Cover reveal for The Buy-Out

I'm thrilled to finally be able to share the cover for my upcoming book with you! Lou Harper at Dreamspinner Press did an amazing job putting it together--I really couldn't be happier! Release date TBA.

The excerpt:

All Parker Anderson has ever wanted is to take over for his father
as CEO of Anderson Industries when his father retires. But when his
father is ready to leave the company, it isn't Parker he's planning
to pass the reins to. Instead, he plans to sell the company,
jeopardizing not only Parker's job but hundreds of others. Enter
Mason Pike, the company's resident IT guru. He and Parker start a
flirtation that takes them from co-workers to co-conspirators as they
plan to forcibly buy-out Anderson Industries out from under Parker's
father. Their budding romance has to be put on hold while they focus
on the buy-out, but that doesn't stop them from flirting and teasing
each other to distraction during the process. And when their master
buy-out plan ends, no one can keep them apart.

New novella on the way!

I don't have a release date yet, but Dreamspinner Press will be publishing my latest novella sometime this year! The story follows corporate bigwig Parker Anderson and computer genius Mason Pike as they navigate a blooming romance while trying to manage a business deal that will change both of their careers forever. Be on the look-out for the official blurb and publication date, which I'll post as soon as I can.

Traditions from the Heart is now available for purchase!

Traditions from the Heart by Bru Baker eBook

My first ebook, Traditions from the Heart, a Christmas-themed short novella, was released on Dec. 1! The ebook is part of Dreamspinner Press' Christmas Anthology, Evergreen, and can be purchased from Dreamspinner,  Amazon or Barnes and Noble.

I'm so excited to be able to share this fluffy (and smutty) Christmas
story with readers, and I hope that you'll love reading it as much as I
loved writing it. AllRomanceEbooks gave it a four our of five flame
rating on its heat index, so it's sure to keep you warm on a cold
winter's night!

Now through Dec. 25, I'm offering an incentive for readers who review or rate the book. Leave a comment in my feedback section (or drop me an email at bru@bru-baker.com) with a link to your rating or review and I'll send you a personalized holiday ecard with a (PG) slashy scene drawn by yours truly. I'm looking for honest ratings and reviews here--even if you didn't love it, I'll still send you the e-card if you drop me the link!

You can rate the book on Amazon, Goodreads, Dreamspinner  and Barnes and Noble or on any site of your choice to be eligible for the e-card. Just be sure to send me the link!

Dreamspinner Press has been amazing though the whole publishing process, and I'm excited to continue working with the awesome editors there on new projects in the future. I have a few mostly finished manuscripts that are just awaiting a final polish before being submitted to Dreamspinner's editorial team. Sign up for my email list to be notified when new releases come out!

Coming off sabbatical

Hey folks! You may  have noticed my absence from the M/M writing community for the last few months. I took a bit of a sabbatical to work on some non-M/M writing endeavors, but I'm back now. (And best of all, I bring treats! Check out the new offering in the Free Fiction section!)

I'm also working on publishing the last few Free Fiction pieces as free ebooks, so if you didn't grab a copy when they were up on this site, no worries. You'll have another go at them soon!

As always, you can find me on Twitter for regular updates about writing projects, fanfiction and daily life, which can get pretty crazy with a freelance career and two kiddos under 6. I also use the site's email list to keep people in the loop on Free Fiction offerings and other site news, so be sure to sign up for that if you're interested. Have a question or a comment? Shoot me a message on the Feedback page.

Site launch

Today's the day - the site's going live! Thank you to those who helped me get to this point. My husband laughingly called you my "Focus Group", and you really were. I'll still be doing a bit of work on the graphics and layout, but what website isn't a work in progress? That's the beauty of non-static media, isn't it?
So welcome to those who are coming here from my Live Journal and Twitter, and a big hello to those of you who may stumble across me otherwise. I hope you'll stay awhile and find something you like here!
