Star of the Week: Rhonda Fleming
Rhonda Fleming is our new Star of the Week! To start things off with, you can watch a funny video clip of her in Alias Jesse James and read reviews of two of my favorites, While the City Sleeps and A Connecticut Yankee in King Arthur's Court. Enjoy, and come back directly to her page for two new reviews daily.

'Jackie Jester' book review
Wow, I really couldn't put this book down - and I was so excited to write my review and post it to The Rag. If you like period pieces, showbiz, or family dramas, 'Jackie Jester' is probably right up your alley. I really enjoyed Joel Samberg's writing style, and his grasp for the protagonist's humble Jewish background and all the pitfalls of showbiz makes sense, since he was inspired by his grandfather's journey. Read my full review here!

'God's Little Acre' book review
After watching some of those great Robert Ryan movies, you might want to read an original book behind the screenplay. Check out my review for God's Little Acre here! (And a good Samaritan told me the movie review wasn't uploaded properly, but it's all fixed now.)

The Next Star
Robert Ryan's time as Star of the Week has come to a close, and all 44 of his reviews are all posted to his page. Are you ready for your next clue?
I will always think of her as sweet Princess Sandy, but in the movie she made with Robert Ryan, she played a real bad girl.
Any guesses? This will be tough, since she's a bit obscure. But she did live to be almost 100 years old! Come back on Tuesday to find out who she is.

New release: "Jackie Jester"
Hello Rag readers! There's a new book release that I'm very excited about, and I actually couldn't wait until I posted my review to give it a shout-out. I've already gotten my copy and have dived into it - it's very tricky to write a "fictional biography", but author Joel Samberg has done it and done it well.
Jackie Jester is a fictional biography about a man trying to make it in show biz in the 1940s. Sounds totally up my alley, right? For more info, check out the author's post about his work, which was inspired by his grandfather's journey.

Our new Star of the Week is Robert Ryan! We'll upload two new reviews to his page every day, and for today, you can read about two of my favorites, Inferno and On Dangerous Ground. You can also watch a video clip of Clash by Night. It's a shorter clip than I usually upload, but if you want to see more, watch the whole movie!

You can't win 'em all
I read a lot - those of you who are Rag readers know this. And just because I didn't like a book doesn't mean you won't, either - so sometimes I post negative reviews on the off-chance they might appeal to someone. Who knows? There might be someone out there who follows the Rag religiously specifically for that reason! If everything I like you don't, and vice versa, check out these books:
Bloodbrothers (fiction)
Waiting to Be Heard (nonfiction)

Next week's star usually played villains, but in the movie he made with Greer Garson, they enjoyed a playful and instructive relationship.
Leave your guesses below, and come back on Friday to find out if you're right!
