Happy Friday

Have you read Raging Tempest? Book 1 in Ghost Unit features my clever assassin heroine and the soldier sent to stop her. Available now on all retailers BN Apple books Kobo Google Play Amazon

Excerpt

Rook spun her around and pushed her back against a wall. His claws slammed into the wall, pinning her in. Lifting her head, she met his gaze in defiance. “You shot me!”

Her nano suit had absorbed the blast of laser fire but she’d have a bruise to show for it on her shoulder. His gaze immediately dropped and Rook scanned her from head to toe. His lips firmed. “You have on a nano suit.”

“And you still shot me.” She refused to let that go.

Remorse darkened his gaze and he gripped her arms. “Are you hurt?”

Seraphina considered lying but didn’t. “No, it’s only sore.”

His nostrils flared. One hand reached up and pressed the exact area of her right shoulder. She winced and tried to shrug his touch off but he continued his check. “There’s no damage. Integrity held.”

She didn’t need him to inform her of that and glared. “Luckily.”

Throwback-Rydak’s Fall

I got so many emails constantly about wanting Rydak’s story when I wrote Torkel’s Chosen. Readers wondered if they’d missed a book when truthfully I just wanted to include a side character that was already in a relationship hahahahah.

Never did I expect people to want more about Rydak and Lissi. They had kids already! What more was there to know? LOL. BUT, a seed was planted and I eventually did write the story of these two. I remember being absolutely in love with the cover when my artist sent it over. There is nothing sexier than a man’s back or thighs to me 😛

Rydak was def a fan favorite before Kyele came and took over the scene 🙂 Rydak’s Fall is avail on all retailers in ebook and in print.

So many things

It’s Monday, Labor Day and back to school time in the US. How did September arrive so quickly? Feels like summer was snatched from my grip before I noticed 🙁 LOL.

I’m hard at work on my current project with edits, fixes and fact checking details. (the not so fun part after the writing) On a fun note I went to visit the Sagamore Distillery which is always a good time with friends.

Last sneak peek #4-Knowing Her

Happy friday, here’s the sneak peek of my upcoming book with Joni and Kyele’s daughter Jaycie and one of the Ghost Unit guys 🙂 amazon BN kobo apple books google play (coming soon)

“Four minutes,” she updated as the striker began to wobble and vibrate harder.

“We have you onscreen, Raptor One. The outside runway has been cleared for your emergency landing.”

Relief shuddered through her. She adjusted her course for the wide expanse behind the Jutak building. “Affirmative grou—”

The screen on her panel went dark and the striker dropped. Heart in her throat, Jaycie hit the back up system reboot button. Nothing. She tapped the toe controls but the striker continued its rapid descent.

“I’ve lost power, ground control. I repeat, I’ve lost all power.”

TV shows

One of the things to come out of the pandemic is my binge watching tv and movies. I’m pretty sure I watched more shows over the last 2 1/2 year than I have in the last 10. I have to admit, I like the whole bingeing concept and no commercials from streaming 🙂

It’s so addicting! LOL. The lastest show I finished is Partner Track on netflix. A group of lawyer friends at a law firm and the shenanigans that come about with their family, relationships and work stuff. Def enjoyed and hoping for a season 2.

Now back to writing.

Summer to Fall

Summer came and went too fast. If it wasn’t soaring heat waves, it was torrential down pours. Now it’s over and fall is around the corner. I am sad. LOL. I love the summer. I love being outdoors and nothing about the cold seasons inspire with the exception of Christmas.

Oh, and pumpkin spice! I have succombed to the marketing and become a pumpkin spice fan. So that’s two things I like about the upcoming season.

What about you readers? Do you enjoy the fall? Are you a pumpkin spice person?
