It's A Wonderful Undead Life
What happens when you pray for an angel and get a vampire instead?
You might say what happens to Cailey is the ultimate April fools joke though it happens in December. In a drunken stupor she thinks an angel has arrived to help her and he turns out to be a sociopathic vampire and traitor to his Nosferatu kind.

It's A Wonderful Undead Life
There comes a time when the unthinkable happens. Yesterday I wrote all day and made quite a bit of progress on my WIP, Vampire in the Scrying Glass. Like a good girl, I periodically saved my work and never knew anything was amiss.
Last night as I went to save and close down the flashdrive program I read the most upsetting words. Error. Data cannot be saved. Document must shut down and data will not be saved.
They were right. I've cried and begged but the computer will not spit back out all the words I wrote. Sad times.
Today I will try to recreate all I wrote yesterday. Perhaps it will turn out even better.

It's A Wonderful Undead Life
Since I've started writing full time and living with vampires in my head - my hours have changed. I've turned into a night owl and stay up most of the night. I've decided as long as I still have a reflection, I'm OK.
Writing does take over one's life. My computer had a glitch yesterday and I was as upset as if a loved one was in intensive care. The computer is my portal (no patience for pen and paper) to the fantasyland in my head. Without it, I feel as if my arm has been chopped off.
Thank goodness the computer has responded to treatment and a full recovery looks probable.
