Sinful Siren Hop and Giveaway

Our favorite heroes require a special kind of heroine to make the perfect match. These women are smart, sexy, fierce and sometimes quite sinful. Today, I'd love to introduce you to 4 of my favorite sinful sirens.

Nicole Riley from Bitter Black Kiss.     Nicole Riley lost not only her job, but part of her humanity when a concert in L.A., fails catastrophically and the band attacks a rival werewolf pack. Now, Nicky keeps her "inner beast" subdued by taking wolfsbane and refuses to become a monster.  Emily Cross from Of A Darker Nature. With just one touch, Emily can read the memories of the deceased. Working at a funeral home might not be the logical choice, but for Emily, it is a natural one. When she is attacked, the creatures she once thought were only folklore become all too real. Just as she’s about to be drained of life, the cadaver on the next table rises and fights them off. Feeling a connection to the man who saved her life, she makes it her mission to find him.  Alexandra Chandler from Marked Souls.  Alex can not only summon demons, she can destroy them as well. Unfortunately, her unique gift has garnered the attention of Erielnael, one of the most powerful demons in the Netherworld. He wants the raw power Alex holds. This demon is unlike any other she’s ever gone up against. When she narrowly escapes him, he puts a price on her head and his denizens will stop at nothing to please their master. Micah Munroe from Light the Shadows.  You only get one chance at life, then you die. The game’s over, no second chances.  But she was never one to follow the rules.
In a strange twist of fate, a woman flees purgatory only to jump into a newly vacated body. When she wakes in the hospital, she has a brand new life and a whole lot of unanswered questions.  Now she’s Micah Munroe, a real estate agent with broken memories of the messed up life she once lived.

For a chance to win an eBook of any one of my novels, please leave a comment telling me which heroine you'd most like to meet. Please be sure to leave a working email. A winner will be chosen via rafflecopter.

A Beautiful Lie by Tyler Robbins

On the blog today, I have the latest from fellow Evernight author, Tyler Robbins.
Be sure to visit Tyler's blog and fan page. :)

  Blurb:
Jesse Reagan has had more than his share of tragedy, and he may have been dealt another blow when, once again, cancer threatens the sister who raised him. Faced with the possibility of being left behind, Jesse vows to care for her young son, though he’s not convinced he can. When Trip Cantrell returns to town, he’s blindsided the instant he’s reunited with his kid brother’s lifelong friend, Jesse. His inability to find happiness in the years he’s been gone, suddenly makes sense. Love’s been waiting at home all along.Life begins to look promising, except for the fact that neither have come out of the closet publicly, and that’s not even their biggest problem. Someone has a secret so shocking they may never find a way past it. Will they be accepted in their small Texas town, or will secrets, lies, and the threat of tragedy destroy everything?
Some small towns just aren’t meant to hold big secrets.

Excerpt
Trip could feel the tension radiating from the other man. Following his instincts, he gripped Jesse’s shoulder and squeezed. “You’re not alone you know. If you ever want to talk or need help with anything, let me know.”Jesse turned his head, shocking the hell out of Trip by leaning in to where Trip held his shoulder, slightly brushing his cheek against Trip’s fingers.Trip tightened his grip, savoring the feel of Jesse’s skin touching his. Was he imagining it?Jesse slowly lifted his chin as his green eyes, darkening by the second, settled on Trip.Trip’s heart raced, and his hardening c**k pressed against the zipper of his jeans. Was this really happening? He inched closer, inhaling deep, losing himself in the aroma of Jesse’s quite memorable cologne. He swallowed hard, his lips tingling at the thought of Jesse’s mouth on his.Jesse’s chest rose and fell, his breathing grew louder by the second, infiltrating Trip’s mind until his own breaths caught up, matching Jesse’s pants breath for heated breath. Jesse’s eyelids lowered to half-mast, his desire obvious as f**k. Trip reacted on instinct alone, no thinking, just doing. He pulled Jesse closer until their lips were centimeters apart. Jesse’s exhales warmed Trip’s skin. The night went silent the instant Jesse’s soft lips grazed Trip’s.Seconds felt like hours until Trip engulfed Jesse’s mouth all together. With hungry sweeps, Trip dove deeper, sucking, and tangling his tongue with Jesse’s. He cupped the back of Jesse’s neck, and held on as their mouths warred for dominance over the other. Trip gasped when Jesse’s wandering hand discovered his erection through his jeans. “F**k.” Hot air poured over Trip’s neck as Jesse’s kisses blanketed his throat. “I’ve wanted to do that all night.” Trip splayed his fingers through Jesse’s silky, black hair, hoping against hope Jesse would move his mouth lower.Jesse fumbled with the buttons on Trip’s shirt, and plucked the first few open. He worked his way across Trip’s chest, circling Trip’s erect nipples with his warm, wet tongue. “Shit, Jesse.” Trip struggled to catch his breath. Everything was so intense, moved so fast, Trip could hardly tell if it was real.             He leaned Jesse back, seizing the few stolen moments he hoped were actually happening. His kisses grew heavier, and his need increased. He’d take it as far as Jesse would let him. He had no choice. Please let this be real.

The Billionaire's Unwanted Virgin by Doris O'Connor

Michelle: I'd like to start by saying that I'm delighted to have you here today, Doris! The book looks amazing. Please tell me how you came up with the idea for The Billionaire's Unwanted Virgin.

Doris: Thanks so much for having me here today, Michelle. The Billionaire's Unwanted Virgin was one of those stories that took on a life of its own. I read a newspaper article about a virgin who auctioned off her virginity and it got me pondering. It wasn't until I had a chat with one of my crit group partners though, and she told me in no uncertain terms to write the story, that the idea solidified. I started off by searching Pinterest for inspiration and slowly the story came to me. You can check it out here. http://pinterest.com/dorisoconnor/the-billionaires-unwanted-virgin/
Once I started writing there was no stopping me. I set off trying to keep the heat level lower, but Lakota soon cured me off that notion. These two sizzle, and when he gets her down the aisle, so to speak, all gloves are off… And boy were their sex scenes fun to write ;-) Michelle: LOL Yes, they sure are!
Doris: Needless to say, as always with my stories, you also get a love story—one that made me cry more than once when I was writing. I hope the readers will enjoy reading The Billionaire's Unwanted Virgin as much as I enjoyed writing it.
Michelle: That's fascinating, Doris. The making of The Billionaire's Unwanted Virgin is almost as exciting as the book itself! ;)  Alright, dear readers,  I think you'll agree that this one is a MUST read.

Blurb:
Lay back and think of England, she could do this. It was only sex, after all. Auctioning off her virginity was the easy part—going through with it not so easy.  When Alice realizes who has acquired her, keeping her emotions out of the deal seems an impossible task.
Self-made billionaire Lakota, Lance Kemnay has no time for women, let alone one, who would sell her virginity to the highest bidder. Ever practical, however, he sees in Alice a solution to his immediate need for a wife. The emotions she stirs in him are just lust, and lust can be dealt with. As they connect emotionally and physically, his resolve to keep his heart aloof is tested beyond limits.
Can he trust his tender feelings, or has he been taken for a fool by the one woman he thought he could trust? Domestic goddess she is not. There is always something better to do after all, like working on the latest manuscript and trying not to scare the locals even more than usual by talking out loud to the voices in her head. Her characters tend to be pretty insistent to get their stories told, and you will find Doris burning the midnight oil on a regular basis. Only time to get any peace and quiet and besides, sleep is for wimps. She likes to spin sensual, sassy, and sexy tales involving alpha heroes to die for, and heroines who give as good as they get. From contemporary to paranormal, BDSM to F/F, and Ménage, haunting love stories are guaranteed. STALKING LINKS:                                   Website Blog Twitter  Facebook Pinterest  Evernight Publishing AmazonAll Romance E-Books BookStrandBarnes&Noble

Cameron's Quest by Lorraine Nelson

Today we have Lorraine Nelson here to share a bit about her newest novel.

Cameron Manning has never forgotten his first love. Of Irish descent, he met red-haired, fiery tempered Lacey Kerrigan in England, but her family returns to Irelandunexpectedly and they haven’t any means of contact. He finds her and receives the surprise of his life.
Lacey is thrilled to see Cameron, but is afraid of being hurt again. She keeps her distance and rebuffs his advances while he’s in Ireland, certain that a long distance affair will never work. But when tickets arrive for her to visit his home in Canada, she realizes his love is true and is willing to give them a second chance.
Fate intervenes when they find a murdered man on Cameron’s back deck. All evidence points to Cameron as the killer. Can their reawakened love survive the stress of a murder investigation? Or will it be the catalyst that drives them apart forever? BLURB:
“I’m glad you came, Lacey.”
“So am I, Cameron. I’m also sorry I was such a beast to you in Ireland.”
“It’s all right, love. You’re here now. We’ll make the most of it and get to know each other again. Okay?”
She pulled away, just a little, and looked up at him. “Yes, I’d like that.”
Cam couldn’t resist her upturned lips, so full, so inviting. He leaned down for a kiss, just a quick brushing of lips. It wasn’t enough, but he didn’t want to scare her off. “Good night, Lacey. Sleep well.”
One hand snaked behind his head to pull him closer as she returned the kiss, this time a gentle meeting of mouths, a promise.
“Good night, Cam.”
He watched as she turned and headed up the curving staircase. At the top, he was rewarded as she stopped and blew him another kiss before she entered the bedroom and closed the door.
Hope filled his heart near to bursting. It was going to be a long, lonely night, but he took comfort in knowing that she was under his roof…maybe for a good long time. He found himself humming a few bars of “I Feel Good” as he closed the house up for the night, almost dancing his way to the den.

Book Boyfriend Blog Hop

 Book Boyfriends...
They can be strong and sexy, dark and dangerous, rebellious and reckless or cute and quirky. We love to fall in love with these irresistable heroes and EVERNIGHT PUBLISHING has them all.
The authors at Evernight invite you to a special speed date challenge. 50 heroes in 7 days! Are you up for the challenge?
Pull up a chair and get to know every single one. Let me introduce you to my hero... James Sullivan.
I get to the interview first. James Sullivan agreed to meet in a coffee shop at one of the battered tables, all the way in the back.

James appears out of nowhere, approaching without a sound and with no warning. It scares the hell out of me. As soon as I can breathe easily again, my spine stiffens.  I don't know if it's out of fear or awe. Maybe both. He is Death's right hand and he's drop dead gorgeous!

Hi. Why don’t you tell us a little bit about yourself? My name is James Sullivan, but I prefer Sully. I am a Reaper. Man, this feels like some sort of support group meeting intro. *laughs* I’m not really into all this socializing crap, so bear with me here.People want to know stuff about you, Sully. Let’s start with your job. I work for Death, or Azrael. He’s sort of a dick. *grins* He sits in his office and scribbles names into a book 24/7. He seldom leaves and if he does, he acts like the world might end. Death has stacks of these books all over his office. It’s a hoarder’s wet dream. Why are the books important? Does Azrael give the book to you to check off the names like an assignment? No. As he writes it, the name forms in my mind. I usually get a time and method too. Most people would probably think of this as a morbid or maybe sick kind of job, but I enjoy it. Sometimes, I even get creative with how I mark my target.Your target? Oh, you mean the souls you have to reap?Yeah, doll, the souls. *twirls a short handled scythe (sickle) that has suddenly appeared in his hand* I don’t actually get to do the method of death that Azrael has chosen. For instance, if someone is going to be stabbed to death, I don’t get to plunge the blade in. *smirks* That’s probably a good thing. *the weapon disappears* All it takes is a touch. Once they’ve passed, a door appears and I do whatever it takes to get their spirit through where a guide is waiting to take them to the next journey.Oh. Um, just a touch? That’s it?Don’t worry, doll. It’s not your time … yet. I can touch you all I want and it won’t affect you if it’s not your time to move on.Ah, that’s a relief. What happens if the spirit doesn’t go through the doorway?Instead of going to limbo to wait for a guide to lead them to their heaven or whatever, they stay on this side. They become what I call a shadow.A shadow? Is that like a poltergeist or something?*Laughs* Or something. If a spirit stays on this side, they become lonely, angry. Vengeful. Suffice it to say they cause a lot of trouble.Do you have a pretty high success rate? I mean, do very many people refuse to pass over?Hmm, I guess you could say very few shadows have resulted from my reaping. I give them a choice, but if they don’t make the right one, I push them through to the other side. I don’t have time to fuck around with them.I heard through the grapevine that there might be someone who came back from the other side, from limbo. That’s not possible. The rumor is that someone jumped into a vacant body. How the heck does that happen? It’s not supposed to. Rest assured, I will track her down and send her back to where she belongs. *a frown darkens his features and seems almost sinister* Wow. Let’s lighten it up a bit. What do you do for fun?Talk to pretty girls. *winks* Actually, I build and design custom motorcycles. Iron Head Customs is a small shop, but it breaks the monotony. Fancy taking me for a ride? Sure, doll. Let’s go. Sully insists on paying for my coffee then we head outside to where he’s parked his bike. It’s a pretty thing, pearly silver with lots of chrome. A giddy rush sweeps over me as I watch him throw a long leg over the saddle then motion for me to climb on.
