Meet Morgana!

It's exactly one week until Legend's Fall will be out and about for you to read. In the mean time I thought I would give you a little taste of a character I don't have scheduled on the blog tour.

This is Morgana:

Beautiful, selfish, and deadly. Morgana does what she wants, when she wants. Her motivations are keeping the fairie realm safe and having fun. Her fairie mound is on Avalon, or rather within it, and she likes her privacy. She is a key character, if only for a few minutes, in Legend' Fall.

Keep her face in your mind because we will see her in future stories :)

15 DAYS!

Hola Readers,

I am in shock and awe that in 15 days Legend's Fall will be unleashed upon the world for all to see. This excites and terrifies me.

(not my pic)
While I appreciate those who read my short stories, and I work hard on them, I feel like they aren't quite long enough for me to put my entire self into. Legend's Fall however is signifigantly longer than my shorts and I have every single bit of me in that story. This is the story I've wanted to write since I was a little girl (okay maybe a little more PG) and I love these characters so much.
So...all of that being said. I am incredibly happy people have the opportunity to fall in love with the characters I am also ridiculously nervous because well...you might hate it. While I will respect that and applaud you for reading my book even if you hated it...I will still be sad, of course.
I'm just putting myself out there and as a reader I never thought about it from this side of things. If I didn't like a book I would tell the world why I hated it, not truly understanding the depths of themselves authors put into everything they write. Now, I know.

My Promise to you...

Dear Reviewers,

Here is my promise to you. I will NEVER ever attack you in anyway shape or form...well unless you come to my house and try to kill me, then you are SOL. I will respect your reviewing/writing voice no matter how snarky or tame it may be.

I was a reviewer for a very long time and I understand completely about the freedoms of voicing your thoughts about what you read and I WANT THAT. I want that. I want your complete and total honesty...rip my damn book to shreds if need be...so I can build it better next time.

I respect you and your time and appreciate every single word of my books you read, no matter how you feel about them.

As long as you don't start calling me fat or a ginger (I do have a soul damn it) then everything is cool.

:)

XOXO
Monica

Blog Tour Hosts Needed!

Hola!

I am currently seeking blog tour hosts for my upcoming blog tour. The book is titled Legend's Fall and it's a paranormal romance. Here is the blurb/Goodreads Link:

Legend states when King Arthur is needed most he will return. What if the legends are wrong?

Maggie Sanders gave six years and two feet of her now scarred and twisted body to the United States Army. She received a thank you note and a discharge in return. Effectively booted to the curb Maggie tries to pick up the piece of her life until her revival is interrupted by one smoking hot immortal.

Arthur Pendragon, legendary King and military leader, has been trapped on the mythical island of Avalon for 1500 years. When he is thrust from captivity to the modern world he has to fight to stay there. Too bad for him, she has more fight than he anticipates. With the help of Maggie and a teenage Merlin, Arthur set outs to end his torture and free the rest of his comrades from imprisonment.
I am doing a blog tour from the release date: 26 April 2013 for two to three weeks, depending on the number of blogs interested. MIA

Hola Readers,

Sorry for absence for so long. I've been busy is an understatement. For those who don't know I go to school full time, work full time, and take care of a five month old, alone...in addition to writing. So...we hit the teething stage and life has been pretty rough.

Anyway, I wanted to update anyone who actually reads my website on what I've been doing. I signed a contract with Crimson Romance last month to write an erotic version of The Count of Monte Cristo, UNABRIDGED...so if you know how big this thing is you can see how monumental a task I have undertaken.

In addition I just finished copy edits for Legend's Fall (*squeee*) and I was offered a new contract for a series of contemporary novellas with Breathess Press. Furthermore, I also had a piece accepted with an anthology for Ravenous Romance. So..for those keeping score at home:

Legend's Fall (Breathless Press - Releases April 26th)
The Midnight Masquerade (Decadent Publishing) - Edge Short
Kiss and Tell (Breathless Press) Novella
How to Train Your Master Vampire (Ravenous Romance) Antho Short
Undergroud Temptation (Breathless Press) Antho Short
The Count of Monte Cristo: The Wild and Wanton Edition (Crimson Romance)

*hugs and happy thought for everyone*

Valentine's Blog Hop

Hello Everyone,

I'm so glad you are taking the time to drop in and read my Valentine's Post. Now, Valentine's Day has been known for love, lust, and romance. Well, sadly my boyfriend and I broke up over the weekend so I am not in the best shape to talk about love and romance for Valentine's Day. So, I'm going to talk to you about spending Valentine's Day alone. I am going to talk to you about the best love: loving yourself.

So many people think they should only spent time loving themselves on their birthday, or not at all. How about this Valentine's Day you go out and get yourself some flowers or chocolate. Maybe slip into something comfortable, something that makes you feel sexy.

Go home and light a candle, make something delicious and decadent for dinner, sit down and revel in that meal -- when was the last time you ate a meal and thoroughly focused on your food? Spend Valentine's Day loving every second of your life, spend it comforting yourself, and enjoying spending time alone.

I know many of you out there have loved ones to spend Valentine's Day with, maybe a romantic partner or just family. Make sure they know you love them, give you best friend, your sister, your uncle, your crazy aunt, a valentine. Spend the day loving yourself and loving those in your life.

Now...as I do write a lot about lust I'll share a little naughty with you as well. Making love to yourself is also an acceptable course for the evening. I know society thinks it's taboo and that no good upstanding woman is going to talk about it. There are less social qualms about men taking care of themselves but that is a post for another day. So, after that delicious meal curl up with a sexy novel and take care of your business. Truly dedicate yourself to love on Valentine's Day in all it's forms for all those you love, including yourself.

I also want to say thank you to JoLynne for inviting me to the blog hop. Make sure to stop at the other blogs for the week.
