Title: A Beautiful ThoughtAuthor: Alicia RaeGenre: New Adult Contemporary RomancePublish Date: July 14th 2014Cover Design: Okay Creation Sarah HansenBook Tour organised by: Literati Author Services

As a physical sports therapist, Gail Bennett is accustomed to working with gorgeous athletes every day, but after falling for a few of these attractive men, she has been left heartbroken one too many times. When Gail’s hours at work are unexpectedly cut, she must find a way to continue helping her parents pay for her sister’s education. Reluctantly following her best friend’s advice, Gail takes on a roommate–with the one man she has been avoiding since the first time she laid eyes on him.

Damon Johnson loves a challenge, and he is not the type of man to back down when he wants something. From the first moment he meets Gail for dinner, he feels an inexplicable pull between the two of them. In his determination to have her, he finds himself helping her in any way he can.

Can Damon break through all the barriers Gail has so carefully placed around her heart and prove that he’s different? Or will Gail’s reservations keep her from falling in love?

One thought could change everything.

~Gail~My nerves were now out of control with anticipation of seeing Damon for the first time since meeting him at Pearl’s party. A waitress appeared at my side. “What can I get you to drink, hon?”I rotated to face her, and I chose the first drink that came to the front of my mind. “A screwdriver, please.”“Going right for the good stuff.” She grinned. “Give me just a few, and I’ll be back.”“Sure. Thank you.”Within minutes, the waitress promptly returned with my drink. I sipped on it while watching the baseball game on a flat screen hanging from the ceiling. Oh-so slowly, the tension in my body dulled. At least, that was the case until the second my eyes caught sight of Damon striding through the front double doors. He was wearing a white collared dress shirt with the sleeves cuffed at his forearms. His dark denim jeans had a light-colored stitching.  My pulse pumped uncontrollably as he approached the same woman at the front counter, and he offered her a friendly smile. The young blonde briefly spoke to him before pointing my way. Damon spun around, searching the crowd. When his eyes met mine, he revealed a heart-melting smile that defined the curve of his strong cheekbones. I was pretty sure my heart faltered for a few beats before kicking into an uneven rhythm. I forced myself to swallow deeply as he began to close the distance between us. His stride was composed, radiating strength and confidence. His brown hair was shorter than I remembered, and his tanned honey skin contrasted his soft blue eyes, making them appear calm and alluring. It was a strikingly hot mix.I stood to greet him. My knees felt weak, but I ignored the sensation as I smiled shyly. “Hello, Damon.” I kept it short and sweet, so I could not lose control of my voice. “Nice to see you again, Gail,” he replied, not missing a beat. The deep throatiness of his tone sent awareness trickling down my spine. I resisted a shiver at the sound.I gestured to the chairs adjacent to us. “Shall we?” “Of course.”After taking our seats, my adrenaline kicked into overdrive. I didn’t have the slightest clue how to get this conversation rolling, so I began with something simple. “Would you care for something to eat or drink?”“Sure.” He glanced down at my drink, and then back up at me. A mischievous grin revealed itself within his expression, making my heart stutter. “I see you already got started without me.”I shrugged, going for innocence. “Liquid courage and all…” I trailed off, realizing that was probably too honest of a response. His eyes shimmered, and the corner of his mouth slightly twitched with humor. “Not a bad way to go,” he teased.
I had to laugh. “That’s what I thought.”

Review and Promo Tour: Tug by K.J. Bell

10421421_1442813012664866_5900675264103040605_n

K.J. Bell's TUG is now available. This book is HOT! Check out the blurb and teasers and be sure to enter the giveaway too! **Tug's character was introduced in KJ Bell's debut Irreparable series. However, TUG is not part of the series and can be read without reading the other two books beforehand.**

Title: TugAuthor: K.J. BellReview & Promo tour organised by: Flirty and Dirty Book Blog

Aidan Hunter lost the only girl he ever loved to his older brother. To numb his pain, he drinks in excess, parties too hard, and sleeps with countless women. When his family expresses concern, he does what he's been taught to do—fake it and pretend his life is perfect. Pretend he loves his new girl and pretend his heart isn’t broken.

Maria Santiago is simply trying to survive each day until she finishes college. As a single mother, life is a constant struggle. Add running from a dangerous past and working in the oldest profession, and all she has is hope for a better life. Hope one day she will no longer feel shame and hope her past never catches up with her.

After Aidan pays to spend one wild night with Maria, pretending to be unaffected by her is impossible. Their night comes to an explosive end and Maria hopes she never sees him again, but Aidan refuses to give up. As Maria begins to accept that Aidan’s feelings for her are genuine, someone from her past threatens her life. Aidan’s not intimidated and takes a huge risk to protect her.

Will the risk pay off and allow Aidan the opportunity to provide Maria with the better life she’s been hoping for?

Having read and loved the Irreparable Series by K.J. Bell I couldn’t wait to pick up Tug . In fact, I was desperate to know how his story would unfold. Needless to say as soon as my copy of Tug hit my kindle I started reading and basically didn’t stop til I was done.

Tug is fast paced, filled with emotion and steam. The chemistry between Tug and Maria is intense and perfectly suited to the Tug we got to know in Irreversible Damage. He grew from the fun loving younger brother into a slightly bitter and jaded man – broken by his unreturned love for Tori and the Tug we saw more of in this story is exactly what I expected.

The relationship with Maria moved fairly quickly, although I saw this as a reflection of Tug’s dominant character. Maria was the perfect foil for Tug – challenging, confronting and not just giving in to his every whim (well at least not in the first instance anyway).

I loved that we got to see more of other characters from the series – Liv and Harrison face some challenges, and things aren’t necessarily smooth sailing for Tori and Brady either. Tug has to deal with his feelings for Tori and work out just where they belong.

I got to the end of the book and thought … WTF!! Then re-read a few pages and groaned out load. K.J. Bell has left us hanging, but the crafty thing has done it in a way that has me hooked, so now I’ll be waiting, waiting, waiting for the conclusion to Tug’s story.

Important to note, that while Tug is introduced in the Irreparable Series you can read Tug as a standalone.

Release Day Blitz: More Than Forever (More Series #4) by Jay McLean

Happy Release Day!!!More Than Forever, book #4 in the More Series by Jay McLean is available today.

Title: More Than Forever Series: More #4Author: Jay McLean Genre: New AdultRelease Date: July 12, 2014Release Day Blitz organised by: Forever Me Romance

-LUCY-
There is a love so fierce it cannot be measured.
A heart so strong it will never slow.
There is a promise so sure it can never lie.
He promised me that love forever.
Even when it wasn't enough.

-CAMERON-
Forever. Everlasting. Eternal.
There is no measure of time.
No sounds of the ticking of a clock.
Just the rising and falling of the sun.
And our own sense of forever.

But our forever isn't always.

Mom says that there’s absolutely no pain worse than labor. For sixteen hours, so she says, she went through absolute hell. She jokes that sometimes she wonders if it was worth it. I call bullshit. I say that nothing, absolutely nothing, can feel worse than being hit in the junk with a baseball bat. Lincoln’s eyes are huge as he grimaces. “I’m so sorry, Cam.”

I’m folded over myself, too preoccupied with the ache below my stomach. Sometimes, there’s a delay with the pain. But not this time. This time it was instant. I try to speak, but nothing comes out. He looks like he wants to cry and I want to assure him that it’s all good—but I can’t. Liam, Lincoln’s twin brother, is laughing. The little punk. I’ll be sure to make him do extra shit next practice. “Cam, are you okay?”

I try to straighten, but it just makes the pain worse. “Yeah, bud. I just gotta let it settle.”

“I swear I didn’t see you behind me.” There’s panic clear in his voice and for a second I want to tell myself to suck it up and quit being a little bitch, but I can’t do that either. The pain’s too overwhelming. Liam’s still laughing his ass off. My eyes narrow at him and Lincoln must notice, because he turns to his brother and pushes him hard enough that he falls to the ground. That makes Liam stop. He gets up and dusts the dirt of his uniform. “We should go, Linc, we’re the last ones here.”

Lincoln looks around. So do I. Liam’s right, everyone’s gone.

“I’m just gonna help Cam pack up,” Lincoln replies, picking up the team equipment bag and chucking in the helmets and bats sitting by my feet. He looks up at me again, and I can see how sorry he really is.

Standing to full height, I do my best to ignore the pain. “It’s okay, Linc. Seriously, it’s passed now.” It hasn’t, but he doesn’t need to know that. He finishes packing anyway and hands me the bag, it’s bigger than he is.

I take it from his hands and look around again. “Your mom or dad late to pick you up?”

“Nah,” Liam says, the laughter and amusement now gone. “Lucy’s here.”

“Lucy?”

“Our sister,” Lincoln explains.

They both turn to the bleachers and so do I. A lone girl sits at the bottom bench. Something flat, black and rectangular in her hand, kinda like a tablet, I guess. Her foot’s rocking a stroller back and forth. It strikes me as strange, because the girl looks familiar. She’s in my class, I think. She’s a freshman and she has a baby? Stuff like that doesn’t happen in our town and if it did, I’d know. Everyone would know.

“Lucy!” Liam shouts.

She doesn’t look up.

“Lucy!” Lincoln this time.

She still doesn’t look up, but her foot continues to rock the stroller.

“Luce!” Liam yells again.

Nothing.

My eyes narrow before looking down at the boys. “Is your sister…uh…hearing impaired?”

They both let out simultaneous snorts. “No,” Lincoln answers, pulling his cap further down his head and looking up at me. His eyes roll as he says, “She’s just reading.”

The More Series More Than This, #1

*Mikayla*

In one night my fairytale ended. Or it may have begun. This is my story of friendship and love, heartbreak and desire, and the strength to show weakness.

*Jake*

One night I met a girl. A sad and broken girl, but one more beautiful than any other. She laughed through her sadness, while I loved through her heartbreak.

*This is our story of a maybe ever after.*

He was right. It made no difference whether it was 6 months or 6 years.
I couldn’t undo what had been done. I couldn’t change the future.
I couldn’t even predict it.
It was one night.
One night when everything changed.
It was so much more than just the betrayal.
It was the Tragedy.
The Deaths.
The Murders.
But it was also that feeling.
The feeling of falling.

More Than Her, #2

For every action there is an equal or opposite reaction."
For every choice you make there are rewards,
or there are consequences.
It was my choice to walk away the first time.
And my choice to chase her the second.
But sometimes you don't get a choice,
and all you get are the consequences.”

"Being deeply loved by someone gives you strength, while loving someone deeply gives you courage.”

Unless that someone is Logan Matthews.
Because loving him didn't give me the strength to walk away.
It didn't give me the courage to fight for him.
And when it was over,
all it gave me was a broken heart.

More Than Him, #3

"Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate. Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure. It is our light, not our darkness, that most frightens us." - Marianne Williamson

We live in a world of darkness and shadows,

where monsters hide and aim to ruin.

And they did.

They ruined us and turned our dreams into nightmares.

But now we're back.

And we're fighting.

Not just for us, or for each other, but for our light.

It's nigh on impossible to put into words how much I loved this book and how much it touched me. Fighting Redemption is unforgettable, powerful, incredibly moving and it will live on my heart for months and years to come." ~ Sinfully Sexy Book Reviews

Ryan Kendall is broken. He understands pain. He knows the hand of violence and the ache of loss. He knows what it means to fail those who need you. Being broken doesn’t stop him wanting the one thing he can’t have; Finlay Tanner. Her smile is sweet and her future bright. She’s the girl he grew up with, the girl he loves, the girl he protects from the world, and from himself.
At nineteen, Ryan leaves to join the Australian Army. After years of training he becomes an elite SAS soldier and deploys to the Afghanistan war. His patrol undertakes the most dangerous missions a soldier can face. But no matter how far he runs, or how hard he fights, his need for Finlay won’t let go.
Returning home after six years, one look is all it takes to know he can’t live without her. But sometimes love isn’t enough to heal what hurts. Sometimes people like him can’t be fixed, and sometimes people like Finlay deserve more than what’s left.
This is a story about war and the cost of sacrifice. Where bonds are formed, and friendships found. Where those who are strong, fall hard. Where love is let go, heartache is born, and heroes are made. Where one man learns that the hardest fight of all, is the fight to save himself.

Later that morning after their workout and shower, Jake fell asleep on the couch. Feeling at a loss with nothing but time on his hands, Ryan wandered down the hall towards Fin’s room. She was sitting at a little study nook in the corner, laptop open with one foot resting on her chair. She was wearing a tank top and a little pair of shorts. Leaning up against the doorframe, he couldn’t tear his eyes away from those long, delectable legs.

As though sensing his presence, she turned in her chair. He forced his eyes upwards, catching a sexy flush fill her cheeks at his blatant perusal.

“Morning, Ryan.” She took off her black framed reading glasses and tossed them on the desk.

“Morning, Fin,” he replied.

Against his better judgement, Ryan pushed away from the door and walked farther into the room. Fin hadn’t changed at all and neither had his desire for her. His heart kicked over when she met his eyes. He knew everything he was feeling right now was written all over him, but he couldn’t seem to shut it off.

Her eyelids fluttered closed and she whispered, “Why now?”

Ryan took a deep breath. “I don’t know,” he replied honestly.

He shouldn’t still be feeling this way after so many years. Why was he doing this to her, and to himself? It was better for everyone if he stayed away like he was supposed to.

“I’m sorry. I shouldn’t have come. I’ll go stay at the barracks.” He turned to leave.

“Ryan!” she called out. Scrambling out of the chair, she grabbed his arm as he was halfway out the door.

“Fin,” he warned, looking down at her hand pointedly.

She took a step closer and he breathed her in, her scent like jasmine on a hot summer’s day. He was surprised when he looked into her eyes and saw anger burning hotly in their depths.

“Six years, Ryan. Do you know how hurt I was, each day passing by and getting nothing—not even a note or an email? I didn’t just lose you. I lost my brother too. Both of you left me, and I was okay with that. I understood that this was what you needed to do, so I moved on. I built a life that doesn’t include you. That was what I had to do.” She paused and raised a shaky hand to cup his cheek. “I’d have given you my entire heart if you’d only asked, but it’s not yours now. It’s not yours.”

Ryan closed his eyes, agony for losing what was never his rose in his chest until he felt strangled by it. He placed his hand over hers, holding it there until she tugged it away.

“You’re right,” Fin told him. “You should stay on the barracks … but I don’t want you to. Damn you, Ryan,” she whispered fiercely. “I don’t want you to.”

Ryan used his bulk to crowd her against the wall until there was no room for her to move. Leaning one hand against the wall, he grabbed her hip with the other. Her breathing rose rapidly and he leaned in, ducking his head until their mouths hovered a mere breath apart.

“Why can’t I force myself to leave?” He rested his forehead against hers and closed his eyes. “I hurt too. For six years I fought every day not to think of you, and I lost, because every day you were all I could see. You were the best thing in my life—so sweet and innocent, and so goddamn tempting.” His hand strayed from her hip and slid down to grip her ass. He swallowed the groan. “I stayed away so you could move on.”

I read Fighting Redemption at the end of 2013 and it became the number 1 book on my top ten list for the year. Here's my review:

I've just finished reading Fighting Redemption and I feel like I've had my heart ripped out, sewn back in and then ripped out all over again. It is an incredible roller coaster of emotion to read and so powerful in its story telling. Congratulations Kate McCarthy - this was pure awesome.

Before I touch on the story I want to acknowledge all of the wonderful people that choose a life in the armed forces. Reading Fighting Redemption I felt so incredibly proud and immensely grateful for the freedoms they ensure. Fighting Redemption was an absolute celebration of those that serve to protect our country and I am so humbled by what they sacrifice. Simply telling their story in such an accessible way and hopefully helping more people to understand exactly what they do give, makes Fighting Redemption worthy of five stars in my mind, let alone how wonderful the love story is that surrounds Ryan and Fin.
Ryan Kendall is broken. He understands pain. He knows the hand of violence and the ache of loss. He knows what it means to fail those who need you. Being broken doesn't stop him wanting the one thing he can’t have; Finlay Tanner. Her smile is sweet and her future bright. She’s the girl he grew up with, the girl he loves, the girl he protects from the world, and from himself.
Ryan was a wonderful character. So strong and purposeful. Driven by his one ‘failure’ to protect others. He deserved so much and yet felt that he deserved nothing. His connection with Fin was so much a part of both of them that to deny it was like denying a part of himself and yet he fought and fought against his feelings because he didn't believe he was enough for her.
“Don’t let anyone stop you from being who you need to be, okay?”
I loved Fin too. Smart, quirky, clumsy and feisty enough to hold her own with the boys. Her love for Ryan was something she didn't fully understand and watching her battle him as much as herself dragged me through every emotion possible. Sometimes I wanted to crack their heads together and tell them to sort their shit out, and yet that was exactly what they were doing, despite how painful it was to watch. Even with the challenges they faced, one thing that always shone through was the depth and intensity of their love – the challenge was for them to find their way through their own personal mine fields.

The brotherly bond between Ryan and Jake, Fin’s brother, was amazing and the strength of their commitment to serve their country simply radiated off the pages. They both knew without doubt that they had each other’s backs. Fin was left to wait for both of them to come home from their tours in Afghanistan and how on earth she survived those waits I will never know.

This story was one of the most heartbreaking, love filled stories I have read in a while. As an Australian I felt connected to the people and places in way that made it all seem incredibly real. I could relate the characters to people I know and the heartbreak and sadness I felt at times was overwhelming. So much so that I had to put my kindle down, despite desperately wanting to know what was going to happen I needed the reprieve just in case it went really badly.

There is an amazing cast of characters in Fighting Redemption that will stay with me - Ryan, Fin, Jake, Kyle, Rachael - and even though there could be more story told, there doesn't need to be. Fighting Redemption is impeccably written. Not only does it tell a beautiful love story, but it celebrates the many nameless/faceless soldiers that give us the freedoms that we take for granted on a daily basis. At the end I sat there, with a quiet tear, so thankful for what I have and for the gentle reminder to make the most of every moment and treasure those dear to me. The ending, along with the rest of the story, was perfect - thank you Kate McCarthy for this brilliant book.

5 out of 5 stars

Kate McCarthy grew up in a small town outside of Port Macquarie, Australia. Raised in a house just a short walk to the beach, Kate enjoyed the peaceful, relaxed atmosphere and friendships that come from being raised in a friendly, small town area.

She now resides in Brisbane, Australia, a city in the state of Queensland where she works as an accountant, along with a sideline wedding cake business and her writing.

She is married with two children, has two dogs and house in the suburbs, and a pile of friends and family dotted all over the country that help keep her sane.

When she’s not busy running after naughty kids, filthy dogs, crunching numbers, piping buttercream and writing books, you can find her curled up in bed in the early hours of the morning reading new books and re-reading old favourites. Her favourite books are the Black Dagger Brotherhood series by J.R. Ward in which she longs to eventually join the brotherhood and change her name to Phierce Mutha.

They say men like a lady in the living room and a whore in the bedroom. I never knew the sentiment was reciprocal. Until I met Jax Knight. A gentleman in public, a commanding, dirty talking rogue in the bedroom.
Daughter of legendary fighter “The Saint,” Lily St. Claire knows firsthand how fighters can be. As the owner of a chain of MMA gyms, she’s no stranger to aggressive, dominating, and possessive men. That’s why she’s always kept her distance. But the day Jax Knight walks through her door she’s captivated by his charm. Stunningly handsome, well mannered, Ivy League educated, and confident, he shatters all the preconceived notions she’d come to think were true about men who trained to fight.

But falling for someone so soon after her breakup wasn’t something she’d planned on. And definitely not something her ex plans to allow.

It didn't matter that the ref called it a clean hit. Nico Hunter would never be the same.

Elle has a good life. A job she loves, a great apartment, and the guy she's been dating for more than two years is a catch and a half. But it's boring...and she strives to keep it that way. Too many emotions are dangerous. Her own past is living proof of what can happen when you lose control.

Then Nico walks into Elle's office and everything changes...for both of them. But what can the tattooed, hard-bodied MMA fighter and the beautiful and always steady attorney have in common? A lot more than they bargained for.

***Author's note*** THIS IS A STAND-ALONE NOVEL. Due to strong language and sexual content, this book is not intended for readers under the age of 18.

Worth the Chance (Book Two)

Meet Liv Michaels
It may have been seven years, but I'd know him anywhere. Sure, he's grown, filled out in all the right places, but his captivating blue eyes and cocky grin are exactly the way I remember. Even though I'd much rather forget.
Liv Michaels is almost there. She's smart, determined and weeks away from landing the job she's dreamed about for years. Time healed old wounds, even her broken heart from the devastation of being crushed by her first love.
Meet Vince Stone
Women love a fighter, especially a good one. Lucky for me, I'm damn good. But there's one woman that isn't interested. Not again, anyway.

Vince 'The Invincible' Stone is every woman's fantasy...strong, sexy, confident and completely in control. Growing up surrounded by chaos, he's learned never to get too attached. Love will drag you down. He adores women, treats them well, puts their own needs before his own...for the night anyway. With the biggest fight of his life coming up, his focus should be on training.

When fate brings Vince & Liv back together again, there's no denying the chemistry is still there. But can Vince erase the old scars their past left behind? Or will Liv hurt him instead?

***Author's note*** THIS IS A STAND-ALONE NOVEL. Due to strong language and sexual content, this book is not intended for readers under the 18.

Always a fan of books, Raquel began reading at the age of six. Yes, she started early. It fueled her imagination and she began writing her own stories at the age of ten. Then her writing took a back seat when she discovered drama class in high school.

Becoming an actor was what she wanted to do with her life, but she changed her mind. "I felt like I needed to do something more meaningful and planned on becoming a nurse's assistant." She went to college for her CNA, but again, not the career choice for her.

When she turned twenty she met her husband, and shortly after, their daughter came. All the while she had these voices in her head, these characters begging her to tell their stories. "I put the mute button on them until I became pregnant with my son, now I can't get them to shut up." She wrote five unpublished novels before her son turned three. She hopes that her stories will be inspirational for people going through the same problems as her characters.

Instead of going the traditional route, sending out querys and receiving rejection letters, she decided to take on the world of indie publishing. She writes contemporary and paranormal romances and hopes to one day step outside her genre and write a horror novel.

She resides just outside of Detroit, Michigan with her husband, two children, two cats and a dog. Summer days are spent at the race track and when night time falls, her secret worlds come alive.

I got out of the shower and dressed hurriedly, anxious to get back to Cuba. The door opened, and like he did it every single day, he stepped inside the steamy bathroom.  “Think I need a shower, too,” he said, his fingers easing off his football practice shirt. What? Now?Trying to play it cool and failing miserably, I moved my eyes off his naked chest and checked out his track pants and the obvious bulge he sported. Oh. Did his lower body match the rest of him? Was it all sinewy muscle and big? Just, yeah. That thought got stuck in my head and went round and round. “You staying?” he asked, a grin working his face. Pleased at my open admiration, probably.“No,” I said, but made no move to go. ‘Cause I had no shame when it came to catching a glimpse of his muscular body.“Good,” he said, his smile broadening. He pivoted to turn on the shower, and my eyes betrayed me again, admiring the muscles in his back, checking out how they twitched and rippled when he moved. Football and rowing had been good to him. My fingers itched to know how they’d feel underneath my hands. Which was stupid because we had nothing in common. Not a rich Highland Park boy and a poor girl from Ratcliffe. And most importantly, he was a player, not to be trusted. He hooked his thumbs into his pants, paused a moment—maybe waiting to see if I’d run from the room?—but when I didn’t budge, he slid them and his underwear off. My mouth opened. Cuba Hudson, the most popular guy at Briarcrest was standing right in front of me, naked and beautiful. And like the cocky bastard he was, he posed for me, his big-ass biceps and chiseled abs making me vibrate all over. Need for him slammed into me.Did I say he was hot? Well, I was wrong. He was off-the-charts, no-holds-barred, freaking going make-me-lose-my-mind-right-there delicious. The ultimate man-candy, the kind I knew to stay away from, yet here I was, ogling him.“Still leaving?” he asked huskily.“Any minute,” I said in a weak voice, backing up to the wall and propping myself up. “Just chillin’. Shower wore me out. I might need to hold this wall up for a sec.”“I want you to stay,” he said, eyes at half-mast, glowing with heat.“Why?” I said, aching to touch him. But that was crazy. I was a virgin, and I didn’t know jack about touching a guy’s you-know-what. “Look at me, Dovey.”I tore my eyes from his manhood, blushing. His eyes burned. “There’s a sense of urgency in my head. Like our time is limited.”I nodded. Yeah, same here.“And, I’ll be honest, I don’t want to rush you, but I’m dying to sink into you. I want to set you on fire with need for me.” He ghosted his hands over the steel rod between his legs. Once, twice, and—holy shizzle, he didn’t stop. My chest rose faster and faster, and I tried to chill-out, but I couldn’t.He lowered his voice. “Kiss me again, Dovey.”Oh. “That’s a terrible idea, Cuba. Cause you’re naked, and I’m turned on because you’re naked. And you’re touching yourself. And you’re naked.” I sucked in a sharp breath. “Not a good combo. Odds are we’ll end up in that shower together or back in your bed doing the double-backed monster.”“Then join me in the shower. I’ll be good. For you.” He arched his back, his hands still doing that back and forth that was driving me insane.Liar, liar, pants on fire, I thought. No way he would he be good. Because he was the Heartbreaker of Briarcrest Academy. And one wicked boy.
