Music is Inspiration
I thought we might do something a bit different. I can't do even the most menial tasks without my iPod plugged into my ears... what about you?
Many writers, myself included, like to write with music in the background. Oftentimes, I choose music that helps influence the mood of what I'm writing. Generally, I'm a hard rock sort of girl. For Bitter Black Kiss, I listened to a lot of dance and hip hop too.
In the opening scene of Bitter Black Kiss Nicole enters the nightclub where she works and sees Brody in the DJ booth, moving to the music. At some point, she finds herself in the booth with him, dancing close. She realizes her attraction to him and I believe this song was playing while I wrote about it.
I don't want to give away too much of the book if you haven't read it yet, so I'll just post a few of my musical inspirations and let you decide where they fit in.

Interview with Ciara Knight - author of The Curse of Gremdon
