It's A Wonderful Undead Life
I just received a wonderful review from Crystal Newman of Romancing the Book.
Review: I love when I get a book and it’s from a new author that I have never read before. I like to read books by authors that are new to me. I can’t wait to read something different and see how they bring their characters to life.
I loved reading about Cailey and Gabriel. The way that she was turned into a vampire isn’t the way I would want. She gets it made up to her though. I just got so into this book and I didn’t want to put it down. I connected with the characters and didn’t want to let them go.
The author did a great job with her research. All the technical blood stuff was a little over my head. I could just pretend that I knew what they were saying. That way I would look smarter. Maybe I will memorize some of it and freak some people out with my knowledge.
I liked the way that the story was written and I had a easy time keeping up with all the excitement. Even though Cailey and Gabriel bumped heads and didn’t always agree. I had some laughs because it was just funny. That’s the relationship that I have with my husband and I love it when I read a book that makes me think of that. I don’t feel so weird.
I really enjoyed the different languages in the book. When you cuss in Russian it really does sound exotic. I enjoyed this book from the first time I picked it up until I had to put it down because I had reached the last page. I am hoping that this will become a series. I want to know more about Gabriel’s siblings and his father.
I just want to say that I recommend this book to anyone that loves vampires and loves a great love story with some exotic languages.

It's A Wonderful Undead LIfe
What is our fascination with vampires? That they live secretively? Are immortal? Shadows of the night who stalk our deepest fears? They tantalize us, scare us, and yet we are drawn.

It's A Wonderful Undead Life
I have been a phlebotomist for 10 years and the idea for my book came about as I took blood samples from patients. I would often hear vampire comments and jokes. This turned into the idea of a night shift phlebotomist being partially turned into a vampire. Without the help of a mentor, she turns to the lab to find the blood she craves.

It has been exciting having my first book, It's a Wonderful Undead Life, published. I really enjoy hearing from everyone who has read it.
Thanks again to Jenn Shanks Pray for her wonderful review of 5 chocolate dipped strawberries. Her kind words made all the work worthwhile.
Thanks also to all who have asked about the sequel. I'm currently working on Vampire in the Scrying Glass which relates Morgan and Rafe's story.
