australia {part 3}

i taught 4 workshops over the course of 3 days at Joybells

some new faces, some 48 weeks students, and several familiar faces from my last trip out.

these ladies were absolutely delightful...fun and so free-spirited in their art.

makes my job easy as a teacher to have students so willing to stretch themselves and take risks

Joy not only was an amazingly generous host, but went above and beyond to make it a special weekend. thank you so much Joy!!

australia {part 2}

between gigs we had some time to relax...go to the beach, shop, eat...AWESOME

we spent the second half of our trip on the Sunshine Coast at Mooloolaba

and before we starting back up teaching Joy, our beautiful new host would be treating us to a very special day at the Australia Zoo

so lets talk animals...

i love animals, they are beautiful and wonderous...BUT FROM A DISTANCE!

i am a bit scared of them.

i kinda think if lets say, everyday a mob of kangaroos knocked on my door every hour on...

australia {part 1}

after 24 hours (start to finish) we made it!

1st up, hiring a car

bill did awesome driving on the opposite side of the road and car.

but he was a bit intense at first, lol!

it was about an hour and a half drive down from Brisbane to Byron Bay

when we got to jane's it was absolutely picturesque...lush, green and LOTS of ANIMAL NOISES!!

this city girl was on high alert for snakes, spiders, WATER DRAGONS!!!

i got to hang out with Jane

while Angus and bill took care of the ladies!!!
