Michael McILwee is a performer and author who has appeared in productions such as Phantom, A Chorus Line, and The Music Man. He holds a BFA from The New School and an MA from NYU. A lifelong Star Wars fan and proud nerd, Michael was born and raised in Scranton, Pennsylvania, and now divides his time between New York and Los Angeles with his dog Alfie. A Summer with Dean is his first novel.
