I am currently putting the finishing touches on my first novel- Warriors at the gates: A diary of evil. My purpose for joining goodreads is to socialize with other like minded people, I love readers, I love writers. I'm a big sci-fi/action fan but my interest goes well beyond those genre's. If its a good story, I want to read it. I can watch movies like (the matrix-empire strikes back-casablanca-good will hunting and gladiator) all day long, i do have varied interest.

I like exercising, sports and chess, and I support major and self published writers alike. I have a film background, have written a few short screenplays and done some acting. If you are in need of some advice or just want to chat, feel free to drop me a line.

In the planning stages I work out what the theme and goals are, so the characters always have something to do. Its just a matter of me creating scenarios that keeps the characters from getting what they want. If they want the apple in the tree, i'll put thorns, rain and snow, and another person who will do anything for that apple, and if they get close to it, my character better pray I don't make the apple poisonous or half rotten. We know the intimate thoughts of John the baptist and Marcus Aurelius simply because they were able to write it down for us to view over 2000 years later. That is why the pen is mightier than the sword. (less)

The battle of Marvel vs DC continues... if this was a heavyweight fight, it would have been stopped after the 3rd round. Public perception is everything. Disney has hired (Bribed) the right film critics so any DC movie, before it gets off the ground is in deep trouble. Batman Vs Superman wasn't great, but it was definitely on par with some of the marvel movies yet, the critics are still destroying Read more of this blog post »
