FlashSob
What is it about FlashMobs— no matter what they are surprising the public doing— that wells unstoppable tears in my eyes?
Is it simply the element of surprise?
Is it the creativity and life displayed?
Is it the unity of all those “in” on the secret, banding together despite age, race, sexual orientation, or height?
I think perhaps it’s all of the above.
And I love it.

I really enjoyed Root, the first in the Energy Anthology series. It has two of my favorite subjects, Shamanism, and Star Knowledge, included in the story line. Learning new concepts through story telling is, by far, the best method for me. I already have the next book downloaded. Now to find a quiet spot! [Desda Powell]

Postmark
Yesterday marked my thirty-fifth year on this planet, and it seems the first to affect me in any sort of way, though not in the way you might think.
All previous birthdays have had no effect on me… older, sure, but this is just one of my bodies— its age means nothing. It’s always been just another day really…
This one seemed to bring with it some sort of Realization.
Realization of what I’ve accomplished.
Realization of what I’ve not accomplished.
Realization of where I am, and the choices/non-choices thereof.
Realization of where I am heading.
I’m not close to my family— immediate or extended…
All I have is my family— my wife and children…
When either external or internal circumstances bring pain and suffering on any of them, I find I have a powerful Daddy-Warrior inside that quickly fills the room, spreads his wings, and does whatever is necessary to protect…
When all is set aside…
When all is lifted…
Underneath is found…
This.
So, despite all attempts and mindsets to be the free-flowing hippie lover artist author spiritual teacher healer, am I now really only…
This?
No.
I am really also This.
I have thirty-five layers
and on this mark of layer thirty-five,
I have to post:
I am me.
All of me.
Unapologetically.
My Heart would not survive any other way.
And the bottom line is still… LOVE.
Humble, gentle, pure,
LOVE
of ALL.
This is what I choose.

Karmal Apples
One simple rule of living that so, SO many still seem to overlook and not “get” is you get what you give.
If you are loving and kind and open and giving toward everyone and everything around you, what is it that will happen when the day comes you need loving and receiving?
If you are mean and self-centered and careless and unmindful toward everyone and everything around you, what is it that will happen when the day comes you need help or care?
Countless stories and movies and songs illustrate this repeatedly before our very eyes… yet how do so many still not see, not hear?
This is the meaning of karma.
It is not a punishment.
It is not a “bitchy payback.”
It is simple cause and effect.
And you are the one in control.

Delusions of Grandeur
I think we just think we are the authors and artists… we launch elaborate plans and practical jokes on ourselves, delusions of grandeur to make ourselves feel better and “in control” of things… but what is that quote about best-laid schemes?
The best laid schemes of mice and men often go awry. (Steinbeck)
But can it really be classified as “awry” when the ending order and finalized product is better than we could have schemed ourselves?
It’s all in your point of view.
With The Galaxy Healer’s Guide complete, and out in eBook and paperback formats, I intended to focus on and enjoy writing fiction for a good long while…
Buuuut… it seems the greater aspect of Me that is the Universe had/has other plans in store.
I will finish SOLAR, and have the first block of The Energy Anthology out…
But then there is more nonfiction on the way!
Unless it goes awry in its awryness!
The teacher in me will not allow the things we’ve seen over the last thirty-five years continue un-addressed…
Oh, and it’s almost my birthday!
