Highland Roots goes live
Finally! My first short story has been published on Smashwords. I hope to get three other published this evening.
The next stage will be to publish all four of them on Kindle.

Almost there!
I have been attending a conference in Ankara for the past few days (ENBIS-13), and now have the luxury of a few days of vacation in Turkey's capital city. I am using it well. Apart from catching up on some reading, I am doing some final editing and formatting of the stories of my anthology. It's lovely to do that sitting by the side of a hotel pool!

First draft is complete!
At last, and finally, you'll be delighted to learn that I have finished putting all five stories together.
All I have to do now is pause, re-read all of the content a few times, make minor revisions, format, then publish.
Perhaps I'll get there by the end of this month after all, despite flying off to Ankara on Sunday for ten days.

Travelling hampers writing
Had to work in Paris and Frankfurt this week, leaving home at 04:30 on Monday morning. It was solid meetings all the way. OK, I own up to some socialising, but it meant I had to stay up until 2 am each morning, but it would be rude not to!
It just meant that there wasn't much time for working on my anthology, so I am under pressure to meet my own deadline.

Anthology progress
I am working on the last two chapters of the final story in my anthology: When Pleasure Blooms. I am so excited, and hope to get this published in the next few weeks. My first book!
