During this interview, live on 9/11/18, he shares how he can hold it together when approaching the families. Why the field of organ donation is his passion and calling and why he wrote his beautiful first novel about it.

166: TIffani Bova – Growth IQ – Get Smarter About the Choices That Will Make or Break Your Business
Growing a business takes more than setting a plan and following it. Plans need to be monitored and analyzed to slow or eliminate becoming stagnate. You need to be ahead of where your business and clients are going to anticipate the next phase of growth.
You don’t want to be behind the curve and have to react to a downturn or slowdown. It is much harder to recover when you are reacting to something that has already happened. Wouldn’t it be better if you could see the writing on the wall and possibly avoid it all together? Or better yet, create new markets or plumb the depths of your existing client base to exponentially grow your current market?
My guest today has been helping businesses anticipate trends, grow their client base and understand their business through metrics every business owner or executive MUST to survive in these turbulent times for over twenty years. And now she has finally written a book to share the wisdom she has gained from helping others.
On this episode Tiffani Bova shares the ten paths to growth and how you can combine and sequence them to keep your business moving forward and up.

165: Alex on Autos – The car review guy gets real on what you need to know
I found Alex Dykes, aka Alex on Autos while narrowing down choices for a new car. He has incredible video reviews of virtually every car real people would consider buying and explains the car in context of how we normal people actually use a car.
I just had to have him on the show and he said yes.
During this episode Alex talks about how he got started in the business of video car review for real people, what you should do before you buy a car, why tires really matter to noise and so much more.
Alex even shares what kind of person most cars are designed for and how you can adapt your favorite car to fit you if you are shorter like I am.
Alex L. Dykes hails from the left coast where he and his husband combine a love of Silicon Valley technology with a passion for cars on a 9-acre organic farm. In 2011 Alex started Alex On Autos as a way to provide useful information to new car shoppers. At the time most YouTube channels were focused on entertainment and antics but Alex decided it was time for someone to talk about child seats, third row headroom and guide shoppers to find the right vehicle for them.
Alex On Autos is part of a larger corporation that Alex and his husband own that provides materials engineering and failure analysis services to Silicon Valley industries with offices in San Jose, CA.

164: John David Mann – Mastering Fear A Navy Seal’s Guide Part 2
Mastering Fear . I never thought of fear as something to be mastered. I always felt you needed to just push past fear. Sort of pretend it doesn’t exist. I have a new appreciation for fear now and how we can truly change how we think about fear and how it can paralyze us.
Last episode I interviewed Brandon Webb. John David Mann is his co-author for their latest collaboration, and I think one of their most powerful for the greater world. But I have a tendency to say that about all their books because each one visibly shifts my life and invisibly shifts my thinking.
Take a listen as John shares with me his favorites concepts in the book and how they affected his life. His conversation around comfort zones and the Echo chamber are different then you have probably heard before.
He and Brandon Webb are a writing team for the ages. Dare I compare them to the team of Bob Burg and John David Mann? I’ve recommended this book to random strangers and friends and each person reaches out and comments on different parts of the book and how it has impacted them.
Take a listen and speak your fear so you can learn to master it.
John David Mann is coauthor of the bestselling classic The Go-Giver, which has sold more than half a million copies in more than two dozen languages. Winner of the Axiom Business Book Award’s Gold Medal in 2008, The Go-Giver has been hailed as “the most important parable about business?and life?of our time” by bestselling author and Wharton professor Adam Grant; “a small book that packs a huge idea” by bestselling author Daniel Pink; “a good description of many of the most amazing people I’ve encountered” by Arianna Huffington; and “a must-read by anyone who wants to change the world” by talk show host Glenn Beck. Inc. magazine named it one of the 18 Most Motivational Books of All Time.
His other titles include the New York Times bestsellers Flash Foresight (with Daniel Burrus) and The Red Circle (with Brandon Webb), and the national bestsellers Among Heroes (with Brandon Webb), The Slight Edge (with Jeff Olson), and Real Leadership (with John Addison). 159: Stephanie Leach – From Texas BBQ Brisket to Vegan Juice Coach
How does a woman from the BBQ loving state of Texas make the move to not only becoming a vegan and avid juicer but also to switch careers and follow her calling to show others how they can improve their health one mouthful of nutritious foods at a time and convert her husband and son?
That is definitely a story I wanted to hear, so I asked Stephanie Leach to be on my show. I know from personal experience that trying to become healthy is not as easy as we might think. So many distractions along the way of embracing a new way of thinking, eating, living, healing. One of the hardest to move past, beyond the one in our own minds, is that of influences from the outside. Stephanie posed some interesting questions we can ask ourselves. One in particular really made me think about whether I am even allowing myself to think and believe that I can change what is happening for myself right now. You’ll have to listen to hear what happened.
I’ve struggled with weight and health issues for most of my life. It seems as if I have lost and gained the same 60 pounds for the last 20 years or more. I’ve been vegan and full blown meat eater. So what is the answer? I have not found it yet but what I do know is that adding more fruits and vegetables and less processed food into my daily eating plan does make me feel better. Stephanie hsa found the answer for herself and for many of her clients. Book after book, functional medicine doctor after functional medicine doctor tells us to go plant-based. Go organic.
If you have ever thought about migrating your way of eating to a plant based one or if you have tried and failed because it was just too overwhelming then take a listen to this interview because I love how Stephanie offered up easy to follow replacements you can readily use to change one meal a day or multiple and still get your BBQ on!
Stephanie shares how she was able to hold strong and achieve her health goals even with her family not being on-board at first. She also shares tips you can begin doing right now to add more plant based foods into your diet. One meal or one snack at a time.
As a Certified Health Coach and Certified Juice Therapist, Stephanie Leach helps busy people transform their health and reclaim their energy with the power of juicing and a whole food, plant-based lifestyle.
