Funny Friday Photos: Tossed Word Salad
Happy Friday!
Not much talking today. I've been editing, single-mothering while my husband was on a business trip, and working. It's been a busy, exhausting week. I can't tell you how lucky I feel to have a partner, especially one as wonderful a dad and husband as mine is.
I hope you enjoy the photos. It's a little short this week, because I'm falling asleep at the computer and I can't find a last photo. Please forgive me!

This is me, Boy 1 and Boy 2. I didn't think we'd be fighting for the remote until they were teens. I was wrong!
And, sadly, enjoying it more than any adult programming on tv lately.

I like Please Slow Drively. I can so relate. I can't seem to say the right word for anything lately. I try to tell the boys to go wash their hands and end up saying something stupid like "go wash the dogs" because I'm looking at the dogs. I fear for the future.

Funny Friday Photos: To the Moon and Back
Yay for Friday!
We actually had a blizzard! At least fifteen inches of snow fell in a day. All of the snow piles around town--many of which are as tall as I am--look amazing. Winter wonderland-ish.
I'm working hard at edits. I have a four day weekend this week, and that's my plan. Edit my fingers off. I need to have some self-control and not stray onto the internet, though.
The moon sign won last week, with two of you five wonderful commentators (I always think common-taters when I type that word) choosing it as your favorite.
Let's see some new photos! I think I'm going to give up on attribution. I'll see a photo being listed as from Dump-a-Day (as several of these were) but then find them on I Can Has Cheeseburger and The Meta Picture, too. I have no idea where each individual picture actually originated from. Just know you can find most of them on one of those sites.
I think it was photoshopped, but it's a funny idea.
Now that's a deal!

Funny Friday Photos: Make Room for Cake
Happy Friday!
Well, we all made it through another week, hopefully all in one piece. I've got some work to do on Through the Fairy Ring this weekend. I think I'll let everything except the laundry go this weekend to get it done. Boy 1 and Boy 2 will be happy because they're going to get to binge on video games.
I won't keep us from the new photos. I had less time tonight to find photos, so I'm afraid there's only six, instead of the usual eight. I'm not sure how much longer this post is going to be viable. It's getting harder and harder to find truly funny pictures.

Funny Friday Photos: Cuttlefish are Cute, Too.
Happy Friday!
So, how was your week? My last two have been a struggle, to be honest. But, on the plus side, I'm looking forward to getting back to work on Through the Fairy Ring this weekend by incorporating beta-reader feedback into the story, and getting it closer to publication.
I have been heartened by the reactions of those who have read TTFR so far. Okay, so I guess it's more accurate to say "thrilled" or "amazed" at the reactions. It's exciting to know people have loved it, and now I can make it even better.
Let's get on to the photos, shall we?

Funny Friday Photos: Coffee Makes the World Go Round
Happy Friday!
As I'm sure everyone is aware, the world has lost a phenomenal amount of talent this week, and the magic of the world feels a little dimmer without David Bowie and Alan Rickman. While I loved David Bowie from the time I was six years old (believe it or not), he really became inspirational to me in the movie Labyrinth. I think Edlark might have a little of the Goblin King inhabiting him. Here's the ballroom scene from the movie - one of my favorite parts.

Funny Friday Photos: Vlog Redux and Happy New Years!
Happy New YearsandHappy Friday!
I didn't feel like writing a post today (I guess that's what happens when you take a week off), so I decided to record a vlog, instead. It's about 5 minutes long, in which I'm uber-truthful, tell the story on how the idea for Through the Fairy Ring came to be, and (as a result) digress into a little rumination on the state of United States politics today. So, if you're here for the photos, and photos only, skip immediately to below the video. :)

Funny Friday Photos: Vini, Vidi, What?
Hey there! Happy Friday!
I am sorry this is a brief post. I have had a headache since before I woke up this morning. I know that sounds weird, but I kept waking up before the alarm clock because my head hurt, and then I'd go back to sleep for a bit. Medicine hasn't even helped. Not wanting to whine, only to explain why there aren't so many photos.
Hopefully everyone will find a photo they like, though. I promise I tried to find funny ones.
Here they are:
I got the Google Cardboard viewer from Verizon today and it's a lot of fun. If you get a chance, and there's some left, pick up a pair!
Um. Ow.
It's a Throwback Thursday photo (I've used it before)- but it's still cute.
My favorite is the Latin cat. Were you able to find at least one funny photo?

Funny Friday Photos: Surprised Turtles
Happy Friday, all!
It has been one busy week. I wore a pedometer to work, and easily reached 10,000 steps by 3:00pm every day. Which is good, actually. I'd rather be moving than sitting still. I'm hoping that squatting to shelve books on the bottom shelf and carrying stacks of books around the library counts for muscle building exercises, because I really don't want to exercise anymore when I get home.
I've been making steady progress on editing this week. Some of the problems that I worried about had surprisingly easy fixes. I think they're good fixes, too, but my perspective is shot to heck anymore. I guess I have to wait for beta reading to find out if they really are good or not.
