What Am I Up To?

Hola!

Sorry it's been awhile since I posted, life has recently decided to fight against me. I am now back on top and ready to continue. I recently turned in the first volume of The Count of Monte Cristo Wild and Wanton Edition and I am about to turn in the second (only 3 more to go). I should also have a cover soon.

I addition, I am waiting on edits for my next Breathless Press release Kiss and Tell. From there I have a few anthology stories coming out and I am currently outlining and beginning Kiss and Tell book two -- tentatively titled: Hit and Run and then still further Avalon book two tentatively titled: Betrayal's Redemption.

I hope you are all having a great day and that your summer season is beginning wonderfully! :)

Blog Tour Underway!

Legend states when King Arthur is needed most he will return. What if the legends are wrong?

Maggie Sanders gave six years and two feet of her now scarred and twisted body to the United States Army. She received a thank you note and a discharge in return. Effectively booted to the curb Maggie tries to pick up the piece of her life until her revival is interrupted by one smoking hot immortal.

Arthur Pendragon, legendary King and military leader, has been trapped on the mythical island of Avalon for 1500 years. When he is thrust from captivity to the modern world he has to fight to stay there. Too bad for him, she has more fight than he anticipates. With the help of Maggie and a teenage Merlin, Arthur set outs to end his torture and free the rest of his comrades from imprisonment.
At each of these stops there will be a giveaway for a swag pack. In each swag pack will be a postcard. If you win the swag pack with the phrase "What if legends are wrong?" then you will win an ereader or GC!! So go by all the stops and enter as often as you can until mid-May.

Meet Lancelot

This picture belongs HERE.Usually in Arthurian Legend Lancelot is easy to figure out. He loves his King, his King's woman, and his "pure" ideals about how a knight should be. My Lancelot however, is not that easy to figure out. If you haven't figured it out yet, my Lance has one motivation: Gwen. He lives and breathes for her and without her he is nothing.
Fast forward 1500 years and image living your life always at arms length from the one you love. How bitter would you be? Now Lance is a bit more understandable. He isn't so much of a villan as a person driven mad by the longings for something he knows he needs but can never seem to get.
Lancelot is my least favorite character in Arthurian legend, next being Gwen. Both of them betrayed Arthur and even as an adult who has been reading these stories for 15 years, I can't forgive them. Lancelot and Gwen's book with be up next in the Avalon series, titled: Betrayal's Redemption.

Leave a comment below, tell me how you feel about Lancelot and leave your email to win today's swag pack!

XOXO

Good Morning Everyone

Last night I hosted a dinner for family and friends to celebrate the release of Legend's Fall and I will tell you what happened. Well, we went to the Cheesecake Factory, which was A-MAZ-ING...tiramisu cheesecake all the way. Oh so I stopped on the way home for a bottle of wine, intent on curling up with  Edmond Dantes for the evening but when I got my wine the guy at the wine place asked me if I was celebrating (I assume since I was all dressed up) and I told him why and he asked me where if was published etc and I told him it's only available in ebook...and he straight up, to my face, told me that didn't count...

Riddle me this, how does years of work that finally gets picked as good enough to be be published by someone else not count as an accomplishment once complete, no matter if it's an ebook or a print book or dang audio book...who cares. I took the time to write a book and it was published. I am a published author.

I AM A PUBLISHED AUTHOR. Of course, I am a woman of convictions and I know where I stand, I politely smiled, grabbed my wine, and left but the whole conversation left a sour taste in my mouth that people would think this way, especially with how much the market as evolved since even I started publishing in it.

*climbs off soap box*

Now, I want to tell you all thank you for taking the time to read my blog, my books, and for your support my dreams. Now...comment below and win a swag pack that may have a golden ticket (or a postcard with "What if legends are wrong?" ... if you do...you win an ereader or giftcard!!

18 to enter. Leave a comment with email below.

Have a great weekend everyone!

XOXO
