Starting 2019 with a bang!

If you follow me on social media you probably know that 2018 ended with a big rain-on-your-parade holiday fizzle. I've had some pretty serious health problems that have sidelined me, but I'm not going to let them keep me down.

I'm flying to San Francisco today to see friends before heading up to the LA Times Festival of Books later in the week. Thanksgiving is behind us and we're coming up on that holiday sweet spot--early enough in the season we're still feeling warm and fuzzy, before we've been exhausted by holiday shopping and baking and what can seem like an endless parade of parties and family visits.

WIP Wednesday: Christmas in June

If you follow me on Facebook you know I've been in a self-imposed holiday music hell for the last week or so as I finished up my Dreamspinner Press Advent submission. I'd been working on it on and off for months and found I needed to buckle down and focus or I'd never make the deadline.

My kids were beyond tired of Christmas pop, so they were thrilled when I picked them up from camp yesterday blasting the Hamilton soundtrack. That's right, my Advent draft is finished!
