Lon, first off, great website you have. This can be a long email but I will try to keep it reasonably short. I saw a UFO in 2013. A few weeks later I was talking to my ex-wife and told her about my sighting, since I know she saw one as a child. That's when she mentions that she saw a Sasquatch in the field behind her house early one morning. I absolutely believed her from the get go. But because of where she saw it I was thinking that she saw one that was passing through. Too many houses around there for them to be living there.

Just for the heck of it, I started taking walks in the woods near the field where she had her sighting. Long story short. I've found many stick structures in the woods around there. I've also been snorted at, barked and growled at, have had sticks and rocks thrown near me. I've also found footprints that I cast, one with dermal ridges. Very amazing stuff. My son was with me when most of these events happened. So it's not my imagination or anything like that. I've since been to other areas around western NY and have either found evidence of sasquatch being there or have heard tree knocks and things thrown near me. I'm now absolutely positive that Sasquatch are living in our suburbs, full time, year round. Thanks. MG

Strange 'Dots' Reported on Hands and Legs

Ogdensburg, NJ - 2017-09-13: I was sleeping. Woke up and noticed 3 dots on my hand. Recently like 4/15/18 I had 3 dots on my ankle after I shared the photo of my hand on Facebook they are hiding the marks. I'm afraid of what they are doing to me because I'm exposing time travel. I don't remember anything about the actual abductions. Some strange dreams maybe about going extremely fast. In fact the Santa Claus commercial about "wanting to go to space" (on ESPN) (was in the winter) and I was sometimes excited to go. If I was abducted. But that was strange because I literally asked them that. In my unconscious state. What made me notice it was... looking at my hand... but Youtube recommended a spider on someone's hand to me that day. I knew right away.

I saw Mothman in 2015 on my deck.

I am scared/mad which is why I'm telling you but mostly want it documented by people.

Also I had a bald spot on my head. Thought I was going bald for a few months. And my hair grew back. Like a nickel sized circle on my head. My ex knows about the bald spot but I don't talk to her. She would think I still have it. - MUFON

Garner, NC on 2018-04-22: I woke up to a strange pattern of dots on my leg in a circle. Almost like I had been probed. I have no recollection of anything happening and I no explanation of how they got there. I was shocked and afraid. - MUFON

Dangerous Asian Tick Found in New Jersey

Winged Being 'Vanishes' in West Lakeview Chicago

On Friday April 20, 2018 I received a telephone call from a woman in Chicago, in reference to a sighting that her and a friend had on Thursday April 12, 2018 at approximately 7:15 PM CT. It was early dusk, but still plenty of ambient light available.

The two elderly women were walking north along N. Greenway Ave. towards the intersection with W. Diversey Pkwy. in the West Lakeview neighborhood of Chicago.

They both heard a brief 'deep bellowing sound' emanating from the area of the intersection. As they both looked towards that direction, a dark winged being flew in front of them, towards the west, at an altitude of 15 ft. or so. Then suddenly the being 'vanished' from their sight, as if it had been 'swallowed up' somehow. There was no further sound or remnants of the being. The women told me that a man across the street also observed the incident, and immediately began to run in the opposite direction. The women stated that they were 'paralyzed' and could not move or talk for almost 20 seconds after the event. They then hurriedly walked towards their residences.

When they returned home, they were 'confused and drained of energy.' They were fearful of what they saw and agreed not to report the sighting. A week after the incident, one of the women had noticed some of the previous internet reports of a similar winged being in the Chicago. At that time, she contacted me. I was eventually able to talk with both witnesses.

The observation of the winged being was very brief, but the women stated that it was almost black in color and that the wings were somewhat folded along the body, which was 6-7 ft. in length. No other details of the winged being were available.

The witnesses are very private people and insisted that they not be contacted by other investigators.

NOTE: This is the first reported sighting that included details of possible interdimensional abilities...other than the humanoid that disappeared on the Magnificent Mile building roof. The witnesses shared their names and contact information with me, but are not currently willing to have their sighting verified by other members of the task force. This sighting has been added to the Chicago & Regional Winged Humanoid / Flying Entity Sightings & Encounters Interactive Map

Weekend 2 Cents: 'They' Looked Human -- Strange Series of Events -- Seeing Into Another Dimension?

'They' Looked Human

Manchester, NH - 5/30/1997: I awoke and found five people in my bedroom. All wearing white coats, human in appearance. One female four males. Four of them were standing side by side watching the examination from the man behind me. I was laying on my stomach naked and was unable to move at all. It was like I was frozen.

Now I'm a big man, and I was bench pressing 385 lbs, and with all my strength I could not move, and yes the man in back of me put a long metal something in my ass. He made a motion to the female of the group, and the female said to the tall male who was in charge (THIS IS NOT A GOOD SPECIMEN FOR A HUMAN)

They then touched my head to try to erase my memory of the event, but it did not work.

The next night three came back to try to erase my memory, and again I was frozen, and again they failed to erase my memory of the event.

I'm real glad I'm a bad specimen! I don't think they can control animals yet. Since I got my dog and cat, they have never come back.

Sky Glitch

“When I was around 14, my mother, her friend, and I were sitting at a bank drive-thru, waiting for our turn. I, growing bored, began to stare up at the sky and daydream. Eventually, I noticed something. The clouds were...off. They weren't moving, even slightly. Next to one of the clouds that I was viewing, was what I remember to be a dark, rectangular patch, almost looking pixelated. I decided to tell my mother's friend, as my mom would just dismiss it as imagination, and is hard of hearing, so it would be hard to get it all out anyways. The friend looked up and said something along the lines of "that's weird." Nothing else really happened, and I don't know whether or not it can be easily explained. If you have an explanation or comment, feel free to say it. My mother's friend still remembers this event, despite it being around two years later. At the time, no one else seemed to notice the "sky glitch" This happened around two years ago, so my memory of it is still relatively fresh."

Strange Series of Events

Portland, OR - 2018-04-20: I was outside enjoying the reasonable weather tonight, when I saw something on the horizon. I thought it was a comet or something at first, then realized that it was several objects. I assumed it was a military thing at first but then I realized it was way too weird. I'm a huge skeptic, but I have to say, these things were flying around erratically, like they were surveying, and then they landed and I saw someone in what looked like a really advanced space suit get out. It sounds crazy to me but IDK. I remember seeing some guy drive by the other day and throw some weird metal cube out of his window and then drive off. It had a ton of weird markings on it. I didn't touch it but the things seemed to land right where it was and when I checked the cube wasn't there. there was some really strange footprints though. Now there are a bunch of military looking people there, and they look like they're leaving. I'm not sure what happened. All I know is I felt pure dread when I saw the thing land. And when the 'creatures' got out, one of them looked at me and it felt like my heart stopped. I also lost about five minutes on my watch. - MUFON

Seeing Into Another Dimension?

“I once had a panic attack. I laid down in bed with eyes shut and I started looking at the shapes you see in the darkness when your eyes are closed. I don’t know if it was blood circulating or what but when I focused a certain way. I could see like a group of people milling around just like if you went into a bar but with the lights switched off so you could only see shadows, like a full on interaction. After awhile, I started just watching these scenes which aren’t very clear because they are in darkness. Then, all of a sudden, I had a panic attack. I thought, there is actually a full on dimension of people and their lives I can see when I close my eyes. I can still see them to this day but I put it down to blood circulating in my eyelids or something and my active imagination but sometimes if the room is at the right lighting level, when I close my eyes. It's pretty clear. Just lots of shadow people milling around living their lives but surely it's just blood circulating in my eyes and retina that I can see...who knows.”

'Floating City' Over NYC Harbor

I remember the incident when it occurred, but it is rarely reported or mentioned as a part of ufology:

Caller reported the following:

The caller reported that at 2208 hrs. (eastern), she was riding the Staten Island Ferry from the tip of Manhattan to Staten Island. Just as the ferry was passing Governor's Island, she became aware of a commotion on the east side of the ferry boat. People were rushing to that side of the ferry, shouting, pointing, and generally raising a ruckus.

She decided to try to determine was the cause of the disturbance, and walked outside onto the passenger deck. What she saw shocked her. The object was huge, and it obscured the passengers' view of Governor's Island. Many of them reported that the object looked like a city, with lights and a skyline. However, its presence apparently roiled the water beneath it, causing a froth to appear on the water's surface!!

For days afterward, the witness handed out leaflets at the ferry terminal, hoping to contact other passengers who had seen the object. Those same people approached 9-1-1 facilities, requesting copies of the tape recorded reports of the object, which was also seen from Governor's Island, but the tapes were either missing, or not made available, they were told.

A video tape about the incident was prepared, a copy of which is in the possession of NUFORC.

This incident apparently was VERY dramatic, and it was witnessed by dozens, or perhaps hundreds, of people. - NUFORC

NOTE: A senior medical care executive called to discuss events re 09/15/95 sighting in NYC harbor. Many other responsible witnesses found...according to NUFORC

In the F.Y.I. section of the New York Times, dated October 24, 1999, the following information was published in reference to to a reader question "Have there been any major U.F.O. sightings around New York City in recent years?":

According to Mr. (Peter) Davenport (NUFORC), the first occurred aboard the Staten Island Ferry on Sept. 15, just after 10 P.M. As the ferry passed Governors Island, he said, people began rushing to the port side, entranced by an object to the left, between the ferry and the island. Sylvia Mok, a Wall Street proxy manager, said she was aboard the ferry that night, and saw a blazing white light shining through the window. ''At first I thought we were passing too close to a big ocean liner, so I went outside to see,'' she said. ''I look up and there's a city floating on the sea. There is no movement of water. The city was laid out in blocks, and had buildings at one end, lit up. But no one was there. There was something insubstantial about it. It appeared to be more of a...whirling shape.''

Ms. Mok said 75 to 100 others watched the ethereal floating city from the upper deck, but only a handful of fellow passengers were willing to corroborate her account later. "Within 24 hours, doors started slamming in my face," she said.

NOTE: I remember at the time, that a tight lid was placed on any information being provided by official sources...which includes local, state and federal authorities. According to my information, through submitted reports to me or any other reporting agency, there have been approximately 20 reported sightings of UFOs from the vantage point of the Staten Island Ferry since 1975. “I've been within 5 feet of a Sasquatch in broad daylight. I placed some ripe pears and apples in a clearing, waited overnight, and saw one at about 8 am. I couldn't tell if it was male or female, but it was about 6 feet tall, the coat was dark reddish brown, black at the ends. It smelled like if you'd mixed up a big batch of onions, cat piss, and just something else funky, like a bad fart. It slowly crawled to the fruit, sniffing around kinda like a raccoon. When it started to eat the fruit I must have made a sound, because it jerked its head up and looked right at me. I was under some foliage I'd laid down about 15 ft away, so I thought I was covered. It dug its fists in the ground and jumped towards my shelter. From about 5-ish feet away, I could tell that the eyes were brown, with yellowish color towards the center. It looked right into my eyes, then just tore ass off in the opposite direction. Judging from the look it gave me, these things are intelligent, and not to be underestimated. This was about 10-12 years ago, in northern Louisiana pine forests.”

Unknown Beings Manifest On My Bed

Madison, WI - 12/30/1990 05:00: I had just laid down for the night, hadn't yet fallen asleep. I became aware of someone sitting on the bed near my left leg, a small form or being is there as I look but in the near-darkness I cannot see the details of who it may be. Then, to the right and above the end of my bed, another form is materializing in the room by the doorway. Again, it's too dark to really see but it's as if this 'being' were coming out of thin air. This being seemed covered in a dark cloak-like piece of clothing, hooded perhaps. I was shocked and surprised by all of this, thought to call out to my roommate in the next room but I was immobilized, could not move or speak. The beings themselves were natural feeling, I wasn't scared by them, just alarmed that they were there. Also, anytime you see someone just fade in like that gets you questioning things a bit. I felt as if I were a young child at one point, until realizing I was here at this time in this room and this bed (this gets me wondering if i had similar experiences as a child ---which I believe I have, there are many strange occurrences like this from back then---). What kept me from shouting out to my roommate, also, was a voice in my head which said something like," Don't be loud, it'll wake the neighbors"; we lived in a duplex, so there were other folks living on the other side of the wall. - NUFORC

Mother Shipton's 'End of the World' Predictions

In the spring of 1881, families across England deserted their homes, too terrified to sleep in their beds. They slept in fields or prayed in churches and chapels for God to spare their lives in the apocalypse that was foretold: “The world to an end shall come; in eighteen hundred and eighty-one.”

The source of the population’s terror was Mother Shipton, also known as Ursula Shipton, a woman whose prophecies had been circulating through England and beyond since the 17th century.

In often cryptic verse, the crone-like seer predicted wars, rebellions, and all types of natural disasters. After London burned in 1666, Samuel Pepys wrote in his diary: “Mother Shipton’s word is out.” Her prophecies were published in one form or another over 20 times between 1641 and 1700.

But in the 1800s, her predictions grew even more terrifying: The end-of-the-world was foretold in a book published in 1862. The Day 'Shimikus Etua' Called

Bellevue, WA - 9/15/1997: This report is not concerning the sighting of a UFO type craft, but re: a phone call from a man purporting to be an alien being. My wife and I were told about him by a female friend living in Chicago, who had become his acquaintance. The call lasted approximately one hour, during which time he explained his origin, how he came to this planet, his people's purpose in being here, and how he currently occupied the body of a man born on earth.

During the conversation he also answered a number of my questions: about his view of our civilization, the amount of time he and those of his particular race had been on earth, the number of his people living among our population, and certain questions re: history and current events.

The gentleman was astonishingly clear and logical in his expression; almost like a scientist or professor. He also seemed almost Spock-like in his lack of emotion.

Should you wish to have a more thorough report I can send in more detail the topics of our conversation. It has been about thirteen years, but I believe I can recall a number of points he made.

(ADDENDUM FROM SAME INDIVIDUAL WHO SUBMITTED REPORT)

I am going to break the rules as far as filing this more detailed report of my conversation with the gentleman from Chicago. I apologize in advance, because I know you are highly disciplined in your work. It is just that I'd like to get this to you via your personal e-mail (In truth, I'm a real amateur on the workings of the internet.)

As you will read, I will include the names of both the extraterrestial being, as well as the man whose body he purported to occupy (who is now, as of about a decade ago, deceased.) I will leave it to your discretion as to whether you wish to include that purportedly occupied person's name.

Tacco and I sat down together to put in place the clear memories of what was shared. We know that we've lost certain things that were said - to our great regret - but what is written to you is quite accurate according to the gentleman's statements and claims.

Recollections of A Call from an Extraterrestrial Who Gave Us the Name "Shimikus Etua"

In the summer of 1997 I received a call from a Philippine born woman in Chicago - a long time friend who once babysat for our children - with regard to an older man she had met. The gentleman, she told us, identified himself initially as a "Eugene Randall" and lived in the Chicago suburbs. She, being of an extraordinary open and pure nature, invited him to her family's residence to take more time to visit. As a matter of fact, Mr. Randall visited our friend and her family quite regularly after the initial meeting.

It was in the course of these visits that Mr. Randall told our friend that he, indeed, wasn't of this world, and identified himself as, I believe it is called, a "walk-in," by the name of Shimikus Etua.

After a number of these visits by the gentleman, our friend called us to share the matter. At the end of our phone call, I asked her if this person would mind calling me directly. She said she thought it possible, and that he seemed quite open to share with those who could be open to him, and said she'd ask him. Several nights later, we received a call from Shimikus Etua.

The following is a listing of recollections, and personal impressions I had from the phone call:

1.) My first impression was that I was talking to a very serious and almost professorial individual who didn't express much emotion. He seemed almost Spock-like. There was no feeling of his being delusional or inconsistant. He spoke in measured tones and answered my questions without hesitation or wasted words.

2.) Shimikus (from now on 'S'), said that he came from a planetary system somewhere in the vicinity of what we call the North Star. He said that he'd traveled to our planet on one of a few very large "mother ships." I believe he mentioned that he'd actually been born enroute to our solar system.

3.) It was hard for me to believe, but he gave his age as "about 3000 years old."

4.) When I asked about his civilization's belief in a supreme being he immediately answered in the affirmative. He then went on to explain that there was a time when his people were not good (I believe he even used the word "evil), and that they tended to be self destructive as well as destructive to other civilizations. However, long ago, before the journey to earth, a "priest" among his people began to teach a path of goodness, that, somehow had a great impact for the good. His people went through a tremendous change, and left behind their negativity.

5.) S mentioned that his people are more than a little concerned with the elements of self destruction on our planet, and wish to help us evolve as a species as they did long ago (I took this to mean, in the sense of 'consciousness' and spirituality.) When I asked how his people look at us, he hesitated for a moment, and then said that it is how we may look at "primitive tribes" in our own world.

6.) He explained that those among his race who are now on the earth have come here with the help of earth people who are aware of them, and who have voluntarily offered their bodies and personae as vehicles for these aliens. S spoke in glowing terms of Eugene Randall, who had offered himself for S. (note: I could see that this whole matter of earth people contributing their bodies was entirely of their own free volition, and not anything like a hostile take over, ie, the 1950's horror classic, "Invasion of the Body Snatchers.") S also mentioned a Russian man, who, years ago during the Soviet period, had done what Eugene had done; the same admiration and gratitude was expressed for his courage and sacrifice. (I don't remember the details of the Russian man's story.)

7.) I asked how many of S's people were on the earth in the capacity mentioned above. He estimated it to be about 8,000.
Living in Seattle, I asked if he knew how many may be in the Puget Sound area. He said he didn't know, and that they are not all in good contact with one another (I got the feeling that this race of people has been among us for a very long time, according to his conversation.) He did mention that there was a way for me to find someone if I wished; he explained that there is a symbol that his race uses, and went on to explain it: It is two squares, one over the other, something similar to the Jewish star of David. Only the squares are juxtaposed: One drawn straight up and down, and the other rotated so that the corners of the second square extend out past the middle of each of the first star's mid-lines - so you end up with an eight-pointed star shape.
S told me that if I put this symbol in my car window, I may be approached and asked about where I learned the symbol..."that may be one of our people" he told me.

8.) S expressed the serious concern of his race for our use of nuclear power, and said that even the "peaceful use" of nuclear reactors is very harmful to the cosmos. Nuclear war was just a horror, as he expressed it, not just for us but for the others in our cosmos. He said we didn't begin to understand the problems nuclear energy creates. He also mentioned a concern for mid eastern wars, and the use of chemical weapons. Though I didn't learn just how, S said that his people have ways to counteract the weapons we build; he mentioned their spoiling of chemical weapon stockpiles in Iran.

9.) (I had some trouble getting this) The flood of Noah was mentioned: S explained that one of their larger spacecraft had lost its bearings and crashed in the arctic regions, causing a tremendous and sudden meltdown of ice, and subsequent flooding of portions of the globe (I assumed a tremendous explosion and release of energy.) This, he said, was a contributing factor to the flood.

10.) Situations of co-habitation with earth people: It was also mentioned to me that there was a history of sexual co-habitation between members of S's race and earth people. In particular, he mentioned that there were cases of this in the Philippine Islands (modern name), and that quite a few hybrid children were born as a result. Lineages continue to this day. An interesting note is that S mentioned our former babysitter who he had first met, and who had called us about him, was of that hybrid lineage.

11.) I asked if there are any other extraterrestial civilizations near earth at this time. He said that there are, and that, unlike his own people, they don't all have their personal problems worked out. While his own civilization has only the desire to help us develop in a positive direction, there are others who would use us for cruel experimentation - almost like animal labs, and even practice self gratifying sexual abuse with our people (certain horrible abduction experiences? - my reflection). S mentioned that his people try to drive off these evil races when possible.

12.) A humorous incident: S has a brother, he told me, named Andronicus. He said that one day, in downtown Chicago, they were in an elevator in a high rise building, and somehow, were in their original forms...A businessman suddenly entered the elevator, looked at them in shock, and blurted out, "Where did you come from?!"

Andronicus, who was just as shaken up, reacted with, "Well, from my mother!" (S did mention that if I saw him in his original form, that I may be startled, though I got the sense that it is not that far from our own earthly bodies.)

13.) S visited our friend, the Philippine woman, many times in the form of Eugene Randall. She told me in a call sometime after my call with him, that he came to her home one afternoon to help celebrate her birthday. After a while he expressed weariness and asked if he could take a rest. She put him on the bed that she and her husband slept in. Soon, a group of her church friends came by to say happy birthday, and saw this 'unknown man' on her bed. They became outraged and spread gossip about her. When she later told S about what had happened, he became sad and upset at the same time. He told our friend, and I paraphrase here, "How long have our people been here on this planet working to help you, and still you don't understand the meaning of friendship and trust!"

*Several years ago, our friend called and told us that Eugene Randall had been found dead in his apartment by a neighbor. What of Shimikus?

I have no idea, nor does she.

Aliens Exit Portal

I was camped between Garberville and Redway, CA, close to the Eel River. I couldn't get to sleep, and I couldn't understand why. The forest around me was very quiet, which was unusual. You almost always hear crickets and owls. I couldn't sleep and suddenly I heard a hum, and all the hair on my body stood up. In front of me the scenery became like a sheet of glass. And then that sheet of glass started to ripple. Just like on the TV show StarGate 1. And - it looked just like that; and all of a sudden two alien type creatures walked right past me.

They walked right by me, and so close to me that I could feel a breeze as they walked by. I was in shock. And then as quickly as it started it was over. They walked through another portal and were gone. What impressed me was how they walked out of nowhere walked a few yards and disappeared - through the same type of SG1 portal.

It was like reality started to ripple and became a sheet of glass. I did not see a UFO. But I saw aliens!! They didn't seem to care about me, but later that night I woke up barefooted three hundred yards from my camp, and had no idea how I had gotten there. What I noticed at that time was that the normal sounds of the forest had returned. - NUFORC

Little People Are Watching

The following account is from the summer of 2003 in Rough River State Park, Kentucky. There were 2 known sources of this story, Paranormal About.com and a paragraph printed in a Louisville, KY newspaper a few days after the incident. I came across a thread post from a person who states they were privy to this event. There have been a few details added from the original report:

June 24th 2003 - mid-afternoon: The witness was on a weekend canoeing trip for rest and relaxation in an remote area of Rough River State Park. He was strangely queasy and anxious for some unknown reason. for some unknown reason, he felt like he had something to fear. Heeding these sensations, he was extremely cautious on the river. After several miles he paddled the canoe to the riverbank and tied it off to a tree. He got out to explore the area. Looking 8-10 ft downstream he spotted what looked like the top of a gray clay jar peeking out of the water.

His first thoughts were that he might have found a native people's artifact. He started down the bank toward the creek which was extremely slippery with mud. He stopped just short of the water and very close to the old earthenware pot. It was more like a clay crock and he soon realized that it probably wasn't very old. He poked at it and noticed there were small handprints on it. He thought it could had been raccoon prints but they were more like little human handprints, about an inch wide.

He tried to pry the thing loose using a stick but suddenly heard a noise. He heard what sounded like children laughing in the distance. The sound was coming from downstream. When he managed to pull the crock jar out of the mud, something let out a scream. It sounded like a little girl, very high pitched and loud. Not knowing what to do he grabbed the jar and began to scramble up the muddy bank. Glancing back, he thought he saw something move along the creek. He stopped and sat at the top of the bank for a moment looking at the jar, trying to comprehend the handprints.

After a few minutes, he laid the crock down, got up and walked along the creek stopping every once in a while to peek through the bushes to see if anybody was there. At one point, he looked over the bank he noticed two little people standing about 1 foot tall. They had pale skins, little brown leather pants held up by suspenders, no shirts and little pointy hats made of what looked like leather. They had leather foot coverings that went up past the ankle. Their hair was reddish color and their eyes blue. Their hands were only about an inch wide. They knew he was watching but they continued their task of pulling some kind of wooded stump down the muddy creek bank with long leather ropes or strings. These little men were surprisingly clean, for the work they were doing. He then heard a thump back where he first had gone in the creek. He looked back and there were three more of the little men, exactly like the first two. They had pushed the crock jar back down the bank. They were all laughing, high-pitched laughter, like a bunch of kids. He then heard a loud snap and they were all gone. Their footprints were plainly visible in the mud, but they were gone along with the crock jar and the wooded stump. They had vanished in a split second.

He walked around in an attempt to pick up a trail but to no avail. He continued his trip with no other incidents.

MUFON's Continued Ignorance

It's been almost 11 months since the racism controversy began at MUFON...all resulting from a post made on Facebook: MUFON's Most Recent Scandal...RACISM!


I received a lot of pushback and several threats for being the original advocate who 1st reported the offending post...but I also received a multitude of support.

More recently, another official realized that that MUFON hadn't kept its word to the membership and resigned from the organization. In January MUFON selected Chris Cogswell, a Minnesota-based podcaster with a PhD in chemical engineering, as their new director of research. On Friday night, just four months later, Cogswell abruptly resigned after learning that MUFON is still closely aligned with Ventre. He sent MUFON the following letter:

To whom it may Concern,

It is with a heavy heart that I must report my resignation from my position as director of research for the Mutual UFO Network. Yesterday afternoon (Friday, April 13th 2018) it came to my attention that John Ventre, former state director for Pennsylvania, has had a continued role within MUFON as an active member, is listed as a paid consultant, conference coordinator, and treasurer for the PA chapter, and is a part of the preparations for the upcoming symposium. I was stunned to receive an e-mail from Mr. Ventre stating that he was the “guy putting together the symposium” for National MUFON, and even more stunned when his involvement was not strongly condemned and denied. Had I known that Mr. Ventre was not completely removed from MUFON, despite the upheaval that may have caused and potential further resignations that may have followed from those who did not see the issue with what he wrote, I would never have joined. I believed, as I am sure the vast majority of the interested public believes, that he had been completely removed from MUFON and any attempt to return to the fold of this organization would have been completely and instantly rebuffed. However, as l have now discovered through discussion with MUFON, looking at the MUFON PA website and their list of upcoming speakers at their local conventions, and investigating the public comments from Mr. Ventre since his racist diatribe it is clear that this is not the case. I expect this evidence will be removed from these websites, as it is clear that this process has already begun taking place.

When I joined MUFON I had hoped to bring a scientific viewpoint and strong critique of ideas to this field. Sadly, it appears I will have to attempt that effort elsewhere. I am very grateful to those who gave me the opportunity to begin this process, and to those who believed in my plan moving forward. I am sorry that my trust was misplaced, and that your trust in me was not protected correctly.

Fake Sunrise...Fake Moon

“I saw a fake sunset once. Went camping in the summer of 1988 at Pleasant Hill Campgrounds in Ohio. My cousin and I spent the day with two girls at their side of the camp, and were heading back to our side around sunset. As we crested a hill that overlooks the lake we saw what looked like a sunset, but on the wrong side. As if it was setting in the east. The "sun" was also huge. I saw it and felt fear. I was like "What is that?!" My cousin dismissed it and was like "it's the sun, stupid." I go there every summer with my kids, and have an extremely vivid memory of that. I double checked, and it is the exact wrong side to see the sunset on.”

Vehicle Stalls & Missing Time

10/15/1976 23:00: My ex wife and I were driving from a gig. I thought that I would visit some relatives in Almena, Wisconsin and thought I would get there about 9 PM. In actuality I got into town about 1030 PM an decided to keep on driving south. It seems to me that I went under a highway bridge and within 5 mins/5 miles my truck was losing power, lights dimmed, radio lost station, and within 1 min the truck stalled and coasted to a stop. I tried repeatedly to start the vehicle and it was totally dead, not enough juice for interior lights. I thought we were there for less than an hour. A guy going the other way turned around and asked if he could help. He was a wrecker driver just off work at 3 AM. Told him the truck was dead. He looked under the hood for a moment and asked me to crank it. It fired right up. I expressed wonder and continued on. To this day I can't explain the truck failure, or the time discrepancy. I would be irate if I had to sit around for 4 hours, yet I felt lucky because I thought the samaritan found us right away. I know it sounds bogus but I am sure of all of these facts. - NUFORC

Experiencer's Escape Attempt and Humanoid Interaction

I flagged the following report a while ago, making an attempt to gathering additional information...which I was unable to do. The experiencer stated that this incident was an 'abduction to an underground facility." The information is somewhat similar to other accounts I have heard and read. The recognition of family members, alive or deceased, does seem to occur in many of these events...as well as future abduction scenarios repeated by the same experiencer. I'd be interested in your thoughts:

Rochester, NY - 12/3/1999 02:15: On the night of the event, I went to bed just after 2AM. I seemed to be having a strange dream. In the dream I was back in the house I grew up in. I was in my bedroom. What was odd about this so called dream, was that this bedroom didn't look at all like my bedroom. The furniture was not like bedroom furniture, it was more hospital-like. A person came in the room that appeared to look like my sister. We had conversation, then she left the room. Another person that looked like my mother came into the room. We also had conversation. I was told that I was tired and I needed to take a nap. I was told to go lay on my bed. When I approached the bed, I noticed it looked like a hospital bed. I remember thinking if this is supposed to be a dream, why am I seeing this.

I took a closer look at this bed and I noted a table to the right of the bed. On top of the table was some sort of rectangular device that was beige in color. There were wires coming out of the side of this box that connected to the bed. At the back of the box there were wires that went into the wall. I took my left hand and touched the bed. I could feel some sort of low electric current. I knew something was very wrong here. My first instinct was to run. I turned around and ran out of this room. To my left was a rampway. I ran down this rampway and around to the front of this sort of building. When I had taken to run, I heard someone say "Uh-oh". I turned around to see if anyone was following me. I saw a man in a light blue spandex looking outfit. I went to run. To the right of me was a person that looked like my deceased grandmother. She said "take me instead." At that point I realized I was not dreaming, I had become fully awake.

I feel as if I went into shock. My heart was beating so fast and I was shaking. I looked down, I had on the pajamas I had worn to bed and I was in my bare feet. I couldn't believe that this was happening to me. It would be very hard for me to describe the place because it was so unreal. As I was trying to run from this man chasing me, I looked ahead and there was another. He was leading a woman that appeared to be drugged. I felt I had nowhere to run, so I turned and faced my pursuer. He had his arm reached out to grab me. To avoid any bad repercussions I placed my hand in his hand. When I looked at the face of this man. His eyes were covered with some sort of visor but I could tell this man was not fully human. When I placed my hand in his hand he had a strange grin on his face. He then placed my hand on his groin area. The feeling I had was as if I was cattle.

I was lead over to what looked like an orange van and I noticed the van had no wheels. The back passenger door slid open as I was being put into the van. I remember praying out loud but could only repeat the same line over and over again "Our Father who art in heaven". Inside the van were what appeared to be three children around the age of twelve and they said to me "We worship too." I noticed the children's mouths weren't moving. I was sitting in the van opposite the children. The two beings in the blue got into the front compartment of the van. I could see into the front compartment because there was a glass partition above the seat I was sitting in. I noticed a control panel running along the front of the van interior. Then I turned to look at the three children. They were just watching me. I said to the children "aren't you afraid?" and they said "no, this has been happening all our lives."

I had then noticed the van had started ascending vertically. I looked at the children and I asked if we were from the same planet and they replied "yes". What struck me funny was that I was looking out the window and it was beautiful - looking at the lights of what appeared to be a city. These children were just watching me. At some point I remember asking "Why is this happening to me?" and "There is no God, otherwise he wouldn't let this happen to me." I became very angry and I turned and started banging on the glass partition. I felt something on the lower back section of my skull and lost consciousness.

The next thing I remember is being lead to a room by my initial pursuer. We were standing outside the doorway of a room. When I looked in the room I saw approximately fifteen people casually talking. They were all dressed in white. The being that was holding my hand started speaking to a man in the room to the right. The man in the room said to him "I'm not a telepath, you'll have to talk" at some point I heard 'GH3' and also the man's name which I will withhold at this time. The man to the right said "I'll tell them your ready." At this point I lose consciousness again.

When I awake I am in this orange-red lit room. I will keep this less graphic as possible. It was a non-human on top of me and I felt as if my upper arms were restrained. I reached up and touched the face. It was definitely not human skin. I looked to my right and could see where the red light was emanating from. There was a run of lights pulsating the orange-red color. This lighting made it rather difficult to make out things in the room clearly. The being on top of me was making a strange non-human type of noise that sounded almost like a lion purring but faster. I looked to my left there were other exam tables and a person lying on it and the same was happening to these people as was happening to me. I tried to fight this but was totally helpless. I lost consciousness again.

I came to in my bedroom with excruciating pain in my lower abdomen. I looked at my clock, it was 4:01 AM. I tried to get out of my bed, but it was very hard. I felt drugged. I started to cry and scream at the same time. I have three older children in my house that are very light sleepers. I sat on my floor crying and screaming for a good ten minutes. Not one of them heard a thing at 4:01 AM but one of them at around 2:20 AM heard a commotion in my bedroom but went to sleep. When I went to use the bathroom I had found physical evidence that something had happened to me. 1 1/2 hours later the man's name that I heard in the white room to the right I found on the Internet. I pulled up at picture of him and it was the same man. This man is known in the UFO community. Whether or not this is the actual man, I don't know. If they can make me think I am seeing my mother, sister and grandmother then they could also make me see someone else whom I've never met. - NUFORC

Abduction Memory Flooded Back

I recently received the following account:

In the summer of 1983, I was 14 years of age. I lived in a rural area in central Michigan. One night for some unknown reason I woke at about 1PM, and was immediately 'drawn' to the window in my room. I looked out the window and saw a very bright light land behind my house in the edge of the woods. I figure it was about a mile out. Once the bright light landed it did illuminate enough to see a glow in the woods and adjacent field. I honestly don't know why, but I was drawn outside. If I had to guess, I would say it was an unknown 'sound' or frequency that drew me outdoors. I remember knowing I was not supposed to be out of bed, let alone outside, but I couldn't resist.

After I walked out onto the porch and down the steps, I was greeted by a being in the backyard. It was slightly taller than me with a long neck, oversized head and large oval shaped eyes, including long fingers and toes. The overall color of the skin was grey/green and it had no clothing. When I came upon it, it took my hand and we walked across the yard to the back fence. Once I passed the fence into the woods heading out, I do not recall anything further. But what I do remember is a feeling of friendliness and curiosity...I suppose by both of us. There was no fear. I remember the sounds of the night, and the feel of the warm damp air.

I had not thought of that night until I was in college when my friend and I went into a book store and I saw the book 'Communion' (Whitley Strieber's book) for the first time. I started hyperventilating and feeling weak in the knees as the memory flooded back. The major difference in looks is that the "Grey" on the cover of the book looked menacing, though my experience was much different.

After that, I avoided anything regarding alien abductions, whether it in books or movies for many years. I now feel so far removed from the experience that I am comfortable relating it. I don’t know what it means or if anything happened or even if it really happened. Was it possible it was a dream? I did once talk to a hypnotist when I was in my early 30’s and described my memory to him. He was a member of an abduction hypnotherapy group. He indicated that based on his experience, my details were too heavy and too much physical memory for it to be just a dream. He wanted very much for me to follow up with him, but I never did.

I have done very little research, as I was checking out sites on the web, when I came across your site and decided to volunteer my information and see what came back. Perhaps this is the time for me to do further investigation on this and determine if it were real or not. I see that in the mid 1960s there were a number of sightings in Michigan. However that was years before my time.

So here is your information. Do with it what you will. If it ties into other types of reports, perhaps this will be of benefit. Thanks. TP
