Work @ Home Blogging - Add-and-Leave-it Ads + A Little R & R Wednesdays - a linky party #43

I call them "Add-and-Leave Ads". Probably not terribly original. But it helps me distinguish between these kinds of ads and actual affiliate ads, which we will look at next week.

These are ads that you can put on your blog, leave them and just let them earn money for you.

I read a sobering article not long ago by Anne Marie Miller Three Things You Don't Know About Your Children and Sex.  

The fact is that kids are introduced to pornography at a very early age through the Internet. But not only porn. We read in the news all the time about how kids are sexting and bullying each other online. They have access to purchase legal hallucinogens, and can find information about making bombs. They have access to extremely violent video games and can download illegal material.

Discovering True Identity Book Club - Week 1 - Compromises and God's Creative Purpose

Memorizing God's Word as a Family + All Things Spring Link up!

Ahhhhh spring.

Who doesn't love spring?

The soil warms and all of nature wakes up and comes to life!! I can't wait to dig my hands into some rich, dark earth as I plant our fall garden, and pray for a larger harvest than last year (frankly, anything would be an improvement on that...but moving along....).

I don't know about you, but I find that I often experience these seasons in my soul and spirit. Sometimes when winter hits, the sudden cold literally kills a plant. Some are too sensitive to extreme temperature and cannot survive in cold weather.

One thing I have found that helps me to insulate my heart and keep it from dying in those seasons when it seems like I'm cold and lifeless is scripture memorization. It is essential that we go beyond knowing about God and about the Bible, really know God personally and know His Word intimately.

I confess. This is one aspect of "organizing" that I fail at miserably.
I am able to care for many things: my husband, my children, my home, my ministry, my work - but I am always so far down the list that I usually don't have the time to care for me as I should.
I want to start exercising again (seriously can't believe I just typed that - but it's true...surprisingly so!)I want to be more consistent with my vitaminsI want to be more consistent with my weight lossI want to be more consistent with shutting this screen down and relaxing
