
I have a very interesting job. There is a lot of information involved, and I am forced to spend the night studying. It’s actually pretty cool, and I wouldn’t change the opportunities I’ve been given for the world.
There is not a whole lot going on in TNTC world. I am at about 40k in the word count, which means almost 20k away from goal. It will be nice to hit it because Celine did not hit goal.
Since September is over tomorrow, I would venture to say that Jeremy’s first draft will be finished early October. After the first draft is finish, I will be calling for Beta Readers (as I’ve said.)
Thank you guys for staying up with the blog. I greatly appreciate it!!

Firebound (Spellbringers Book Two) by Tricia Drammeh— Book Review Thursday
Click here for the buy link
The Claim between Alisa and Bryce is as strong as ever. Their love and desire for each other is overwhelming. Of course, Bryce’s controlling and jealous behavior may put an end of all of that. Alisa tries to maintain her independence but with the bond of the Claiming Words, she’s finding it harder than she had anticipated.
Seemingly free from Re’Vel’s game, Rachel tries to return to normalcy. Her relationship with Jace seems better than ever. However, her pride and her fear for her brother’s safety leads Rachel down a dark path that will not only damage the bond she has with the Alexanders, but puts everyone-including Alisa- in real danger.
An evil blast from the past is trying to shake the Alexander family, and puts Rachel in his sights. When Alisa finds herself as the target of the demon’s game, Bryce will do whatever it takes to keep the woman he loves safe.
All I’ve been saying since I finished Firebound has been “holy crap.” I mean, seriously. The LONG anticipated sequel to Spellbound has been nothing short of amazing. More drama, more romance, and a deeper view of the characters, Firebound is everything I could have hoped for in this series and more. It seems that when the publisher didn’t move forward after TCW, it really was a blessing. Tricia’s passion and commitment to this series shines through on the pages and I feel as though a publisher would have really taken away from the overall story. These characters are deeper than ever, more human. The situations are reminiscent of Joss Whedon, taking a real scenario (moving too quickly with a boyfriend, cheating on your partner) and wrapping it in a monster covered coating.
I cannot wait for Unbound. I am absolutely dying. This series is a must read.

Really Interesting Words to Spice up Your Writing

Blog Monday
Since my current recording… area… is unavailable, I’ve decided to do a good, old fashion written post. It’s been a while since I’ve done one and I thought that it would be enjoyable for everyone.
There has been a lot of progress on Jeremy and I’m happy to say that I think that the first draft will be done by the end of September, beginning of October. I’m shooting for a release date of Christmas, but I’m not making any promises. I wanted to apologize to you guys, again, for how long it has taken me to get it done. When I started writing Jeremy (over a year ago) I had anticipated it to be an end of 2013/ beginning of 2014 release, but life seriously got in the way. I appreciate you guys so much for sticking with me.
On the Night Touched train of thought, the final 3 Becoming Night Touched stories will be out in time for the Jeremy release. I’ve almost finished Celine’s so it should be out relatively soon.
I’m also going to be calling for 2-3 more beta readers for Jeremy as soon as the first draft goes into the editing stage. If you’re interested in signing up, please click here to find out more information.
Thank you guys so much for checking in on today’s post. If you have any questions for me, or if you have any ideas for future vlogs, leave a comment. If you haven’t had a chance to subscribe to the Youtube for all the latest videos from me, click here. See you all in the next video!! The Guide to Self Publishing, Episode 2 will be out on Wednesday. My video review for Vampire Morsels by Joleene Naylor will be up on Thursday.
Bye guys!

There is a lot about this song that speaks to the relationship between Harper and Silas. I hope that you enjoy it.

Spellbound, Spellbringers Book One
Before Jace came to Oaktree, Alisa was friendless and unpopular. After she saves him from a Hunter, everything changes. Jace and his family introduce her to the world of Spellbringers, and change the way she looks at everything, including herself. Of course, Jace’s older brother, Bryce, is very vocal with his opinions about letting a human in on their secret. When Bryce finally opens himself up to her, things change between them in many ways.
Rachel is every bit your average high school student. Popular, athletic, and has an amazing boyfriend. When Jace shows up on her radar, everything begins to change. He helps her unlock a part of herself she didn’t even know existed. When her dreams of Re’Vel, a powerful demon, start taking a turn for the worse, Rachel has to accept her gifts and look towards Jace and his family.
A dark family secret, danger, and magic, Rachel and Alisa have learn how to adjust to life with their new knowledge and be wary of The Claiming Words.
I can honestly say that this rewrite has turned what used to be The Claiming Words into a more driven and intense story that is now Spellbound. Tricia Drammeh has worked her bottom off to make this every bit the novel that she initially wanted. The care and concern for this story as a whole are evident with every turn of the page.
As someone that has read both The Claiming Words and Spellbound, I can tell you that the story is very different. If you think you shouldn’t read it because you already have read TCW then you’re sadly mistaken. This book is phenomenal and I would recommend it to just about any one.
Amazing job, Tricia!
