Incubus Reviews and Eye Candy!
Every time I see a new glowing review, I just can't help but blush and beam in joy. Thank you all so much for your continued support!
Please, if you've read and enjoyed Incubus, Book 1, I'd love a rating and review on Goodreads and/or Amazon letting me know your thoughts, and stay tuned for Book 2 this summer!
"A really intricate and cleverly witty story, which has so much packed in. The characters, the fantasy and the romance elements pull together to form such a great story. Different from the usual run of the mill, and really refreshing for it! Can't wait to read the second!" -Zoe, Goodreads Reviewer
And as an extra treat, enjoy this eye candy of the two gorgeous actors I envision as Nathan and Sasha.

And if you're not keeping up to date on Incubus at BigWorldNetwork.com, season 8 (the final season of Book 2) is running now!

Flash or Green Lantern?
First, a big thank you to Meagan Hedin for being the first to review Changeling. I've had a few really wonderful new reviews for Incubus as well, and I can't wait for readers to read the next installment.
"This is an incredible continuation of an already amazing story. We continue to follow the trials of Nathan, his brother Jim, and the irresistible incubus Sasha. I have loved reading about these three as they continue their harrowing and difficult journey together. The dynamic between the three as a whole and between the individual men grows deeper as Jim draws nearer to his Awakening and they near the completion of the fae hunt set upon them by Malak. Bonds between brother and brother, man and lover, and friends are tested and strengthened as they strive to defeat an overwhelming foe at impossible odds. The only question you'll have after reading this next fabulous installment of The Incubus Saga is: At what price, love?" - Meagan Hedin
Today I present to you the question that first stumped Nathan in book 1 when he realized Sasha's flirtations might be serious after all:

For me, it's really tough, especially if you're going with John Stewart, who became my favorite Green Lantern because of the Justice League cartoon. Both he and that universe Flash are just amazing. But I have to go with Flash. It's my whole Spider-Man thing again: I love a geek who can tell a good joke (see my husband for more examples).
I'm sure he's not the fastest man alive in bed. ;-)
What about you?

CONvergence in Minnesota, FREE eBook Days, and More Blog Tours!
Wow, have things been busy. I spent my 4th of July weekend at CONvergence in Bloomington, MN, an annual convention for fans of Science Fiction and Fantasy in all media. It was a blast!
I tended the BigWorldNetwork table in the Dealer Room with the publisher's Creative Director, Mario Hernandez, and we sold several copies of Incubus and its sequel Changeling to eager readers.

The best moment was probably the very last pair of books I sold. I wrote a personal inscription in Incubus when I signed it, but since I also had Changeling to sign, I continued a tradition I'd started on day one by simply putting "This one has more sex ;-)". The woman who bought them came back to hug me for giving her the best inscriptions ever. I love people who love to read (and who love good humor and good sex).
I also had the pleasure of meeting one of my lifelong heroes, Marina Sirtis, who played my favorite female Star Trek character, Deanna Troi, and also voiced one of my favorite characters of all time, Demona from Disney's Gargoyles. She was amazing!

Today also marks the start of my most recent FREE eBook days for Incubus, July 8-12. Right now it stands at #48 in Gay Fiction.
And on top of the con and book deals, throughout it all, my blog tour with Enchanted Book Promotions continues. Take a look at the stops you may have missed below.

Changeling FREE, Reviews and Blog Stops, Birthday Wishes, and Tattoos!
Wow, what a week! As I finish up the last of my tour with Paranormal Cravings, which ended on a wonderful interview with Pembroke Sinclair, my tour with Goddess Fish Promotions starts next week, Tuesday, August 5th, with a review from Decadent Delights. I can't wait! I'll have something new each week with that tour through the end of September.
Today I also had the pleasure of hitting 100 ratings on Incubus. Now to get Changeling up there as well!
But what you've all been waiting for, if you missed it so far this week, is Changeling's FREE eBook days. Today and tomorrow are the last days to get a copy for FREE, so make sure you head over to Amazon!
Oh, and well...I also turned 30 and showed off my birthday tattoos. I'm pretty proud.

New 5 Star Reviews for Incubus and Changeling!
The first stop on my Goddess Fish Promotions blog tour kicked off with a bang with 5 star reviews for both Incubus and Changeling from Decadent Delights.
Incubus (The Incubus Saga, #1)
Holy cow. I’m not going to go into this too much because I don’t want to give stuff away. Just let me say holy cow. I’m a fan of scifi and fantasy for a reason: the world building. Let me tell you now the world building is exceptional. Then throw in fae myths and legends, and I’m good to go. Oh, don’t forget twists and turns!
Too many times stories in the genre can turn into info dumps, but thank God that didn’t happen. Nathan and Jim Grier face danger over and over. They are twins, but you see, there is a twist. Remember the twist thing I mentioned, lol? Nathan is human and Jim is a changeling. As Jim comes into his powers, he’s in danger. Nathan is willing to do anything to save his brother. Of course they have to be careful who they trust, and the action is non-stop.
Seriously, you can’t go wrong with this book.
Changeling (The Incubus Saga #2)
OMG, just buy the book, lol. If you liked book #1, you’ll love book #2. In this, we see the characters grow closer. We are drawn deeper into the world of fae and monsters the author created. Desires are realized and barriers are broken. Again, I’m not going to go into this too much because I don’t want to spoil the plot. And what a plot.
Oh, there is a book #3 lol! ;) And ohhhh... those are some of the coolest covers I've seen in a while. I loved these, can you tell?
Head over there now to comment, check out the excerpts and promos there as well, and stay tuned for more in the coming weeks!
I'll be awarding a digital copy of both Incubus and Changeling to a randomly drawn winner via rafflecopter during the tour. Follow the tour and comment; the more you comment, the better your chances of winning.

New 4 Star Review for Changeling and Author Interview!
I'll admit, I was a little anxious about this week's Goddess Fish Promotions stop, because Carly Rose, host of Carly's Book Reviews, gave Incubus 3/5 stars when it released. Her review was thoughtful and kind even in her critiques, but it still had me wondering if Changeling would spark her interest and affection more.
So to see that she gave Changeling 4/5 stars, I'm honestly thrilled. Her comments have me excited to have her read and review the final book as well when the time comes, which I truly hope she also enjoys.
"I would recommend this book to readers who are looking to experience a detailed and complex story that reflects in fiction the reality of life. I am completely hooked on the Incubus Saga and anxiously await the final installment!"
Carly also interviews me on the brother dynamic of the story, so lots to get out of this week's tour stop for Goddess Fish Promotions! And remember, I'll be awarding a digital copy of both Incubus and Changeling to a randomly drawn winner via rafflecopter during the tour. Follow the tour and comment; the more you comment, the better your chances of winning.
Stay tuned for next week!

Why Paranormal Romance? Author Interview! And 2 New Reviews!
Well, I'm a little embarrassed, because last week I actually had two stops on my tour and I completely missed one.
PLEASE check out The Crafty Cauldron for a wonderful excerpt, author interview, and review of the two books!
"Sasha and Nathan had such chemistry it almost sparked off the page and the brothers were so close yet so far apart it almost brought tears to your eyes. Amanda definitely has caught my attention and I will be on the look out for more of her books."
Today's stop (and I swear it's just the one) was with The Scarf Princess, who I had the pleasure of having read Incubus last year, and who offers another glowing review of Changeling (A+), as well as the opportunity for a guest blog where I discuss why I think the paranormal romance genre is big and here to stay.
"Ms. Meuwissen has once again left me breathless with her dark paranormal tale imbued with flashes of sexiness and lightness and I'm greatly anticipating what comes next in this masterful series."
There's still more to come! Stay tuned for next week!

I’m a Writer Because I Want to Change Lives
This week's blog tour stop is with Tory Richards at Romance with an Attitude, where she gave me the prompt for a guest blog on why I became a writer. Well, it's not a story I tell often, a very personal event that changed my perspective on writing and life forever.
Read it HERE to find out what the catalyst was, but here's a sneak peek:
"Finally, Junior year of high school when I was trying to decide where to attend college and what I wanted to major in, I realized that my two greatest loves were writing and acting. What finally made the choice between the two for me was a comment on one of my fanfics at the time."
The reviews and ratings have really been amazing lately. Seeing how much people enjoy Changeling especially, even more than Incubus, really makes it all worthwhile, and I hope that the final installment in the trilogy is everything my readers hope for.
Stay tuned for next week! And don't forget to comment on the different blog stops for your chance to win copies of these books!

Bunny's Book Reviews - Author Interview!
This week's tour stop was with Bunny's Book Reviews, and one of my favorite interviews to date. I answer some fun ones like favorite actor, movie versions I preferred from their book counterparts, and even my most embarrassing story. Check it out!
I've had another slew of new reviews and ratings here, some also on Amazon, and want to thank all of you who are enjoying the ride. If you like Incubus, I assure you, there are other great stories at BigWorldNetwork.com, including a new gay romance series A Prince From Another World.
