The 'Shadow Figure' Had A Face
I recently received the following account:
Hi, I have seen a lot of things over the years- like, a LOT (it runs in my family), but I saw something about two weeks ago that I can't make any sense of. Normally, if I research enough, I can find out what the entity was. Not this time. I have absolutely no idea what this was.
I was in our downstairs bathroom one afternoon, and the door was open because no one else was home. I noticed some movement outside the bathroom on the nearby wall. I figured it was probably just a shadow person, but it wasn't like any that I've ever seen. It was fairly small and compact, and it was doing these somersaults right on the wall, it almost looked like part of it was IN the wall and the side facing me was outside of it.
I remembered how one of my kids had asked me recently a lot of questions about shadow people, and I thought I'd try to take in more details on this thing, especially since there was no bad vibe coming off it. There was no fear, anger, etc., no bad smell, no indication whatsoever that it had ill intent. So, I stood up and walked around a bit to make sure it wasn't a trick of light or anything. It wasn't. It was spinning around and around right there on the wall. It didn't seem to care that I was walking around in front of it.
My daughter had asked me a few weeks before to try to find out what shadow people want, but I don't think I'll ever do that. I don't think speaking to them is a good idea, really. With this one, though, I finally straight-up asked it what it wanted.
As soon as I said that, it stopped spinning and turned so that its face was toward me. Its face was very large for its size, and it looked pale and skeletal. It also looked surprised. I seriously think it either had no idea I was there or had no I idea that I could see it before I said something. I didn't like the look of the face, and it was kind of shocking to me. I've never seen one with much of a face before. I took off into the next room, and I haven't seen that thing since.
I seriously have no idea what was happening. I can't even come up with any decent parameters to search for it. Any searches I've done have turned up nothing at all. I can't find any stories, legends, cryptids, myths, etc., that sound like this thing. I was hoping that with your site and so many humanoid sightings cataloged, you may have heard of something like this?

I recently received the following account:
I was sitting in my room of my house with my Chow mix dog. She is not scared of anything. Actually hard to keep her away from harm. She suddenly whined, got up with tail between her legs and slumped head down out of the room. I said 'what's wrong girl?' when a small face peeked around the door frame. A black eyed typical grey. 3' tall. I said "oh hell no!" Then I am unable to move and there are 5 or more around me poking kinda seemed happy to see me or that's the feeling I got.
Next...I'm in a large metallic room and an object is circling the length of the top of this round room. Opposite me stands a thin tall grey and I feel as though I am expected to return it to him via mind which I did. Ok...next I remember sneaking on another vessel and encountering red lizard like being that was guarding or running a large room with children. Mixed children it seems...big heads some some black eyed. Others more human looking. I then flash to lights and sirens kinda going off everywhere. And running with children in tow. Next I am looking into the eyes of this little child who's eyes are so large and such a true brown color. No mixing of colors like most eyes but just a solid big brown iris. Very mesmerizing. But we had soot like black burnt marks on our faces and she was crying and I cried as well. I remember thinking it was such a fight I could only save one child and I collapsed to my knees. At this point I felt as though my heart was stopping I felt as I was going to die. Just then one of the smaller guys hung a bright bright light blue glowing I can't express how bright it was considering it was no more than a grain of sand size. It sank into my chest as I awoke in my bed finishing the statement. "Oh hell no!"
I have and never will forget that. I have had other instances but nothing that leaves me with as much memories. I need to know what happened. GG

UFO Causes Sunburn
“I saw a UFO when one of my friends was dropping me off at my house from the movies (by the way, if you were wondering, I went too the movie Ready Player One... Great movie). So I thought I saw something in the sky. I looked up and saw a wired warped egg shape and it was moving really fast and it had bright lights of red yellow and green. I told my dad so we went out and saw a bright flash and it was gone. That was about last year (2018) over the cloudless night sky in Saskatchewan, Canada. After that, I got a sun burn.” G

UFO Caused Farm Equipment to Die
“I recently found out that my grandfather may have had an encounter. He was a farmer down here in Mississippi and was out with some other men working one day, when all of a sudden there was a bright blinding light from above. As soon as the light came every piece of farming equipment immediately stopped working/died. It only lasted a few minutes but it took about 5 to 10 minutes for the equipment to start back up after the light left. Now my grandpa never told me this story and passed away when I was 17 but my mom (who is a no nonsense kind of woman) told me recently and said that she remembered the day it happened. She said my grandpa and the other men were so freaked out about the experience that they all went home for the day and after that my grandpa never spoke of it again. Not the only weird creepy story I've learned about my relatives lately. But thought you would maybe enjoy this one.” AP

That Was No Weather Balloon
“I believe they exist. Back in late 2013 or the beginning of 2014 I was driving to work around 6:00 AM and I had passed where the two freeways cross and above me there was an object that was like a diamond shape and when the sun hit it, it reflected. At first I thought it was a hot air balloon because well I live in Albuquerque and we see those things in the air all the time. But then I realized it didn't have a basket attached to it also it was winter. You only see the hot air balloons between spring thru fall. I wanted to take a picture but I was driving too fast. When the news reported it. They didn't know what it was either but of course it was assumed to be a weather balloon. That was no weather balloon.” MG

'Creeped' Out by UFO
“One day at my grandmas house, I saw four lights in the sky circling above and it didn’t just disappear real quick it stayed there for about five minutes. It wasn’t thunder or lightning... the sky was clear and the night was hot so it couldn’t have been storming and I’m so confused on what it was I started recording but I deleted the video, sadly. I just wanted to forget about it, it creeped me out too much. Can anyone explain to me what that was? I saw that like a year ago (in 2018) and I still remember it up to this day.” WA

Red Eyed Anomalies Continually Observed in Rural Eastern Kentucky
I recently received the following account:
I live in a small town in eastern Kentucky. Back in the woods. This is the second time I’ve witnessed this. The first sighting, I knew it was some kind of creature that was out of the ordinary. But I couldn’t figure it out. One night my fiancee and I were talking about ghosts, and aliens, and other things we’ve seen. He began telling me about a time he was with a friend, driving down a back road. His buddy wanted to stop to get a beer from the bed of the truck, so they stopped and my boyfriend said he instantly froze because he seen this huge black thing with red eyes flying towards the truck. They sped off and didn’t look back.
Well, when he described what he'd seen, that’s when it struck me. That’s what I saw from my front porch. It was after midnight, and what got my attention was the sounds of tree branches cracking and leaves shaking, followed by a whooshing sound. Like a large bird or something. It did circles around me from the hillside, to the other side. Thru the trees all I could make out was a dark shadow and red eyes. I can’t exactly remember the date but it was around this time last year (Fall 2018). At 2 am on 10/19/19 same thing happened. Same scenario, on my front porch smoking a cigarette, I saw it again. Unfortunately I have no pictures for proof, but by God I’ll have the camera ready from now on. KM

Tall Pale Skinned Humanoid Encountered in Willow Creek, California
I recently came across the following account:
I saw a tall, pale skinned being in my grandparent's yard in Willow Creek, CA in 1994.
Full Story - I had grandparents (dad's father and step-mother) who lived in Willow Creek until their respective passing in the early 2000's. Before then my dad, sister, and I would visit at least once or twice in the summer and sometimes for a Thanksgiving or Christmas. We lived in San Jose, CA at the time, which is an 8 hour drive away. We loved going to hike in the surrounding forests and play in the Trinity River. We grew up hearing about Bigfoot (the famous Patterson video was shot in the area and the town is Bigfoot tourist heavy), but we were taught to watch out the very real pumas and bears.
I need to explain a bit about how my grandparent's house was laid out for some aspects of this story.
They had a small 2 bedroom, 1 bathroom house set at the corner of two streets. The road into the neighborhood off the main road ran along the back yard and the house ran along the other road off of that road. Several houses ran each side of the street and a house sat behind their yard. Chain link fencing six feet tall went around their back yard and most neighbors yards instead of solid wood fencing, so you can see into most yards. From the street and their house, it slopes down into the backyard and neighbor's yard by roughly 10 feet in total. Their back yard was mostly just grass and weeds with a small semi growing garden near the neighbor's fence line and a big tree (maybe oak of some kind?) next to and partially over the solarium. They had a raised deck running the length of the back of the house with stairs down into the yard at one end and a solarium off their kitchen at the other end. Inside the house, the kitchen and dining room are immediately next to each other with the living room and front door next to it. At the back of the living room is a short hall with master bedroom behind the kitchen and along the wall with the deck on one side, and the bathroom and guest room along the wall facing the side street on the other side. Grandparents of course got their master bedroom, dad would take the guest room, and my sister and I would sleep in the living room in winter or in the solarium if it was summer.
This story takes place in mid-August 1994. One last summer trip before school started in a couple weeks at the request of my sister for her 9th birthday earlier that month. I was 11 at the time. We left early to get there before dinner so dad could nap from the drive a bit while me and sis went down to the portion of the Trinity River that ran at the very back of the neighborhood. The afternoon and evening went as usual. That night, we went to sleep in the solarium as was custom for summer trips.
At some point in the night, I woke up. No real reason, not even to go to the bathroom. I just have always done that from time to time, even still. I did what I usually do and stared up at the stars and moon (around half visible, couldn't tell you if it was waxing or waning). All of a sudden, I got an intense feeling of dread that skipped fight or flight to straight "freeze or you're dead." After some time (most likely just a minute or two), I turned my head to the side to look into the yard. I had to turn to my side and lift myself a bit to get a better look, but the source of my feeling was impossible to miss. Standing at the bottom of the yard next to the neighbor's fence line stood a tall skinny creature with skin the color of the moon. It had no hair on it's head or anywhere else that I could see. It's eyes where shiny white with a reflective quality, but not bright like a bright light was shining on them right then. Just moon light. Its face had human features, but seemed squished flatter. It's arms seemed really long, but that could be just because it was really tall. The chain link fence came up to it's armpits, so it had to be around 7-8 feet tall. Not enough to just step over the fencing, but I didn't hear it climb over unless it had been in the yard before I woke up and just didn't get the dread feeling until later. It's body had dirty brown-dark gray looking rags over its chest and around its hips cover its crotch.
It was looking right at me. I got scared and ducked down into my sleeping bag as far as I could. My sister has always been a heavy sleeper and I didn't want her to wake up for this anyway. Next thing I hear heavy steps on the deck coming towards the solarium. There's a wood door with a screened window in the top of it (not opened at the time as far as I can remember). All was quiet for a while, so I peeked out through a small fold of the sleeping bag. Through one of the bottom windows of the solarium next to the door I saw it's pale large feet. The skin was rough and the toes were gnarled with dirty nails. I curled up trying not to make a sound or move much. The bag was getting stuffy.
Next thing I know my dad is gently moving me with his foot asking if I was cold because I was still huddled down into the bag. I looked around kind of disoriented. There was no evidence if that creature from the night before. No marks or footprints or bent fencing. My dad was a HUGE skeptic of anything paranormal, cryptic, and otherworldly, but I told him anyways. He of course blew it off as a dream. Sis, being a deep sleeper, didn't notice anything. I asked my grandparents if they heard or felt the thumping on the deck, which would have been along their bedroom wall. Nope. Both seemed weirded out by my story and my grandma later privately told me "There's lots of strange things up here. That's why we avoid being out at night." She wouldn't elaborate though.
It's obviously not a classic Bigfoot, but I don't know what it it. I've wanted to ask someone from the Hoopa Native Americans up there, but I haven't yet. I've never seen anything like it since. Although I have experienced plenty of paranormal things, but those are different stories. AD
NOTE: Most likely a Wendigo...or what some people refer to as a Rake or Fleshgait. As well, it could have been an apparition...but that is doubtful. These tall pale humanoid sightings are usually in area where Bigfoot and upright canine sightings have occurred, so there may also be a connection. Very interesting story. Hopefully someone in the area can get back to me on this. Lon

Humanoids & Other Two-Legged Cryptid Encounters
I have collected the following accounts:
When I was younger I saw something in an older house in midtown Sacramento, CA that I still can't explain. This house belonged to the couple who would babysit me when my mom would have to work a closing shift at the diner she worked at. Most visits to the babysitters were unremarkable. I remember that the husband had a whole room devoted to model trains and that they were nice people who treated me well. I never minded having to go over there. Usually, my mom would show up pretty late at night to come pick me up. So the female babysitter would put me to sleep on some cushions on the floor of the living room, and she'd fall asleep on the couch right above me.
This particular night, I couldn't fall asleep (this is is still fairly common for me...I don't fall asleep easily in silence and darkness) and was just kind of lying there and staring at the wall in the dark. Along this wall, there was a table or a desk of some sort, I remember. So I was staring at this general spot, not sleeping, when I see this grayish humanoid shape kind of glide or slide out from under the table and stand before me. It was too dark to really see details or colors. All I remember was that it was about two or three feet tall and appeared to either be holding a spear or sword or perhaps wearing a pointy hat. I remember being terrified and hiding my face under the covers for some time. Eventually, I heard a faint swishing sound and I looked to see the figure was gone. I shook my babysitter awake and told her that I'd seen a ghost and she told me I was dreaming and to go back to sleep. The thing is, I hadn't been sleeping.
To this day, I have no idea what I saw. In Sacramento, I have heard stories of creatures called "Duendes" or "Dwendels", but most sightings are dismissed as Opossums which makes sense. Anyone else ever see anything like this or have heard of anything like this? What did I see that night? Ghost, goblin, Duende? Opossum with a spear? SK

I used to live in Vancouver, Washington on a cul-de-sac named Orchard Dell Ct. It was a T-shaped cul-de-sac with another road going off of the side of the T. So I was heading to school at about 8 am that morning. I only had to walk about a block from my house to where the cul-de-sac meets the main road St.James Rd. This was your typical every day route that I took. However that morning was different. When I got close to St. James I looked up from me feet and across the road was what I can only describe as a creature. It was made up entirely of black spheres. In the shape of a man it definitely had 2 legs 2 arms a torso and a head. But again all made up of black spheres about a foot wide a little bigger than a basketball. All of the spheres had a texture to them I had never seen before. That is creepy enough but it was dancing around a pole across the street.
The thing is and that's really hard to convey is that this thing projected nothing but PURE malevolence. I felt that this thing was bad. Really really bad. I would not say it was evil, it was just bad. It's like the difference between saying a man can be evil but a man can also be good. This thing could not have the possibility of being good. There was no way. It was bad through and through. Anyways when I looked at it, it stopped dancing, looked at me and just popped out of existence. It did not fade. It did not make any sound. It was just there one moment, the next moment it was gone. I was very freaked out but it's not like I was hurt or felt bad. I was just freaked out. Anyways I went to school like normal, if not a little shaken.
Well that night there was some kids racing cars drunk and there were four or five people killed. The driver and all the passengers all died instantly. When I went out with my father to the corner where it happened I was shocked because it was the exact same intersection where I saw that thing the previous morning. I cannot help but think I saw something strange that morning. Something I was not supposed to see. Whatever that creature was it was bad news. RS

Here's a little background before I share my story. I was about 8-9 (I'm 25 now). My dad, Uncle Brad, and their friend Henry and I all went out on a hunting trip. Where we where that day we call "The Bluff". The lay of the area is as follows. There is a ridge that runs along a river. Along the river are trees and the area is relatively flat for a few feet before the land shoots up at a steep angle, creating the ridge. The trees there are thick and it is difficult walking for a person. At the top of the ridge is a dirt trail that we walk/ride ARCs on while hunting.
On this day we had dropped Henry off at the river and my uncle, father and I were going to go up to the top of the ridge. The plan was for Henry to walk along the river and run a deer over to one of us on the top of the ridge. When he reached where he was even with us he would turn and go back to the drop off and we would meet him to pick him up. My uncle left my dad and I in one spot on the road and he went up a bit farther and took his place.
Things were normal and we could hear Henry coming up the river at the bottom for a while before he came into view. My dad signaled that Uncle Brad was still a ways down the road and we waited. Out of no where there was a scream that was unlike any I had heard (even to this day). There was the sound of something huge tearing through the brush up the ridge side and my dad grabbed my arm and pulled me to him (we both assumed it was a bear). Whatever it was walked on 2 legs and was about 8-9 ft tall, covered in dark hair. It saw us and turned toward the direction of my uncle. Which is when I started crying, being both equally scared for our lives, confused at what I had seen, and scared for my uncle. There was a gun shot, another scream and then my uncle sprinting up the road to us.
To this day my uncle and Henry refuse to go to that ridge or the river. I still am unsure of what we saw. We don't talk about it because we don't want to be ridiculed. But the thing I can say for sure, I've been in the woods my entire life and haven't seen anything close to that since.
And just a side note. There were some "Bigfoot hunters" who showed up a few months back who camped in those same woods for about two weeks. Not sure what spurred that but I will always wonder if that's really what I saw. UG

When I was 13 my friends mom was driving me home in their SUV. My friend sat behind the passenger seat and I sat in the middle (uncomfortable) seat.
Her mom took a back road that was fairly dark but quiet and residential. Suddenly something came running out across the road left to right the headlights illuminated the thing. Her mom swerved and because I was in the middle seat I had a clear view of the road. It happened very suddenly but her mom was so rattled she pulled over at the next subdivision. Turning back to me she said "did you see that?" Both our mouths were hanging open. My friend didn't see it because her view was blocked by the seat.
What we both saw was roughly 3 feet tall, walked on two legs, had human Caucasian colored feet that were mostly covered in thick brown hair. It moved quickly but in a stubby gate. It was almost like a gorilla and a hobbit mixed together. I didn't get a clear view of its face, but from its reaction being caught in the headlights of a car startled it. It ran out of the woods on one side of the road into the woods on the other side.
Weeks later her mom took me aside and we discussed what we saw because she was so taken a back by what happened. I have no explanation for what this thing was. RC

Who Are The 'Blonde Ones?'
I was 17 and working as a hostess at Red Lobster. I'm not gonna give exact location. Anyway, we were pretty dead. A couple hours before closing time. It was a snowy weeknight. I'm the only one up at the host stand. In walks three individuals. An older woman, I'd say maybe late 30s. Older man, maybe same age as the woman. And a young man. All very tall. All with the same hair color, really light blonde. Exact same facial features. All wearing pretty much the same thing. Unremarkable but clean black clothes.
It sounds crazy trying to explain how weird this was. But they looked like clones with different genders and slightly different ages. They had not a blemish. Not a wrinkle or hair out of place. And they all had the exact same facial expression. Kinda smiling politely but I swear it felt like they were looking into my soul.
For some reason I totally froze in shock. I guess maybe I could sense something was weird. Anyway. After standing there in shock for, I don't know, how long I stuttered 'hello.' They didn't respond. Just kept the same facial expression. Grabbed menus and gestured for them follow me. They did. I seated them and told them their server would be with them shortly. They kept the same expression and as I turned to walk away all turned their heads in the same way at the same time to watch me.
I know it probably sounds like nothing but I swear it was so freaking weird.
I came home and told my mom about it and she told me about a time when she was working her first job at 16 at McDonalds. Closing shift. Only one there. Tall pale dude with white blonde hair just like the people I saw, except his was long. She said he came up to the counter and smiled at her. Just smiled. Said not a word but clicked his extremely long finger nails on the counter. She kept asking him what she could get for him until she finally got creeped out enough to go in the back.
Has anyone had an experience like this or have any idea what the hell this was? Because I know in my bones they were not normal humans. MM

White Light-Reflecting Quadruped
I've never told anyone this outside of my small friend circle. I’m genuinely curious as to what others might think it is. This happened a few years ago. I’m from Ontario, Canada and the amount of trails out here is astounding. The set of trails I walk on a regular basis cut through the city I live in and run along the river. There’s plenty of wildlife and on a few occasions I’ve sat and watched deer along the riverside. Whatever this was it was unlike anything I’d seen before, even if it was only for a brief moment.
It was the summertime. So my friend Kendra and I were out on the trails while the sun was setting. It was getting dark and because of how dense the trees and bush are along the trails, it was getting harder and harder to see even if the sun hadn't set completely. I had my phone flashlight out so we could at least see the trail. I also had some music playing. I had stopped for a second to change the song and Kendra suddenly goes "What's that?" After a series of noises broke out beside us. Slowly, I turn my flashlight to the bush off on the left side of the path. The light shines on this large, white figure. It was so white it was pretty much reflecting the light I was shining on to it. It was walking on 4 legs and was way too large to be a deer. Too white, too. From what I remember it had skin. No fur. It wasn't a dog. If I could describe the texture in the short amount of time I had between me looking at this thing and booking it, it was almost rubbery looking. This was all I could take in before it ran off in the opposite direction of where we were looking. I didn't stick around for very long either. The two of us took off running.
We joked about it a lot, saying we saw the rake and that my last words would have been 'same'. I surprisingly didn't feel any fear right away. The fear didn't set in until after we ran away from whatever it was. Maybe that came from the sudden shock of seeing this white figure running away through the trees and brush. Needless to say I don't walk those trails at dusk anymore. R

'Were we chased by a Hellhound?'
I believe my husband and I saw a Hellhound.
We live in rural northern Idaho. And we both hunt. So we know everything about animals, even in pitch darkness.
We don't have normal plumbing. We have to turn on an electric well every morning to fill it up. Our tank can last us three to four days, but we like it filled, just in case. There are other tanks like that scatter in the woods. Just waiting for someone to buy the land and build a home.
We were taking a walk and it got dark so we went back home. However on our way home we saw something, not human or animal, near one the well. It was hunched over like it was eating. We walk carefully closer, about 20 feet from this thing. Trying to figure out what it is. To large for a stray dog or wolf and to small for a bear. But what ever it was, it looked at us with red eyes. I've never been more scared in my life. My husband is scared of nothing and he was scared to. We took off running. My God we never ran so fast in our lives.
It did chase for a while, then it just disappeared. We got to our house and it was just gone. We knew it was behind us when we left the woods, but we couldn't see it. We locked all the windows and door that night.
We talk to one of the town locals about the thing we saw. He showed us a picture of a Hellhound. He told us stories about people meeting the Hellhound in the same area. Always near a well, roads, crossroads, or places of death. Seeing him once will bring us happiness, seeing him twice will bring us sorrow, and seeing him three times will bring us death.
I don't know what we saw, but Hellhound is the only explanation. DL

Tribe Shaman Clears Location
When I was in college, I lived in a dorm for Native students. It was the first multicultural house in the Greek Village, and we were so proud. About 9 of us lived there. The college was built on our tribe's old wintering grounds, and the school had disposed of things in a pretty shady way back in the 70s and 80s.
Anyway, over the first few months we lived there, several of us noticed strange things. We weren't comfortable by ourselves. We'd see black people shapes out of the corners of our eyes. Somebody even swore they had a conversation with me, when I wasn't in the house. They said the "me" was a bit off and vacant and strange, but they couldn't figure out why. This happened with a few of us. Things were being broken and misplaced. We would hear strange wind noises sometimes.
We finally went to someone in our tribe who dealt with things like this. He came and cleared the house with tobacco and water. We prayed, and cleansed ourselves. Two of us stayed in the house while he worked. I distinctly remember him walking through the darkened living room, opening the door, and hearing what sounded like a tornado whiz through the room very quickly. Then it was over. Turns out it wasn't malevolent or anything. Just something that had attached itself to the land. We never had any problems after the cleansing. RD

Slenderman / Gumby Demon?
Obviously Slenderman is a creepy pasta but this isn't slender man. There's a farm behind my house, separated by a canal. The farm stretches maybe about 1000 feet back before it hits a tree line. A couple weeks ago, I was eating dinner and was staring out at the farm. It was maybe 20 minutes until nightfall. I saw what looked like a really tall, gray version of Gumby walk out of the tree line, take two really large lunges, then disappear back into the tree line. It was much too tall to be a person. The next night, at the same time, the same exact thing happened except my parents were with me. I asked them if they saw that and they just said "saw what?". Then it happened AGAIN the third night. So either my body its giving me random hallucinations in sync with my bodies time clock or there's some weird Slender-Gumby demon living on the farm behind my house. I haven't been home much recently so I haven't been able to look for it again but if I'm able to, I'm gonna try and take a picture. I don't know how well that will work given the distance that I see it, but I can try. Anonymous
Thursday, 31 October 2019 - Halloween ET Conference
8:00 p.m. – 9:30 p.m. There will be presentations at the center on the “ET Presence on Earth” by Dr. Keller, Jennifer Schwartz-Flack, Synergy Springs Associate Keith A. At 9:30, the conference will depart the center and move to Field Location #1 on Jennifer’s farm for the UFO Skywatch and Extraterrestrial Halloween Costume Party. Her farm has been recognized as a portal for flying saucer activity and is located at 7 2nd Avenue in nearby Scottdale, Pennsylvania. There are also nearby Native American burial grounds in addition to naturally-occurring underground springs. The festivities at Jennifer’s property will begin with a costume judging to be conducted by Jennifer, Keith and Cosmic Ray to determine who will become the reigning King and Queen of Outer Space. There will be prizes for the winners. Afterwards, a group attempt will follow to reach out telepathically to the space people buzzing overhead. Music from outer space will also be playing in the background.

Tall Red-Eyed Cryptid Encountered in Richmond, Illinois
I recently received the following email:
Friday October 5, 2019 around 10 pm my 17yo son and I were coming home through Richmond, Illinois. He wanted McDonald’s. We took the back roads home (we live in Wisconsin on border) and on Rt 173 and Broadway (I believe it’s Broadway) we both saw something very tall (6-7 feet) hunched over looking with the brightest red eyes we’ve ever seen! It looked as if it were floating or hopping. We couldn’t make out much as it was very dark, but it was not like any animal we’ve seen before! When I got home I started Googling animals and found some Mothman myth. I'm not sure what we saw but it was out of the ordinary. We take this road often but only a few times at night and had never seen this before. It was maybe 10-20 feet from our car and my son was freaking out telling me to go, so we didn’t stop. Our family thinks we’re crazy and teases us we saw a zombie, so I’d prefer this to stay anonymous. I came across your info and thought I’d share. We didn’t notice any wings but it was dark out. We both thought it was hopping like a kangaroo and now I’m curious if there are any other odd sightings in this area. MO
I was later able to talk by telephone to 'MO.' She had left work late on Friday October 5, 2019 and had picked up her 17 year-old son on the way home. The time was approximately 10 pm. They on Rt. 173 (Kenosha St.) and Broadway Rd. on their way to a McDonalds. They were also adjacent to the North Branch Conservation Area.
They both noticed a pair of very bright red eyes along the side of the road. The creature was about 7 ft. in height and dark in color. It was stooped or hunched over, as if something heavy was attached to its back. The witnesses never saw wings, but it seemed some structure was on its back. As they approached it, the creature looked at them and started to 'hop' back. They had gotten very close to it, about 20 ft. or less. As it hopped back towards the field, they looked back and it seemed that it suddenly disappeared. It never took flight. OM stated that the eyes were similar to 2 very bright lights the emanated from within the creature.
OM wanted to turn around and look again, but her son was totally freaked out by the encounter and insisted she continue driving.
The witness had no indication of the winged humanoid sightings in and around Chicago. She immediately began to research her sighting and found my information.

Archive: 'Dogman' on Broadway
While recording an interview last night, the host asked me about the following account I had posted in January 2016. I decided to post it again for those who had missed it:
I recently received the following bizarre account from Gerald in New Jersey:
Sir - I would like to pass along a true story told to me by my grandfather when I was a young man. The story involves my great-grandfather, whose name was James McNamara. He was a patrolman in the New York City Police Department. This incident occurred in October of 1911 during the late evening hours.
James was assigned to the theater district, in the area of Broadway and 42nd Street. Another patrolman, by the name of Dobbins, was two blocks south on Broadway near 40th Street.
Theater goers were walking about and enjoying the 'Great White Way' when suddenly there were screams emanating from an alley-way just below James' position. Both patrolmen ran toward the ruckus, forcing their way through hundreds of fleeing pedestrians.
As they reached the alley-way, a tall hairy beast ran out onto Broadway and towards 40th Street. Neither patrolman could believe what they saw. An eight-foot tall wolf with human-like arms and legs, running with skill and speed down the middle of Broadway. Soon the beast was facing a NYC Packard squad car, so it changed direction and moving back towards McNamara and Dobbins. The beast was growling as it moved forward. The patrolmen took positions by a news stand, hiding and waiting for the horrible creature to move before them.
Soon the beast was at the entrance of another alley-way near 42nd Street. Both patrolmen pulled their revolvers and took deadly aim. The beast quickly dropped to the gutter. Immediately McNamara and Dobbins surrounded the body as other officers joined them. None of the public was allowed to come within 100 feet of the unknown canine. The body was quickly removed and taken to the mortuary.
Both patrolmen were placed on other assignments. The squad was told by their superiors that this was simply mistaken identity an that the deceased was a man in a costume. Of course, that was not the truth.
The press was later told that a 'large mad dog' caused the disruption and that none of the public were injured.
A few months later, a brief article was published in a Louisiana newspaper (The St. Mary Banner, Franklin, LA) and picked-up by a few other media outlets:
NEW YORK — No sign remained in the Broadway theater district the next morning following the scenes that were enacted there one night when a maddened beast charged up and down, spreading terror and consternation, causing handsomely gowned women to faint and strong men to leave their cocktails untouched and flee for safety. That lion with the burning tail that broke loose during the Coney Island fire last spring was a tame affair in comparison with the Broadway monster.
The beast is described in the police blotter as a large terrier, but it is evident that the police were anxious to minimise the seriousness of the panic. Hundreds of the witnesses will testify that the animal was at least eight feet tall its foaming mouth and wicked fangs were too terrible for description.
The beast was seen first at Broadway and Forty-second street. With a blood-curdling "Bow. wow!" it rushed up to a beautiful woman as her companion rushed to her assistance and fearlessly planted a kick in the monster’s hind-quarters. 'Ki yi' screamed the wild thing, as it tore off down Broadway. At Fortieth street, two boys, with the foolhardiness of youth, tried to seize the animal by its tail. The beast turned upon them and bayed horribly.
On to Thirty-ninth street, scattering pedestrians right and left, raced the great dog. If dog indeed it was. At the corner it emitted a whine that was even more terrifying than its growl and turned back the way it had come. As the beast ran back, Patrolmen McNamara and Dobbins drew their revolvers. Dobbins shot straight and true, and the monster keeled over in the gutter.
The police have offered no further statements.
NOTE: after I received the email, I contacted Gerald and discussed the information I received. I'm convinced that he is telling me what he was told, and that he believes it to be true. I did a bit of research and found an article from The Holbrook News., Holbrook, AZ, March 1, 1912...though the article seemed to be an edited version of the original text. So did Gotham experience a Dogman / upright canine incident? Your thoughts. Lon

Huge Bat-Winged Creature Encountered on Vancouver Island, BC
I recently received the following email:
In the summer of 2008, my brother and I were returning home from Kennedy Lake (Vancouver Island, BC) on a logging road. I noticed something massive flying overhead. Surprised, I pointed it out to my brother too (passenger seat). We both watched this thing fly ahead of us for a minute or two. It flew like a bat, but was MASSIVE. My brother and I are certain of what we saw and it still sticks with us to this day. Any similar sightings? Let me know if you have more questions. Thanks RP
I called RP and received more information. RP and his brother were driving home along a wide logging road near Kennedy Lake on Vancouver Island, BC. Suddenly, at approximately 5 pm local time, a huge bat-winged being flew over the car and maintained flight about 30 ft in front of them. RP sped up in order to stay near the winged anomaly. They were able to watch it for 30 seconds to 1 minute and got an excellent view.
RP's described the entity as resembling a monstrous bat-like creature. The wings were like that of a bat or mythical gargoyle and it flew in the same manner as a bat, but at a much slower flapping rate. The wing span was almost as wide as the road, at least 10 ft. It was all black in color. The body was long and thin. They never got a very good look at the head. The legs were very long and tapered, extending behind the flying being.
They were both shocked at what they were observing. RP, his brother and family were very familiar with the outdoors, particularly the fauna of Vancouver Island. RP stated that he searched online for an idea of what they saw, and stumbled upon my contact information. He felt comfortable enough to share his information with me. Lon
