In outer space, you can never be sure what time it is. An extraterrestrial mothership returns some United States Navy pilots that were previously beamed up, along with their individual aircraft, over the Bermuda Triangle back in 1945, whence they were reported missing. This scene was powerfully depicted in Columbia Picture’s 1977 movie classic, Close Encounters of the Third Kind
More than a Fantasy

The truth behind the UFO enigma may be as close as your nearest video rental. My, how time flies! Last year we celebrated the fortieth anniversary of visionary director Steven Spielberg’s movie classic, Close Encounters of the Third Kind. Even in today’s digital age, one must admit that the technical quality and awe-inspiring story of the film still evoke a strong feeling that the government has been applying the “mushroom principle” with regards to disclosure concerning the real nature of the phantom objects and their mysterious occupants. In other words, all along the “powers-that-be” have treated the American people like mushrooms. They continue to cultivate our minds and ways of thinking about the flying saucers by constantly keeping us in the dark and feeding us a lot of manure.

The unusual circumstances surrounding the production of Close Encounters have led many to believe that the movie may have been portraying actual events. Replete with conspiracy theories surrounding it, freak storms, threats from the National Aeronautics and Space Administration and other government agencies against the producers and Columbia Pictures, it seems the truth may be far stranger than the science fiction that Close Encounters purportedly portrays.

When Spielberg was a boy in elementary school back in New Jersey, his father took him outside one evening to watch a meteor shower. Ever since that fateful night, Spielberg wondered if there was anything else out there beyond some very remote twinkling stars and flickering orbs. In other words, he pondered the existence of life beyond the Earth. By 1964, at the age of 17, the aspiring Spielberg directed a low-budget science fiction film, Firelight, but it attracted little attention. However, by 1975 and the astounding success he had with Jaws, the world beat a path to his door and offers quickly piled up. This made it possible for the young director to make a big picture about any subject that he wanted to pursue. Naturally, he turned his attention to his first love of extraterrestrials visiting the Earth in their interplanetary spaceships.

Spielberg wanted to create an informed movie about the reality of UFOs as piloted extraterrestrial spaceships. To this end, he hired Northwestern University astronomer, Dr. J. Allen Hynek, as his technical consultant. While most astronomers generally attract little notice, Hynek gained quite a reputation worldwide while serving in the capacity as a scientific advisor to the United States Air Force on UFOs from 1947-1969. Spielberg reasoned that if anyone knew the truth about the elusive flying saucers, it was Dr. J. Allen Hynek.

Movie Depictions Based on Fact

In the most astounding of films, Close Encounters of the Third Kind reveals the existence of an ABOVE TOP SECRET interplanetary exchange program. In the last scenes, the moviegoer notes twelve highly trained people preparing to board the mothership as the extraterrestrials are releasing back to the custody of United States authorities sundry individuals from the past that had been abducted by them and allegedly transported to distant worlds in outer space. That this scene is in the movie causes one to speculate what Hynek must have told Spielberg about any real such projects undertaken by the United States government in the past.

As the owner of five acres at Tee-Pee Ranch on Horse Mountain, outside of Datil, New Mexico, I can look down into the Plains of San Agustin and see the massive radio telescope array below. This is a site of the National Radio Observatory where the high resolution microwave survey of the universe is being conducted, and the radio astronomers search the heavens for distant signals from extraterrestrial civilizations. But fellow land owners and residents of Datil, Magdalena, Pie Town, Socorro and other small towns in the area have confided to me that sometime back in the mid-1960s there did, indeed, exist some kind of an ABOVE TOP SECRET exchange program of the United States government with the emissaries of another planet; and that the exchange took place on the Plains of San Agustin.

Allegedly, the exchange was code-named OPERATION CRYSTAL NIGHT as was carried out as part of PROJECT SERPO. According to Alex Nelson, an independent investigative journalist in the United Kingdom, “The story goes that a team of twelve humans travelled to Serpo (a distant planet) with a survivor of the infamous Roswell flying saucer crash, after the establishment of a relationship between the American government and the people of its home world. The closing scenes of Close Encounters depict twelve people trained and ready to board the mothership, ten men and two women. The numbers match the original story, which claims the personnel visited the planet between 1965 and 1978. All of them have since allegedly died, due to exposure to high radiation levels during the trip.”

Nelson tells us that PROJECT SERPO was not widely known until 2005, when a group of “former military insiders” testified that such an exchange actually did occur out in New Mexico. But Spielberg apparently knew all about it from Hynek back in 1977; and he customized his movie to match the real scenario. Wow! This movie has proven to be a thorn in the side for the National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) ever since.

The investigative journalist further explains: “Some say Dr. Hynek passed information to the director that NASA did not want made public. Interestingly, in a 1978 edition of the now defunct Cinema Papers magazine, Spielberg said: ‘If NASA took the time to write me a 20-page letter, I knew there must be something happening. When they read the script, they got very angry and felt that it was a film that would be dangerous.”

Close Encounters opens with a scene where a group of five Grumman TBM Avenger torpedo bombers that had disappeared out over the Bermuda Triangle on 5 December 1945, suddenly reappear in perfect condition in the middle of a sandstorm on the Sonora desert in Northern Mexico, but minus their crews. The planes, collectively known as Flight 19, lost contact during a United States Navy overwater navigation training flight that deployed from the Fort Lauderdale, Florida, Naval Air Station. All fourteen of the Navy airmen on the planes were lost, along with thirteen crew members of a Martin PBM Mariner flying boat that followed up on the missing Avengers, being launched from the Banana River Naval Air Station on the same day. The Banana River station was also located in Florida and was turned over to the Air Force in 1948. It is now known as Patrick Air Force Base. Navy investigators have never been able to explain what happened to these planes or their respective crews. It’s interesting that Hynek did not object to Spielberg making the disappearance of Flight 19 the key element in his cinematic masterpiece.

Valiant Thor and the Missing Inuit Village

Recently on the Rense Radio website, I posted a series of photos taken by the prominent New Jersey photographic journalist, August C. Roberts, of those in attendance at a 13 July 1958 meeting of the Highbridge, New Jersey, Flying Saucer Club, where the famous contactee Howard Menger was presenting a lecture on his encounters with Venusians and other extraterrestrial visitors throughout his life, as well as some of his conjectures on the nature of various UFO events taking place around the world. All of these photographs included the official seal of August C. Roberts on the back side of each, together with his typed comments about who and what was depicted in each respective photograph. Along with the photographs, I posted an article written by August C. Roberts following the event, “The Val Thor Story,” that ultimately made its way to the files of comic book, science fiction and UFO writer, Otto Binder, who Roberts was co-producing a series of flying saucer books with.

After the meeting ended, however, Roberts collected various pages of notes left by the mysterious Valiant Thor, who presented credentials as a South African journalist. Thor had written down the highlights of Menger’s lecture; and I published all of the pages with the exception of two, due to their sensitive nature, also on Jeff Rense’s site. There was one account in the notes that really caught my attention, however; and that concerned the disappearance of an entire Inuit village up in the far north of Canada. It seems that back in November 1930, Joe Labelle, a fur trapper quite familiar with the Canadian North country, walked into an Inuit village on the edge of Lake Anjikuni. But this was unlike any other day that Labelle had experienced in this frozen land, for the entire village of Anjikuni had been suddenly and inexplicably abandoned by its inhabitants. To our neighbors to the North, this Inuit ghost settlement has earned itself the title of being the “Roswell of the North.” Labelle discovered a recently abandoned stew and piles of clothing. He also came across food stored in huts. This gave him every indication that the local inhabitants never intended to leave. And even more puzzling, as the fur trapper dug deep beneath the snow, he found a burial ground with disturbed and empty graves, along with a pack of buried sled dogs that appeared to have been starved to death. The Royal Canadian Mounted Police have continued their search for answers, up to this very day. Numerous Canadian ufologists attribute the sudden disappearance of the Inuit villagers to the reports of UFOs seen over Hudson Bay on the very night the First Nation peoples of Anjikuni vanished into thin air.

Ohio Truck Stop Abduction

I was laying down in the truck at a Pilot truck stop about 9 miles south of Ashtabula, Ohio on 3/10/2018 at 1PM. I always cover my windows to keep all lights out and lock all the doors. I had backed in, so the front of my truck was facing the storefront.

Typically, I'm out by 11:30 pm, but I kept getting a ringing sound in my right ear and was having trouble with my knee (previous injury, unrelated). The last thing I remember is starting the truck around 12:30 am to let the heat run. Then, it seemed almost instantly I'm floating on to a table. The table felt high up, maybe 5-6'. I couldn't move anything. My head was turned to my right shoulder. It felt locked there. I was overwhelmed with fear and could feel myself attempting to cry out for help. Two very small 3.5-4' grey skinned creatures were to my right that I could see. Everyone describes gray aliens different than these guys looked. Their entire body was stubby their heads were almost too short for their eyes, which were very large like other people describe. It was more over the shape of their face that look different than typical photos you see. Where are the photos you typically see show them elongated in the face, these two look like it was almost smush down and like they were squinting with wrinkles between the eyes. I couldn't speak or cry out, but I started to realize what was going on, so I thought in my head (best way to describe) for them to please help me relax. I understood what was going on but I could not calm down. Once I thought that, I could move my arms. So I reached out towards one with my right arm and it held my hand. I did the same with my left arm and although I couldn't see it something grabbed my left hand. Their hand was very soft warm but cold, and felt kind of like a toddler's hand feels (smooshy). Once I was holding with both my hands I could not stop smiling. I was completely relaxed and all I could feel was happiness. The one holding my hand on the right I believe is the one who was talking to me. It asked if I was sure that I wanted to remember this time, and I told it I was not sure, but I was unsure of why it said this time. It was then that I realized that I've been visited several times, I believe th! e first time was when I was five. I recalled a small devil like creature coming through the wall to my room. I had a bunk bed with no bottom bed, and it just floated straight up to my face. I immediately screamed, my dad came running in and found me in the far corner by my closet door. Being a kid, I told him the devil came for me. Now that I'm older I realize it wasn't a devil it was one of those creatures. The next instance wasn't until I was 9 to 10 years old. As I was going upstairs to bed I stopped at the Landing. Outside of the window there was a saucer-shaped disc silver in color almost Gray with a large orange Dome on top of it. I thought that I had immediately went downstairs to get my dad. But when I went to go get him to tell him what happened he asked what I was doing still up. Apparently I had been upstairs for almost an hour, I thought it was only a matter of seconds. After telling my dad what had happened, he grabbed or old VCR camcorder went upstairs with me, and videotaped this craft which was still hovering outside the window! After about 10 to 15 seconds, it shot off and was gone. My dad went downstairs and called Airborne Express, which is the local DHL type company that was in business at the time. He reported the incident to them as well as Wright-Patt Air Force Base. No one reported seeing it they said that nothing was showing up on radars around that time and that it was probably a coincidence. However the next morning when we woke up nothing was on the tape whatsoever. On top of that we had a large pine tree outside of that window. It was laying on the ground and completely black on one side like it immediately burnt partially and then died. There was no other scaring to the ground anything like that.

Enough of that back to the present. So I'm laying on the table and I can feel other hands around me on my legs my arms my ear, and then I feel a hard pressure around my genitals. Like a pump, but with pain like a heat/pain. I'm completely distracted while all this is going on though because the creature to my left is now alone it's just me and him with my view. He's telling me all kinds of things about meeting me in the past, but I can't recall what he was saying. I do recall him saying that I would forget things if I wasn't ready, and unfortunately he had no control over whether or not I would remember. He could only allow me to remember what I wanted to remember. About the time that I really calm down and stop feeling like I was going to have a heart attack, everyone was gone. I woke up in the truck laying on my back on top of my blankets. The truck was still running, but every light on the dash was lit up and alarms were going off on it, so I shut it off thinking it was overheating. I turned it back on a couple seconds later and everything was fine. The whole ordeal did not come to me until after I realize the truck was okay. I immediately started freaking out, and then I heard the same voice again telling me everything was okay remember what I could he would see me soon.

I feel like possibly over the years I have developed a friendship possibly with this creature, but I'm not sure of that. Honestly I'm not really sure I even believe myself, however I can tell you that those other two instances definitely did occur when I was younger and I always wanted to know why they happened. I've always had a interest in Aliens, but nothing more than any other young boy does. I've never fantasized about being abducted I've honestly been freaked out about the thought of it, so I don't think that My Mind is Playing Tricks on Me or that I had a dream. Another good note to add is I do not think that these creatures had a gender. The only reason why I say that is the voice in my head that was talking to me did not appear to be male or female. I did wake up with a slight nose-bleed my right nostril, I had a headache and continued to have a headache all day. I had very irregular bowel movements and uncomfortable feeling inside my penis almost like pressure in! ternally. I do not drink alcohol. I do not do drugs. And to the best of my knowledge I have no mental illness from either side of my family that is known. I have never been a sleepwalker, and I don't tend to have very many nightmares. I wish I could remember more of what happened. Although I would definitely be terrified if this occurs again, I hope that I can be more open to it when it does though. I know they will be back because I recall the creature saying it would see me again soon. The beginning of the encounter was very intrusive and it felt embarrassing. They seem to just do what they needed to do, and then they comforted me. I will say that I agree with others about the whole pure love feeling. I definitely felt as though it possibly genuinely cared about me. I'm not entirely sure that it did, but it was a very comforting feeling.

One other thing I do recall it asking me was if I remembered them fixing me when I ruined my ability to reproduce. I didn't answer then that I'm aware of but I think I know what they were talking about. When I was on a deployment to Iraq, we would restart the radars standing in range of them. We were warned if we did that we could become sterile. So I used to do it everyday joking that I did not need to have any more kids, as I had already had 3 at the time. I did wake up several nights with nosebleeds in Iraq, but in my opinion I believe at least most of those was due to the desert air. I hope my story has helped and some way shape or form, and I would love anyone can give me any information to help me understand what happened. If I have another encounter I will post it. These are not all of the details of this event I'm not very good at writing out things, and I only wanted to ride out what I was sure of. - NUFORC

A Week's Worth of 'Glitches'

“I've had weird sh*t like that happen to me before. I was sitting in the living room of a friends while a couple of us were hanging out one night. For some reason MASH was on TV and no one was really paying attention, one of them was messing around with a Nerf gun and shot it towards the TV just as I looked over in the direction of the gun I saw another friend walk back inside from a smoke break. I'm not sure what happened immediately after, but I can recall looking back over towards the TV and seeing another Nerf dart flying past. My instinct was to look over, but just as I began to suddenly time felt very slow. I had the strange sense I needed to look over towards the door and as I did my friend was walking back inside from his smoke break just as I saw him do a few seconds ago. Immediately, whatever it is I just experienced I knew was completely and utterly unnatural so I had a major panic attack and spent the entirety of the next day in my bed. I can even remember that night as I lay trying to sleep, I somehow began a dream in the exact position I was laying in and I remember wanting to get out of bed to talk to my mom and not realizing I was actually asleep until I walked through the hallway into a totally an almost empty living room with a digital clock on the table that said "hello" causing me to immediately shoot out of bed. The following morning I went to go to the bathroom and my sense of touch was so delayed that I didn't realize I hadn't let go of the door handle and swung around. Luckily my foot hitched at the door before I crashed to the floor but all the same it was all an extremely unsettling experience and I couldn't shake the slightly detached feeling for the rest of that week. It all sounds cool and interesting but these things are NOT supposed to happen, our psyche cannot handle it and our brain will freak out trying to explain what the hell was just witnessed. The second- the SECOND you genuinely question reality, your physical and mental "bodies" skew and it's the most utterly terrifying feeling. And maybe it can all be explained by the brain short-circuiting but when you get into the deeper meaning of it, reality is set by logic and what we experience and the fact it can so easily be tweaked is the truly frightening thought.”

Suburban 'Gorilla'

I recently received the following account:

This occurred around 1998-99 to a close friend of mine who just recently brought it up again, which compelled me to write in. I usually don’t like to recount other people’s stories, but my friend would never be the type to share this experience with you or any other individual he didn’t personally know, so here I am.

My friend’s family lived on a busy street in Wayne, NJ. Behind the house was a pool and deck with a yard and wooded area beyond. One summer afternoon, he, his brother, and his mother were sitting around the pool on the deck when they heard an unusual rustling up a tree on the fringe of the wooded area. Looking up they saw, what my friend described, as a large, brown gorilla-like creature. It was perched on a branch while vigorously shaking another smaller branch above it which was causing the loud ruffling sound that had caught their attention.

As they stared at this thing dumbfounded, they were close enough to realize that it was staring right back at them as it shook the branch. Then, after about a minute, it dissolved into the treetops and deeper into the woods. It was the summer so they quickly lost sight of it among the dense foliage and didn’t dare trail it into the woods due to the freakiness of it all.

The next day, I was invited over to hang out and go swimming at his pool and that’s when he told me what had happened the previous day. As he was telling me, he pointed out the tree and branch on which the “gorilla” appeared. It was a towering tulip poplar, and the branch which he pointed out had to be about 50-55 feet high. I asked him why they didn’t call the police and he said that if they ever saw it again they would.

To this day, my friend will say that he and his family still do not know what it was, but in the same breath he’ll also say it had to be a guy in a gorilla suit because there is no other explanation. If it were a guy in a gorilla suit, he would have been extraordinarily athletic since he was able to climb roughly 50 feet up a bare trunk and acrobatically maneuver from tree to tree.

I also asked him if it could have been someone’s pet monkey, but he said it was too big and was definitely either an ape or a person dressed like one. There are no zoos remotely close from which a gorilla could have escaped, and if there was such an animal on the loose, I’m sure it would have been big news. I suppose we’ll never know who or what it was in the treetops of Wayne that day. - Keith in NJ

NOTE: Wayne, NJ is in Passaic County, New Jersey, less than twenty miles from midtown New York City. That being said, you cannot rule out that this may have been a Bigfoot-like being, since there are several fair-sized wooded areas in the vicinity. Lon

“In Puerto Rico I saw one of those (a strange man with translucent skin who didn't appear human). I was 20 years old when it happened, now I'm 39. I really think it was an alien. It could not walk that well, a few things got my attention. It had the right hand in the left. What I mean, the fingers were backwards. Where there was supposed to be the pinky was the thumb. It also walked with difficulty and when I look at its feet I saw that were the same as his hands, in the wrong place. The skin was was translucent... it looked really weak. I didn't feel scared. I just felt calm and with the need to go where it was. When it talked to me, it was talking part with its lips and part in my mind. It asked me if I knew where the the Arecibo Observatory was. The Arecibo Observatory is a radio telescope in the municipality of Arecibo, Puerto Rico. It is also the biggest in the world. I didn't have time to answer when I saw a blue flash of light and I black out. I woke up sitting on the balcony of my house two hours later. When I saw it it was 11:00 pm and when I woke up it was 1:00 am. I would like to be hypnotized to know what happened to me during those two hours of lost time. I live in Philadelphia now. But I have a house in Puerto Rico where that happened. That's one of my crazy experiences."

'Silver Monkeys'

I recently received the following account:

It was in 1952 and I was about 10 years old at the time. I was spending the summer at my aunt and uncle’s summer house on Pretty Lake in Dousman, WI. The property bordered the small lagoon portion of the lake.

I was playing in front of the house which was parallel to the lagoon. At some point, I got up and walked to the side of the house that was facing away from the lake. I saw about 5 "things" standing on top of each other trying to reach the bathroom window. The window was just a small opening that opened outwards and opened from the top, not the bottom. I was shocked that these "silver monkeys" were trying to get into the house. I started running to go into the house and tell my aunt, and then everything went blank.

I know that I never did tell her about the silver monkeys because in the evening, she was giving me a bath and I asked her to close the window because I did not want the silver monkeys to come in. She said there were no silver monkeys. Have you ever heard of a similar sighting in the area? KL

Loud Glowing Craft Lands in Colorado

Red Feather Lakes, CO - 1975-04-14: I was camping in a small camp trailer with my wife and 2 week old infant son near Dowdy Lake at Red Feather Lakes, Colorado. Even though it was early in the season we went past the regular campground and set up in the trees about 100 yards beyond the improved camping area. It rained off and on from a couple hours ending at approximately 9:30 p.M. Baby was asleep and we went to bed at approximately 10:00 p.M. Within about 10 minutes we heard a sound which is hard to describe as it was different from any other sound I had ever heard. We both froze immediately and did not move again during the main time of the event. We were both in a state of terror and I could not move until the object began to fly away. There was a red glow and the shadows changed as it settled to the ground. The sound was a high pitched whirring/ mechanical/ metallic sound. The shadows moved again as the object made a higher pitched sound and rose out of the trees and I could move again. As I sat up I saw a glowing red orb, slightly disc shaped fly from nearly overhead to a spot approximately 5 miles south in about 5 seconds at which point it settled again beyond a ridge in that direction. We saw or heard nothing else that night.

The next morning I found a circular spot 30 or 40 feet from the camper. The soil there is granular and sandy and it had been tossed to the outside of the circle like what a dirt bike would move the soil but there was no start point or end point and it was perfectly round. Also the soil in the groove and the entire center of the circle was dry even though the rest of the soil around was still wet from the rain the evening before. We left shortly after first light still frightened. I stopped at the ranger station and asked if there had been any aerial vehicles in the area the previous night, like a helicopter or something but they said no. - MUFON

Mystery Woman Crying in Cemetery at Night

A young woman showing up at a cemetery and crying in front of a grave for five nights in a row has caused a stir in Turkey's central city of Çorum.

Employees at the Grand (Ulu) Cemetery located in the city's Çepni neighborhood saw the unidentified woman, believed to be 17 or 18 years of age, on the night of April 26, crying next to a grave. The same girl was also seen near the grave of Fatma Ç., who died in 1982, in the next three nights. The issue turned into a local sensation, prompting officials to left a note by the grave on April 30, asking the girl to contact them if she needs help or support.

The police launched a search operation to find the girl as the locals were both curious and frightened by the incident. Many locals arrived in the scene to see whether the girl will come by the grave, only to be turned away by the police.

Large Winged Humanoid Observed in Wheeling, IL

I received a telephone call on Tuesday May 1, 2018 at 12:50 AM ET. This was approximately one hour after the incident.

The witness was calling for his parents, who stated that they witnessed a large winged humanoid flying above the trees and creek behind their residence. They were in the residence and observed the being for up to 30 seconds. They went out on their balcony to get a better look and possibly get a photograph, but the winged being had moved south and out of vision.

When I was talking to the witnesses' son, I could hear them in the background...they seemed a bit shook and had their son make the call.

I asked the son to get as much information as possible and to forward it to my email. I received the following email the next day:

Monday 4/30/2018 - 10:50 PM CT - Wheeling, IL - Seemed to be around 6 ft in height, the wings were sticking out as if they were arms at the front of the body. The wings seemed to be perfectly stretched out with no movement of flapping to keep flying, but yet it kept gliding above the creek in the back of our apartment. The wings weren't straight flat although perfectly stretched out. They were facing upward in an angle. Flew over (REDACTED) and disappeared into the woods in the back of the (REDACTED). This thing was also flying at 10 mph or so. This was witnessed by 2 people not just a single person. Husband and wife both saw this. BF

NOTE: I was later told that the wings were like those of a large bat and dark in color. The witnesses shared their names and contact information with me. Grey Alien and Box-Shaped Craft

This occurred in December 2014 near Morgantown, WV. It was around 2:30 am EST, I opened my sliding glass doors on the bottom floor of our house, facing the Southwest direction. This is where I smoke. It is also very common for me to wake and smoke throughout the night. I proceeded to light my cigarette and was on my smartphone, when I looked up and saw it. I have a short backyard, about 15 ft, and then it slopes upward at a 45 degree angle for approximately 40 ft, to a road with a newly built vacant house on the other side of the road. This house always has the outside light on.

At the top of the hill, there was a black box shaped mass approximately 8ft long and 6ft tall. Next to this there was the being, which looked like a classic grey, 4-5ft tall, but long skinny arms. The being had one arm on the mass as if to be leaning or bracing itself on it. The being was clear to see due to the light of the vacant house shining behind it.

This lasted for only 2-3 seconds, as my mind processed what I was looking at, and then my fear rushed over me like I have never felt before. I had the immediate feeling the being wanted me to see it, since it was standing directly in front of the vacant house light for me to see. It then moved quit strangely, almost like a sliding mechanical way, smooth, quick, graceful and without a sound. I have never seen anything living move like this before, which elevated my fear more.

I stood there looking for approximately for another 8-10 seconds and then yelled, “You’re freaking me out”. I closed and locked the door, turned off the TV and lights, and ran upstairs, jumping into bed with my wife, where I laid awake waiting for sunrise so I could go check out the premises of the sighting. Transparent Manta Ray-Shaped UFO

Manta Ray Shape UFO in Miami, FL, on 9/19/2015 at 8:45pm.

I was outside looking the stars. The night was with no clouds and clear. It was nice for me to see what I can describe as a Manta Ray Shape UFO. It comes from North West to south west. It was transparent, I can see the stars through that. It was huge and moves smoothly.

That Manta has no lights at all, no sound. It has like a gray or white border around the shape and that is the reason I can tell it was like a Manta Ray. Very impressive.

Seeing the 'Easter Bunny'

“I have a very vague memory of seeing the "Easter Bunny" myself. I was young, maybe three or four years old. I barely remember it, and only even remembered it hearing this story. It was a large rabbit, human sized but a large human. I was in my bed, and had just woken up upon hearing something. It may have been a sleep paralysis thing, I don't know. But I do remember it, and I remember telling people that the Easter Bunny was definitely real and that I'd seen it.... I did have other sleep paralysis episodes as a child. Few and far between, buy I remember having them. I imagine that's what it was. My father was kind of taken aback at me telling him about what I saw. I believe that he told me it was him, to calm me down. IDK, I wish I could remember more about it.”

'Jack the Ripper' Postcard Sold

A postcard believed to have been sent by Jack the Ripper warning of two murders has been sold at auction.

The note, which was sent to Ealing police station, warns the killer's knife "is still in good order".

The card is dated 29 October 1888, which was 11 days before Mary Kelly - believed to be Jack the Ripper's final victim - was murdered on 9 November.

The 2.75-inch by 4.75-inch card, sold for £22,000.

The card once belonged to a Metropolitan Police constable who was given it when he retired from the force in 1966.

The card, which had an estimate of £600 to £900 prior to sale, states: "Beware there is two women I want here and I mean to have them my knife is still in good order it is a students knife and I hope you liked the kidney.

Shocking! 'Bat-Winged Humanoid' Confrontation in Milwaukee

I received the following account on Monday May 1, 2018:

Hello,

I discovered your website after doing some looking around on the web regarding flying creature reports. After reading through your blog I felt comfortable to report what happened to me and my boyfriend recently in Milwaukee, WI.

This occurred on April 13, 2018 at about 10-10:30 PM. We were parked in the parking lot next to the (REDACTED) which is right off of (REDACTED). I do not wish to discuss what we were parked there for, suffice to say it's a dark place to park at night.
My boyfriend looked up and totally freaked out when he says he saw a pair of large glowing red eyes staring right back at him. I looked up and saw something standing in front of my car with two glowing red eyes. It made a sound of chirping sound that we heard when we turned down the radio. When we moved, it put what looked like a hand on the hood of the car and then we saw what looked like wings spread wide open. I panicked and turned on the car which automatically turned on my headlights and it lit up what looked like a large bat. It had black skin that looked like glossy, wet leather that shined in the light. It then screamed at us, pushing its head out and its arms back and then flew up into the air. You could hear the wings flapping as it jumped up and within a few seconds, it landed behind my car, its body still able to be seen when I pressed the brakes and the brake lights shined.

Both of us were screaming at this point when it flew back up in the air and landed about 6 feet from the passenger side door where my boyfriend sat. We wasted no time in trying to get out of there. As we backed up and whipped the car around, we saw it land in front of us off to the side of the car about 3 feet away. I honked my horn and turned on my brights and it screamed again and flew up into the air. We screeched onto (REDACTED) and headed toward I think it was (REDACTED) when my boyfriend says he saw it land again just off the road on his side of the car. We did not stop to investigate and floored the car to get out of there. We got onto (REDACTED) and were passing the apartment buildings when we saw something fly right over the car, lower than the lamp post, screaming as it flew out of sight.

We got to my house and stayed in the car for about 15-20 minutes, I was hysterical and crying and my boyfriend was shaken up. It took me anouther 30 minutes to get myself together and go drop off my boyfriend and drive myself back home. I have had repeated nightmares since then and it's been difficult to sleep without the closet light on. My boyfriend also says he has had nightmares.

I hope you believe me and that you don't think I'm crazy. It could not have been a large bird like some people seem to say it might be. I know whatever it was must have been intelligent, it's just a feeling that I have that tells me so.

I contacted the witness and received the following information:

I estimate it stood about 7 feet tall, and the wingspan has to been about 7-8 feet or more wide. I almost got the feeling like it was toying with us, it knew we were scared sh*tless and it toyed with that by scaring us even further.

As far as physical reactions, it took me a few hours to finally get back to somewhat normal. I threw up twice just from jitters and I had a feeling like I was being watched, even though the curtains were closed.

Currently, I still feel like I'm being watched, almost like I'm marked in some way. Last night was the first night I slept without the lights being on and it took me about an hour and half to finally fall asleep. It's put me off to wanting to go out at night anymore, even though I have to to in order to finish college by July.

We've been out to that same spot countless times previous and this is the first time we've seen this thing. JR

NOTE: One of the more horrifying encounters I've ever run across. The sightings in Wisconsin are picking up...so it seems that there are now 2 metro areas involved with this phenomenon. The witness shared her name and contact information with me...and Tobias is also planning to investigate the location. I Killed My Alien Hybrid Child

I recently received the following account:

I have been visited since 1974. I had missing time many times over the past 44 years, and have been abducted countless times.

I did have one experience in 1999 that I have reoccurring dreams...a night that happened at my home in northern Wisconsin. I remember being taken from my bed, being lead into my living room. I remember seeing things around me. I was shown a young girl 12 years old or so.

I remember knowing that I was the child's father. I remember being so angry, so that I was used over years to create this abomination. I had, for as long as I can remember, maybe 25 years kept a gun in my bed, under my pillow. I had it in my hand. I remember being so angry that I was able to pull free, I shot the girl. I am a Law Enforcement Officer. Since that day, I put it away, and I have trouble handling it.

After shooting the girl, I remember being punished. I have had lumps in my arms that hurt and remain today.

All this time I hesitate to tell anyone else about any of my sighting, I did report my story to MUFON. They called me and made me feel like a criminal. GB

Insectoid Encounter

Pembroke Pines. FL 10/24/2014: Walking the dog around the neighborhood and came around a curve in the sidewalk/street. I noticed something unusual and stopped walking, staring at it, trying to figure out exactly what I was seeing. The dog seemed more annoyed I’d made him stop, he did not bark or react in any way.

There was a figure ahead of me, about 10 feet away, standing in the swale area, between the sidewalk & street. It was not facing me. It was skeletal thin or bony, taller than my 5’3”, white or light grayish skin, no hair, there was something blue near it’s left ear?

At first, I thought maybe it was a spiritual type being, but clearly was not human. It sensed I was staring at it, looked over its right shoulder; looked at me, then looked down at the dog, immediately started to run, slanty into the middle of the street & down the street. It’s knees were backwards. As it ran, it began to gradually fade, like the edges of it kept disappearing until ! I couldn’t see it any more. A friend suggested it sounded like an insect-type alien or praying mantis alien.

I’m in my late 50’s, don’t drink or get stoned, and this is not a Halloween prank. I would really love to know if anyone knows what this might be. - NUFORC

'Hovering' Airliner?

“Back in 1980 I had two plane encounters with two different people. Hanging out at the party spot in the woods with a buddy listening to rock and killing some beer I placed my cigarette in the ashtray to change the tape. I removed the tape and put in some Floyd and at that moment my cigarette flew out of the ashtray and hit Bob right in the face. We were like Holy sh*t. Ten minutes later I saw a bright light off in the distance and joked about a cop helicopter coming to get us. 30 minutes later it was still there. We were like, 'That's weird!' So I started flashing my headlights. That's when things got good. Before we knew it, it was only 100 yards away at tree top level and closing in now slowly. It lit the woods up with a brilliant white light and soon we were illuminated in it. We could not see what it was for the light was blinding so we took off running through a field. We ran and did not look back. We came across a drainage ditch and dove in together. The light no longer upon us we rolled on to our backs and could not believe what was just hovering above us at 50 feet. Older Accounts of 'Gargoyle' Encounters in Illinois

I recently received 2 older accounts oF Gargoyle-like beings:

I am now 32 and this story is coming out of Rock Island, Illinois, about 3 hours away from Chicago. In about the year 1997 I remember my mom having to work 3rd shift. She asked me to run out to the car and get something for her before she went to work. This was about 9 or 10pm and all of a sudden I heard something make a big whoosh that sounded like ginormous wings right above my head.

So I looked up (we lived right in front of the Chippiannock Cemetery...that never ever scared me mind you even at night) and I looked up at street light across the street from our house (but that night the light wasn't on it went out). So I remember looking up and all of a sudden I seen a figure with red eyes looking back at me and it was just sitting there and I could tell it had huge Wings down at its side.

So I ran back in the house and told my mom that I just seen this thing out there and told her what it was. I don't know if she believe me or not but she was like, "that ain't nothing but the devil after yo a**". So I was scared. So after that I went to my room and lay down and all of the sudden I heard the whooshing sound by my window. I can't remember if I had seen anything or not. I just heard the sound again and I was just terrified. So I just close my blinds, turned my TV on and fell asleep.

Whatever I seen that night I don't know if they call it a devil or what, but it was real. I remember it probably being about 5 ft tall in the wings had to be pretty large because I remember when it was looking at me from on top of the the light pole, its wings were kind of like hanging down as so if it was wrapped up and they look pretty big. From that day on I believe all the sightings that I've been hearing about were true. I've been hearing about it for years.

NOTE: I called the witness and she described the incident in detail. She stated that it reminded her of a Gargoyle and that the eyes were quite bright and that there small protrusions or horns on the head. It seemed that the incident still bothers her to this day...very believable. Lon

I also received the following account:

I was a senior in high school, taking a late night ride with my boyfriend near his house in Naperville/Lisle, Illinois. We were sneaking out to have a cigarette. As we were driving along a street, slowly with both windows completely down (had a Mustang and didn’t want to wake the neighborhood with his loud exhaust)...we heard a loud screech in the distance.

We looked at each other and confirmed that we both had heard the same thing. He slowed down to a complete stop to listen. All of the sudden, coming from the left side of the driver's side of the front windshield appeared this Gargoyle-like thing. It was about 4 feet in length, with wings, front claws, Reptilian like skin and big glowing eyes. The color is hard to remember, it was almost transparent like...purple.

As it flew in front of the windshield, literally over the cars hood, it stopped suddenly and proceeded to scare the sh*t out of us both. Its eye protruded from it’s head and it made a snarling like jester. It definitely was trying to scare us. It then flew off or disappeared.

This happened so quickly. The adrenaline in our veins pumped instantly from the fright. Immediately after the thing flew off, I looked to the left at my boyfriend and every hair on both of his arms was standing straight up. Again, we both confirmed what we both had seen and were bewildered.

20 years later, I still wonder what we had seen. I’ve researched on my own on the net. I have found that what I had witnessed has been possibly been seen and may be still out there.

This sighting makes me a believer that there is another dimension that we cannot see. It sometimes may show its face. This thing, this entity was not nice. It was demonic, it used its power over us to scare us beyond anything that I’ve ever felt before.

I drive by the location all the time. I live near it. The location is near a wooded area/a subdivision and...get this, an Abbey and Monastery. The land that we were traveling on and also the wooded area (perhaps it lived in) was once land owned by the Abbey. Is there a connection? I’d love to know!

Middletown, CT - 1969-05-01: South Farms district. Believe around 1969. I was about 10. Remember Colemans Carnival in town. Me, my brother and neighbor playing in backyard. Was dusk. We live in valley below Xavier high school. I first saw it coming from that direction. It was slow. Made no noise. No wind. It came right over my house. Just over my willow tree. Disc & colored lights flashing in sequence on diameter. Was right under it so really only saw the bottom well. We just watched it go by and out the valley. Parents did believe us. Was told was in paper but just tried to find it now cause people think I'm crazy. I was seen by others. Remember neighbors and the fireman at the Station 2 house down out the next night looking for it to return. We weren't the only ones. I believe that night 2 of them came in my room while I was in bed. Approx. 4ft. pale/grey. But not Greys like you see on TV. More human features. I sat up. They looked at me, I looked at them, they looked at each other then I just laid back down. I don't know but I wasn't afraid. But find it odd 2 aliens walk in the room and I did not react. Don't remember being taken but I still cry when I talk about it. It still affects me 48 years later.

The next morning there was a round indentation in back corner of yard. My brother remembered the sighting. Saw my neighbor some time back and he remembers it. It happened. Maybe it's just me but thought I was being tracked. Thought about being hypnotized but very afraid of what I may see. It has really deeply affected me after all these years. I wish they would stop exploring space and sending out signals. They wont like what they find. - MUFON

'I think that's what dying is...'

“I’ve experienced missing time 'glitches' my entire life. I told my friends about it and they always messed with me until it happened to me and my best friend in the car coming home from college. It was late but not too late and there’s a long stretch of road from Columbia, South Carolina to Charlotte, North Carolina. We looked at the clock at around 11 p.m. and what felt like minutes later the sun was coming up and we were still on the same highway, not 20 miles from when I looked at my car clock and the mile marker on the road. So about 7 hours of driving got us 20 miles and my friend had a panic attack and started throwing up because he couldn’t understand what happened. I think that’s what dying is and it was the first time my friend had died and changed planes of existence.”

Creepy Clown Attack in Butler County, PA

KARNS CITY, Pa. (KDKA) — A juvenile from Butler County told state police he was attacked in the woods by a person wearing a clown mask Saturday evening.

It happened around 7:45 p.m. in Karns City.

According to state police, a boy said he was near a wooded hillside beside Hooker Road and Kittaning Pike when he heard a woman scream.
