NPR: Dukes in Historical Romance
My husband (of all people!) alerted me to this NPR story about the preponderance of dukes in historical romance. It's a fun piece—earls are apparently the equivalent of a "reality show cast member"—so be sure to check it out if you're a fan of dangerous dukes, dastardly dukes, naughty dukes
