Musical Insipration for ALIVE
While writing ALIVE there were two main songs that I listened to that inspired me the whole way through.
This first one, Zombie by Family Force Five, inspired my zombies. Now, not all of the characteristics in this song describe my zombies. (If you want to know more about my zombies, check out this post.)
I was so freakin' addicted to this song (I still am). It is SUPER badass! So check it out!
This next one, Meet You There by Busted, inspired Gage and Eve's love story. This song is very special to me. It was popular when I was thirteen and I totally fangirled and loved it. I came back across it about a year ago and the story of Gage and Eve was born. It is and probably always will be one of my favorite songs.

My Itchy Trigger Finger=It's Early Release Day!!!
So here's the DEAL. I am officially impatient. (Also, Kenya Wright is an enabler, who also said I should do it.)
ALIVE wasn't supposed to release until next Friday…but then I started getting nervous, especially since this is my first time to self-publish. I kept thinking… What if I put it up and it doesn't go up on time? What if Amazon hates it and won't publish it? What about this? What about that? What if the zombies come before then?… You know… totally normal things to think, right?
With all of my craziness aside…I'm FREAKIN' pumped to say that ALIVE is live on Amazon and Smashwords!!!

ALIVE: Meet My Zombies
There are so many Post-Apocalyptic books out these days that I wanted to do a special post where I talk about the zombies that plague my mind, and made it onto the pages of Alive.
But first, check out this awesome art created by JN Sheats for ALIVE. She captured the image in my head perfectly! She is so kickass! Check her out on her Website & Facebook.
I made a list of five random things to know about my zombies!
1. Black shit oozes from all of their orfices. (not actual shit, that would be too gross, even for me.) Kind of like this guy. Great dental hygiene, eh?
2. They don't just eat brains. My undead don't give crap whether they are eating a brain, an eyeball, or a nut sack. If it has fresh blood rushing through it, they'll eat it.
3. No brain, no game. The best way to kill one of my zombies is to blow its brains out. Don't have a gun? No problem! Stomping on their head repeatedly works just as well. (**Not recommended for pregnant women or those with high blood pressure)
4. If you get bit, you're fucked. I stayed pretty traditional with this one, cause let's be honest, ain't nothin' nastier than a mouth, especially one that has black shit oozing from it.
5. They smell like rotten bleach. Just when you thought you liked how clean bleach made everything smell.

ALIVE Book Trailer!
Okay, so today I got a wild hair and decided to attempt making a book trailer for ALIVE. Keep in mind, I didn't expect to be successful AT ALL. But it turns out that I can be kind of computer savvy (which means I called my computer a mother offer at least 17 times in the process).
So here it is! It isn't perfect, but I ended up getting annoyed after working on it all day.

Good News About ALIVE--ARCs AVAILABLE!
AWESOME news y'all! (or well, it's awesome to me). I'm moving up the release date for ALIVE (Crave, #1)! I had originally planned to release the novel on January 3rd...but then I got to thinking...waiting is for SUCKERS! So, I will be releasing it on Friday, November 22! I am so pumped about this. I really loved writing this book and I can't wait for everyone to check it out.

Drowning in Rapture: New Adult Erotic Romance
Hey y'all! Soo I've been having some issues when it comes to inspiration in my writing (I blame college for sucking the life out of me, lol). I was having a lot of trouble with my WIP so I decided to step out of my box a little and write something totally different for me. I had a lot of fun writing this novella. It is my first time to write in 1st person (I usually write in 3rd person). This is also probably the darkest thing I've written, in my opinion. I don't have a date nailed down on when I'm to release it, but be looking for it sometime this December.
