BOOK BLITZ: Accidental Knight by Nicole Snow #GIVEAWAY

Accidental Knight
Nicole Snow
Publication date: May 28th 2019
Genres: Adult, Contemporary, Romance
Accidentally wed to a man I’ve never met…Goodreads / Amazon—EXCERPT:(Bella)“You aren’t going nowhere till I see how bad that knee is,” he rumbles. “Shit. If I’d known outside it was bleeding so bad, I’d have carried you in.”Peachy. Another image I don’t need, being flung over Drake’s wall of a shoulder like this is some kind of crazy western romance novel or something. He would have to say something like that, wouldn’t he? Kick this whole awkward attraction thing into overdrive.I shake my head too fast. “Come on, it’s not that bad. Barely hurts. I’m sure it’s like my arms. The blood makes it look worse than it is.”“Really?”I nod.“So where’s the blood coming from that’s dripping on your sock?”“What?” I lean forward to see. It’s the only ruse, the only opening, he needs. Taking advantage of my movement, he lifts me up in one quick jerk.Pain flares up my leg, into my thigh, and down again into my shin. I suck in a breath to counter it and to keep from squealing.“Barely hurting now?” he says.“Screw you,” I snap. It hurts, honestly. Stings so bad I can’t even afford to kick him where it counts.“Not today, darlin’. No time for sexy business.”Oh. My. God.My other knee almost gives out. It’s mostly Drake propping me up, running his hands up my legs, and then…then we’re doing this.“Hold on to the table so I can unbutton your jeans.”I reach for it, all right, because that sentence nearly destroys what’s left of my poor sanity.Thankfully, an iota of common sense prevails. “I’m not that helpless! I’ll unbutton them myself.”“Go ahead. Unzip, too. Then push them down.”“I don’t need step by step instructions!” I almost shout it.Other parts of me are far too well aware how close he’s standing next to me.How his hands feel on my waist, supposedly to steady me.How I’m about to drop my jeans, and be standing here, in front of this total stranger I’m married to, wearing next to nothing. The shine in his eyes says he’s enjoying this. Of-freaking-course he is.It can’t be that bad, can it?Maybe I can even have some fun, leave him with a lovely view he’ll never see again. Of all my ass-sets, I know what men like best, even if I’m still a hopeless virgin.Deviancy strikes. I’ve worn less at the beach.“Okay,” I whisper.
I inherited a freaking husband.Grandpa’s will was a shocker: huge fortune, gorgeous ranch, and the best horse ever. The fine print? Marrying Mr. Grump-alicious.The man who’s supposed to protect me from…what, exactly? That’s what I hope to find out if Drake Larkin ever talks.
I know what I’m in for the first time his glance tears me open.A broody enigma who’s large and in charge.A mute who curls my toes when he barks a few words.A silly, shameful, is-this-real-life crush I can’t afford.
Did I mention our pretend marriage-rodeo lasts six damn months?Long enough to teach my heart cartwheels.Time enough to seal this madness with a kiss.Insane enough for secrets to slip – and sting.
Grandpa’s last wishes scare me. So do Drake’s real motives. But it’s my beast of a “husband” who makes ridiculous seem right.Have I found my knight?Does love have a prayer when life throws us a dragon?

BOOK BLITZ: Primal Possession by Tabitha Black #GIVEAWAY

Primal Possession
Tabitha Black
(Alphas of Sandor, #1)
Publication date: May 30th 2019
Genres: Adult, Paranormal, Romance
If only I hadn’t been captured on market night…Despite being born an Omega, I refused to spend my life in a facility, waiting for a suitable Alpha to claim me as his. Instead, with the help of my family, I broke the law, hiding among the Betas, trying to live a normal life.It worked for five long years…… until I was caught. Now I’ve been chosen by Arius, the second most powerful Alpha in Sandor. The moment my scent reached him, overcome by the rut, he had to take me. As his mate, I can have anything my heart desires – anything he has the power to give. The only thing I don’t have is a choice.
Publisher’s Note: This dark MF Omegaverse romance contains elements of power exchange and explicit scenes which may trigger some readers.Goodreads / Amazon—EXCERPT:Saskia willed herself to stop trembling but it was damn near impossible. Especially when the huge, intimidating man stopped in front of her, pinned her in place with a piercing gray stare, and went absolutely still. It was as though he were carved out of stone. His nostrils flared as if in slow motion and her heart beat a frantic tattoo in her chest as he inhaled and she watched his expression change from one of mild curiosity to a look of raw, primal hunger. He looked like he would devour her.She had seen one or two Alphas from a distance, but never before had she stood in such close proximity to one. Even more impressive than the trademark expensive clothing they wore, which she had only ever viewed from afar, this one up close radiated power and dominance in a way she had never experienced before. He was undeniably attractive, in his perfectly tailored gray suit, but the way he was staring at her—like a cat eyeing a mouse—was distinctly unnerving.Breathe through your mouth, her mother had always warned her. If an Alpha’s pheromones reach you and he’s a breeding match, it will all be over. He’ll go into rut, you’ll go into estrus, and you’ll be powerless to stop him. It’s imperative that you don’t smell him.Saskia squeezed her eyes shut; the only way she could think of to escape that penetrating gaze he was leveling on her. But even against the sudden dark backdrop of her closed eyelids, his face remained as though imprinted in her mind. His long, shaggy black hair. His slightly hooked nose. His full, sensuous lips. The stubble coating his square, tense jaw.And those eyes… those iron-gray eyes which seemed to see right down into her soul.Saskia concentrated on breathing through her mouth until he interrupted her with a growl.“I thought I told you to look at me.”With a supreme effort, she forced her eyes back open and herself to meet his stare head-on. Determined not to cower or show any sign of fear, she lifted her chin and took a deep breath.Too late, she realized her mistake.

(Chronicles of Deadworld #2)
Publication date: May 28th 2019
Genres: Adult, Post-Apocalyptic, Urban Fantasy
How many times can you cheat death? I’m not sure but I have a feeling I’m about to be tested. Join Echo in the second thrilling instalment of the Chronicles of Deadworld series.Goodreads / Amazon—EXCERPT:The door opened, and the object of my reflections strode in. Black vest today and gray yoga pants. He kicked off his shoes and rolled his head on his shoulder to stretch the muscles.“You ready?” he asked.Terse tone, check. He always started out this way. “Yep.”“Okay, let’s see what you remember from the other day.”I launched myself at him, not giving him a moment to think, but he grabbed me around the waist easily and flung me to the ground before landing on top of me, arms braced on either side of my head, body in plank position so it was mere inches from mine.“Not good enough.” His eyes glittered, and his gaze fell to my lips. “Try harder.”There was a bite to his words, and then he’d pushed off me and leapt to his feet. Shit, the man was agile. Large and muscled like a wildcat, like the panthers we’d seen on the documentaries at the cinema if panthers were silver and blond with twilight eyes.He circled me as I stood.“I’m going to attack you now, Echo,” he warned.A shiver went up my spine, because hell if that wasn’t a hint of glee in his tone.“I’m going to attack you, and you need to defend.”His hair had fallen forward into his eyes, and he peered at me from behind the tendrils, his eyes super dark beyond his spectacles. My pulse fizzed, and adrenaline leaked into my limbs.“Wait, what?” We hadn’t played this game before.“You know the moves. If you lose your staff if you’re up against the Breed, what do you do?”Was that a growl to his tone? “Um, Emory.”His chest was rising and falling rapidly. “Run.”Run?And then he was charging me. I leapt out of the way just in time to avoid the crash of his body and launched into a run; the room was big, but with him in residence, it felt way too small. I leapt over the horse and grabbed hold of the rings hanging from the ceiling, using them to swing myself over to the rock-climbing wall. My fingers grazed the nooks, gaining purchase long enough to hang and drop, turn and twist to kick him in the gut. My foot connected but didn’t come away because he had my ankle. My gaze shot up to meet his, and his lips curled slowly. It was a primal smile, a smile of triumph and ownership.“Okay, you win.” I hopped on one leg while he continued to hold the other.“I do?” He kept hold of my ankle with one hand and grabbed my calf with the other, pulling me closer.“Shit.” My heart was thudding faster now, but not with exertion, with fear, because when I looked into his eyes, the Emory I knew wasn’t there. “Emory? You win. You can let go now.”He canted his head and released my ankle to grab my thigh. “You think a Breed will let you go? You think a scuttler will let you go?”My pulse was hammering in my throat now as I scanned the face I’d known for years and found nothing familiar aside from the features. His fingers tightened on me. “The Breed will catch you, and they’ll fuck you.”He yanked my leg suddenly and hard enough to knock me off balance and bring me to the ground. He came with me, his weight landing on my body, pushing it into the mats. A growl vibrated against me, and my fear spiked and twisted into something else, something untamed and dangerous. He inhaled, and the pupils behind his glasses dilated. His gloved hand slid up my body to tangle and fist in my hair almost painfully. Tears stung my eyes, and my body began to tremble, but this … this wasn’t fear, it was anticipation. What was this? What was happening right now?His thigh slipped between mine, pushing up against my crotch, and my body was suddenly on fire.“Emory?” His name was a breathless explosion. He tensed, and the hand in my hair flexed, tearing a gasp from me. He blinked slowly as if waking from a daydream, and then his face, his beautiful face, contorted in horror.“Echo?”“Emory?”He leapt off me as if he’d been burned and turned away, bracing his hands on his head. He took several steps away from me and then lowered his arms. His back straightened, and when he turned to face me, his expression was closed.“Get up.” He looked down on me coolly. “Training is done for the day.”

He plans to keep a respectful distance, especially once he starts defending a mob case. The last thing he wants is to bring more trouble into Jared’s life. As they keep getting thrown together, he finds it harder to stay away. The Mob isn’t known for being considerate of their targets’ love lives. It’s not going to be easy to build a new relationship with Jared as Logan’s client’s enemies come knocking at his door…Goodreads / Amazon—EXCERPT:“You’re a genius.” Gage clapped his hands. His posture loosened, shoulders down and relaxed. “So what’s with you hitting the bottle on a weeknight? I thought you left your partying days behind you in grad school.”Jared rolled his eyes. “I was such a party animal, too. Because construction sites are great places to be hung over.” He’d worked full time throughout his college years, and Gage knew it too. Sure, he had a full scholarship, but it hadn’t covered books or living expenses, and Jared had felt obligated to help support their mom and younger siblings at home.He scoffed and took another gulp of his drink. “So your favorite client came by the building to pick out his finishes yesterday.”Gage paled. “Aw, Geez. Wait— you’re working on that project?”“Yeah. Well, the other interior guy’s in jail, so I picked it up.”Gage grimaced. “I guess I couldn’t have kept you apart forever. But it shouldn’t have been a problem. You can be around each other long enough to let him pick out finishes.”Jared squirmed in his seat. He didn’t want to confess his weakness to anyone, but he had to say something to someone. Gage was the best choice. And he should know. “He came back while I was laying out bathroom tiles.”Gage closed his eyes. “Tell me that’s not a euphemism.”Jared blushed. “It wasn’t a euphemism at first. But, um. We were arguing, and then—”“Oh God, I watched this porno in middle school.”“It’s not a porn— wait, what?”“Angry office sex. It’s a classic porn trope. Come on, Jared, have you been living under a rock? The couple — who may not be a couple yet, but you know how it is — they argue, and then the next thing you know they’re getting busy right then and there over a desk or something—” Gage’s eyes bulged open and he grabbed for Jared’s drink. “Oh my God. My baby brother. Cannot unsee.”Jared took his drink back. “Dude. No. It wasn’t quite like that. I mean there’s no furniture in there.”Gage whimpered and covered his eyes.“It’s just— I’m not sure where my brain went. I was just not thinking clearly, and that was all she wrote. I shouldn’t have done it. I should’ve punched him in the face and called the cops for trespassing.”Gage calmed himself down. “But you didn’t,” he said with a sigh. “I think you need to ask yourself why.”“I don’t know why. Impulsivity. Stupid bi people doing stupid bi people things—”“Hey.” Gage’s voice cut through the din of the bar like a whip. “None of that. You never believed any of it before, don’t you start now.” He put his hand on Jared’s drink. “Maybe you’ve had enough of that.”“Maybe if I drink enough of it, I’ll stop hearing him say it.” Jared took his drink back and drained it, but he could still hear Logan.

—EXCERPT:SERPINTFun fact about Cygnian princesses .They are extra-special horny little minxes and they light up like a sun going supernova when they come. That’s the whole reason Crux keeps a whole flock of sexy swans up here in his private penthouse.I’ve seen it before. Maybe hundreds of times. It’s hard not to get a glimpse when every time I’m home on the station I have to be up here doing business with Crux. But this one’s glow is… I mean, I’m not trying to be disparaging, but it’s… dull.Barely worth watching. When I glance over my shoulder everyone in the room has lost interest.A half-breed, maybe? Is that a thing?I direct my gaze to the cyborg master, who has withdrawn his vibrating fingers from between her legs, and find him cocking one eyebrow at her. Probably thinking the same thing. Probably calculating how much Crux paid for her, adding in the fact that she’s unruly and belligerent, and deciding they should probably just send her down to the lower levels and cut their losses.I let her finish moaning and writhing in her bindings. The best Cygnian princesses can go on for several minutes. Hell, I’ve seen one who took a full hour to finally calm down. But this one only lasts about thirty seconds.Still, she’s exhausted. It must take a lot of energy to produce color like that, so I give her an extra moment. She takes it. Drops her chin to her ample breasts and lets out a long exhale. Then she lifts her eyes to meet mine from behind a curtain of unusually dark hair. Most of these princesses have bright-colored hair. Bellatrix blue, Demon Star orange, nebula green, and even some Arcturus red.The dark color is a disguise, I realize. And now that I look close I can see that her dye job is fading at random places all over her head. What is up with this girl? She seems recovered now. So I say, “That all you got?”“Fuck you,” she breathes, still panting. “Just… go away.”I allow myself a chuckle, but then I remember why I’m home in this condition and it fades like the daylight from three setting suns back on the home planet.Draden is dead. Ceres, blown up. Booty damaged.I turn away and call out to ALCOR, “Send me a bottle of good whiskey and a girl. I’ll be down in my quarters.”

Hazel Rivera was an untouchable small-town princess… but that summer five years ago, she was mine. All it took was a few hours of hell to destroy the heaven we built. I left Shippensburg with nothing but the shirt on my back and my dog at my side. Leave or die, and ruin the lives of everybody I cared about at the same time. There was no choice. Now I’m back. I need to find out how she could have done that to us, but somehow she’s got the nerve to be pissed at me? And why does her daughter have my eyes?I’ll get my answers, make her remember how she used to run her tongue over my abs and dig her nails into my back, then I’ll leave this damn town forever.Goodreads / Amazon—EXCERPT:Hazel nodded enthusiastically and held the plate in my direction. I took a brownie and Chopper whined at the brutal injustice of it all. While chewing, I tried to maintain a poker-face, but under the scrutiny of Hazel and Chopper, I couldn’t help but smile.“Mmmm… ok, all is forgiven.”Relief visibly washed over Hazel’s face, and sweet holy fuck what a beautiful face it was. Maybe she wasn’t the unfathomable angel I had assumed from a distance. Maybe she was even better.Hazel’s eyes flicked down to my bicep as I brought the brownie to my mouth for another bite, and I saw the tip of her tongue touch her lips for a second before she swallowed and looked me in the face again. Hazel, Hazel Rivera, was checking me out.“So what are you going to be doing with yourself over the summer, now that you’re free?” I asked.“Well, my friend Ella and I are hatching a scheme that would convince my parents to let me have a gap year. Other than that, just going to hang out with friends, maybe do a road trip before everybody scatters to the four corners of the world.”“How’s that going for you? The scheme.”“It’s… still unhatched, shall we say.”Before I’d been kicked out of school, I’d had my pick of the girls, it had always been pretty easy for me. Since then, I’d gradually stopped going to the local parties, so I wasn’t sure if I was merely rusty or what, but I had almost as much problems getting the next words out of my mouth as Hazel had explaining the brownies.“So… that’s the long-term plan, what about short term, like tonight?”“Huh?”I swallowed. “Well, if you didn’t have plans and wanted to make sure you’d properly apologized, I’m free tonight.”Hazel’s eyebrows rose along with one side of her mouth. “Oh really? I thought all was forgiven?”“Well… maybe I misspoke. I’m still pretty offended.”“Oh no…”“So, what do you say? Tonight? I could pick you up around seven?”“I can’t.”My heart lurched again.“But… I’m free this afternoon. Say four?” she asked, sheepishly.“Yep, I can work with that,” I said.A smile so pure and bright lit up her face that my only defense was to smile back. We stood there for a few seconds smiling like fucking idiots.“Uh… well, here.” She held out the plate. “These are yours. I gotta go, but I’ll see you at four. You know where I live, right?”I pointed in the direction of her house.“That’s it,” she said, taking a few steps backwards. “See you then.” She turned away as she spoke.“See you then,” I said, just barely loud enough for her to hear, before taking my own backwards steps away from the fence and turning around.“Hey Jeff?” she called.I turned.“It’s a date, right?” Her face was threatening to turn pink again.“It’s a date.”Hazel smiled and gave me a rueful ‘gotcha’ point of her finger. If I could have her smile at me like that every day, I’d be a happy man.

I'm a stay at home mom that loves to read. Some of my favorite titles are Pride and Prejudice, Harry Potter, Lord of the Rings, and Horatio Hornblower. I started writing when I was trying to come up with suggestions on ways I could help bring in some extra money. I came up with the idea that I could donate plasma because you could earn an extra $500/month. My husband responded with, "No. Find something else. Write a blog. Write a book." I didn't think I had anything to share on blog that a thousand other mothers hadn't already thought of. I decided to take his challenge seriously and sat down to write my first book, Jack. I was surprised at how much I enjoyed writing. From there, the stories continued to flow and I haven't been able to stop. I hope my readers enjoy my books as much as I enjoy writing them. Between reading, writing, and taking care of three small kids, my days are quite full.
