Probable BIGFOOT Chasing/Hunting Deer on Beacon Mountain, NY

A broadcast engineer and his boss are on Beacon Mountain fixing a transmitter. On the steep drive back they encounter deer quickly crossing the road, and hear heavy bipedal footsteps chasing them.

I received the following account:

"I work as a broadcast engineer. One night in September 2015 I received a phone call around 9:30-10:00ish pm from the on-duty engineer that our OTA (over the air) signal had gone out and we were off the air on our OTA platform. The call was with several other engineers as well as my boss at the time. We figured out that the problem was at our transmitter and must be corrected manually. My boss asked for someone to volunteer to go with him and after a few seconds of awkward silence, I offered.

So our RF transmitter site was located on top of Beacon Mountain in Beacon, New York which was about an hour plus from our station. At the time, I had never been up there so going in the middle of the night was a little spooky. I met my boss and we drove together, got to the mountain a little before midnight. The road up the mountain to the transmitter site is a long, narrow, windy, and steep dirt road with a lot of big loose rocks so the drive up and down is scary enough. I can't emphasize enough how dark this drive was. Like pitch black.

A few times while going up we would see headlights coming towards us of people out with their off-road jeeps which wouldn't be as weird if it weren't the middle of the night. We also saw two different campfires deep in the woods which I just assumed were groups of locals hanging out drinking. My boss told me that locals hung out near the transmitter site sometimes and should be avoided as they had a tendency to be sketchy. It didn't seem too sketchy to me but what did I know, it was my first time there. My boss also told me that he never travels to that mountain without a gun. He said it's more than the locals, "I've seen stuff out here I can't really explain."

We get to the top, do our work on our transmitter, close everything up, and start to head back down. As we were heading down, we were at a particularly steep part of the road when you have to ride your brake because the car won't stop till the incline levels out a little. All of a sudden, 3 deer sprint out in front of us not even looking at our oncoming car causing us to swerve since we were already riding the break. The front of the car hit a rock which stopped our momentum.

My boss instantly turned the car off and once the sound of the engine died we heard something BIG run the opposite direction away from the road up the natural slope of the hill. I shined my flashlight in the direction but whatever it was, was already out of sight. We could still see branches moving and leafs settling from being disturbed by whatever ran away. I asked my boss if he thought that was another deer or possibly a bear and he replied, "Bears run on all fours, whatever that was ran on 2 legs. And bears don't hunt deer, something was chasing them." When we first heard the footsteps, I would estimate they were as close as 10-15 feet from the car when it started to run away but appeared to be standing over us as there was a natural incline up the mountain.

There are a few logical explanations like that my boss was just trying to scare me or that it was a local walking/running through the woods but here are a few things to consider:

Yes, it could've been a person walking alone through the woods but why chase the deer? And why run away from the car? Also, whatever ran away was out of sight QUICKLY. Like within 3-4 seconds of starting to run up the hill. This person would have to be in the greatest shape ever to run that quickly up this hill. This also sounded way too big to be a bobcat, mountain lion, or coyote. My boss is not the kind of guy that would try to scare people, he's a very stern all-business type of guy. He seemed pretty rattled by this and wanted to get off the mountain ASAP. He later confided in me that he thought it may have been a Bigfoot.

I ended up going back up that mountain many more times before leaving for a new job and I never saw or heard anything like that night. However, I never went back after sunset. I no longer work for this company and this company no longer owns the transmitter site so I will likely never have a reason to go back. I don't know of any reported sightings or experiences in the area but I do know that over the years there have been many car accidents on that road. I assume all the accidents are due to the poor condition of it but honestly, I have no idea." SS

NOTE: I emailed the witness and kind of picked his brain about his encounter. I believe that a Bigfoot may have been hunting deer. The witness concurred with my thoughts. The mountain is in Putnam County, New York, an area well-known for Bigfoot activity, especially in the area around Newburgh, which is across the Hudson River. Lon

Horrifying 'NOT DEER' Encounter in Monroe County, Pennsylvania

Recently, a man and his dog are in his car late at night in rural Monroe County, PA. As they approach a stop sign a deer walks out onto the road. As the deer gets nearer the witness is horrified by what he sees!

I receive the following account:

"I drove to a local convenience store here near Stroudsburg, Pennsylvania in Monroe County to pick up something to eat. My dog was with me and it was just before midnight. Everything was normal on the way there, but on the way back something weird happened.

As I approach a stop sign outside of town, my dog started growling. My dog rarely growls, so when he does I take notice. I looked around and saw a deer walking toward the road from behind a large oak tree. The deer then stepped out onto the road. It's about 50 feet from me, but then the deer starts to walks toward the headlights of my car.

As it gets closer, I begin to see its face much clearer. At first I literally shook my head a bit in disbelief. Then I did a double-take. The deer had a freaking human face! There was no elongated nose, no big dark eyes, it was a freaking person's face! The eyes had whites surrounding dark blue-colored pupils and was forward setting, looking directly at me! I just froze. I don't even remember if my dog was growling at this point. I was truly scared by what I was witnessing!

It kept looking at me for almost a minute. Then to turned and slowing walked to the other side of the road and then walked off into the woods. I stepped on the gas and got the heck out of there.

When I got home, I immediately went inside my house and pour a stiff drink. I needed to know what I saw and went online. I stayed up most of the night looking for an explanation for what I had witnessed! I read a few other accounts of what people referred to as 'Not Deer,' but nothing as dramatic as what I saw. I'm beginning to believe that I witnessed the results of a an experiment that went wrong!

I found your contact email during my research online. Can you give me an answer as to what I saw? The day was Monday, June 26, 2023." D

NOTE: I talked to this witness by telephone. I'm afraid that I wasn't much help with an explanation. This 'Not Deer' phenomenon is truly an enigma. Lon

Little Pipe Creek BIGFOOT Chases Teens & Creates Havoc!

Three young friends hung out at a regular spot along the Little Pipe Creek in Indiana during the summer. That is until they had an encounter with a supposed Bigfoot that chased them away.

I received the following account:

“This happened when I was 15 years old back in 1979. It doesn't matter how long ago an incident like this occurs because once it does, the trauma burns into your brain. I was at Little Pipe Creek in the small town of Flora, Indiana where I grew up. It was just a mile or so from where the creek empties into the Wabash River. My friends and I hung out there every day during the summer.

It was late afternoon and we had just arrived at our spot. As we approached the creek I looked up at a tree about 100 feet away and there is a figure in it. It had long brown hair and it was swinging from limb to limb, but it was straight up and down, about 6 feet tall. I'm there with my 2 other friends. When I noticed the figure I say, "What is that?" It's not a monkey but it's swinging like a monkey, but it's not a human either. Back then we didn't know what Bigfoot was and this sighting lasted a good 5 minutes.

We're sitting there watching it. I had no fear in me at all. Then, all of a sudden, I just had the most fear I've ever felt in my life and I told my friends, "We gotta go! We have to go right now!" I think the Bigfoot or whatever, somehow put that sense of fear in me. The sensation was so sudden and strong.

So we take off up the nearby hill and head home. I'm going faster than my friends. I'm up in the weeds and I'm scared and then my friend said, "Go! Go! Go! A man is chasing us! A man is chasing us!" I thought he was joking. I looked around at his face and I've never seen such a look of fear on his face before.

We lived about half a mile away and when we got home, I go, "A guy was chasing us?" He goes, "Well, it looked like a man but it was big and hairy."

We were scared to return to the spot, but a few weeks later we gathered our courage and walked back to the creek. When we got there, it looked like a bomb had gone off! Several of the small and medium-sized trees were uprooted and tossed into the creek. But the first thing we noticed as we approached was the unmistakable odor of decay and death.

We looked at the destruction as we stood several yards away from the creek. That is when we noticed the source of the stench. There were at least 3 deer carcasses and several small dead animals strewn throughout the site.

We were getting ready to leave after only a few minutes. Then I started to again feel a strong and sudden urge to run from the area. That's when we heard a horrific scream coming from the surrounding woods. We instinctively ran toward home. That was the last time that I ever went back to the location. 

Several years later, after I had moved away, I ran into one of my friends who had experienced the incident with me. He stayed in Flora, got married, and built a house. He told me that the 'big hairy man' had been seen and reported along Little Pipe Creek by other witnesses.

Was it a Bigfoot? I believe so.” S

Intriguing 'TIME SLIP' Experienced in the Arizona Desert

An Arizona man is test-driving his car in the desert late at night. Since it's late he decides to spend the night in an old abandoned adobe. But he later finds out that the adobe really did not exist.

"Back in 1988, I lived many miles out in the Arizona desert. At that time I worked 2 jobs and a lot of hours. Each month I worked my schedules out so that I had 4 days in a row off. During this time I would mess around with my hot rod and race to make a little extra money. I was always doing stuff to my car to improve speed, performance whatever edge I could get. Well, on one of my days off I installed a new carb and dialed it in. I always took my car out to the desert to test it.

On this particular day, I had worked until evening, but I took it out for a test anyway. So I was having fun testing her out and it got dark on me. Instead of trying to get back home, I decided to just stay and sleep in my car. I was just driving around finding a place to park and sleep.

I came across this old adobe and decided I'd check it out and sleep. It was kind of small and an old ruin. I found an old fireplace inside and it looked more comfortable than sleeping in my car. I grabbed a flashlight, turned on my headlights, and gathered a little brush and some small bit of wood. I grabbed a blanket from my car and an old cushion I had for a pillow. So I built a little fire and settled in.

In the morning I awoke early, gathered my stuff, and headed back to an old 1950s trailer where I lived. A friend stopped by to visit later in the day. He had lived in that area all his life and was very familiar with the desert there. So, he asks, where was I last night since he had stopped by with some whiskey but you weren't home. So I told him the story of where I was. 

When I got to the part about the adobe, he listened. Then he asked about the adobe. I told him where it was and he said that there is no adobe out there. I said yeah, I slept there. He still said no adobe. So I said jump in the car I'll show you.

So we drove around and I found the spot, but there was no adobe. My tire tracks were there. I could still see where I built the fire. Everything is there but no adobe. He's quiet as I'm confused, looking around. I said to him that it was here last night. He says that he's been here all his life, and knows this desert. There has been no adobe here. He says that I went somewhere maybe into the past, but there isn't no adobe here. He's never seen one here ever in his life.

So I don't know what happened that night. I wasn't drunk or high and I know it was there. So, I looked for it for years but never found it again. Does anyone out there know what happened that night?" MF

NOTE: This seems to be a case of a time slip or that the witness entered a type of interdimensional portal. Very interesting account. Lon

CENTAUR Encountered on Highway Near Flagstaff, Arizona

A group of workers were driving near Flagstaff, Arizona when they encounter a Centaur that suddenly ran out onto the highway. One of the men had a heart attack as a result of the incident.

"One of my cousin's brothers told me this story. He works in construction and he told me a story about 3 of his friends that he works with. The 3 guys are Mexican. Of the 3 of them, one is an older guy.

This story takes place east of Flagstaff, Arizona, heading towards Leupp. I would say about 20 miles from Flagstaff. There are a lot of cinder cones (hills) in that area. There's a stretch of highway that goes down a long hill. The 3 guys were driving from Flagstaff one night. I don't remember where he said they were going, but it was late and the older man was driving. They started down the long hill. When they were halfway down they witnessed something very crazy and weird. They saw a centaur (half man/half horse) jump into the center of the road. They said it was very big, at least 7 to 8 feet tall. It had long hair and it was carrying a wooden club in one hand. They said it had a very mean-looking evil face.

The sight of it freaked them out and the guy that was driving swerved off the road and they rolled the truck. They crawled out of the vehicle and the older guy that was driving was having a heart attack. They called 911 and soon they were taken to Flagstaff Medical Center. They didn't tell anyone about what they witnessed because they feared nobody would believe them. The older man recovered, and they all kept asking each other if they really saw the centaur. They all agreed that they all saw it.

They told my cousin about and he said he went to a Navajo medicine man. He asked the medicine man about it. The man told him that it is true. He said that there are 7 centaurs that people have seen over the years. The one that they saw, with the long hair, is the evil one...the mean one.

I've heard stories that friends told me when we were kids growing up. I wasn't sure if they were real but after hearing this I think they are real. My cousin said the 3 men are still traumatized by the experience and they said they will never travel again during the night. Anyway, I wanted to share this story with the group." ER

Siblings Witness Neighbor Girls ABDUCTED by UFO Occupants

A Louisiana brother and sister witness a saucer-shaped craft land near their home. They observe several unknown humanoids enter the neighbors' home and abduct the girls who live there!

I received the following account:

"I have kept this inside of me for over 55 years, and I think it's time that I disclose the event, which took place in 1965.

My brother (who I will refer to as Sam) and I witnessed aliens abducting two young girls, who lived in the trailer next door. We never told a soul about this encounter, and now that he has passed, I am the only person left to recount the events of that fateful night, which changed our lives forever.

We were living near Bossier City, Louisiana, as our father was deep underground in the Air Force missile silos, and he worked for days at a time, in these bunkers. He had just come home on a three-day leave, and we were so happy to be able to spend time with him.
Sam and I played rough with our dad all day and we were bushed, come bedtime. I slept in the upper bunk, and my brother in the lower.

Suddenly, around 3:00 or 4:00 am we were both awakened by a low thundering sound and the most brilliantly colored light display, just outside our window, at the foot of our bunk bed. I moved to the window and looked down to see Sam looking out as well. We both watched a flying saucer land in the field, close to our neighbor's trailer. Our family was very close to these neighbors, and the two young girls living there were friends to my brother and me. I can't recall their names. But they were approximately seven and ten years old.

We debated about waking our parents. But we were so frightened and thought if we woke them, they start turning on outside lights or walk outside with weapons. There would be bloodshed and sheer panic in the trailer park. So, we sat very quietly and simply observed.

This flying saucer was about 50 feet in diameter and had multi-colored lights around the perimeter. Everything beneath the craft was distorted and wavy, as it was gently settling down in the dirt field. There were four metal legs that slid down from the craft, with round pads on each. All of the lights on the craft went out, within about 30 seconds, after it landed. But, a light blue glow started to envelop the craft, and it made the area around it glow as well. Then, a ramp slid down from the craft, and a door opened up, and we could partially see inside the ship. There were dull red and orange lights on the walls, and an electrical crackling sound, emanating from the interior. Then the interior lights went out, and the weird sound stopped. Suddenly, a figure started to walk down the ramp and was followed by another.

Now, Sam and I were never allowed to watch any science fiction shows or movies, with aliens or spaceships. I had never even seen a drawing or picture of a saucer before this. We were allowed to watch cartoons like Scooby Doo, and Bugs Bunny. Along with shows like The Wonderful World of Disney and Mutual of Omaha's Wild Kingdom. So, this was truly an adventurous night for us, and definitely something very new.

The first two beings walking down the ramp made their way into the light of our neighbor's yard. There was a light on the back of their trailer and their porch. When they got closer to the brighter light on their porch, we could see they were dressed in the same color suits. But the weird thing was, that their skin appeared to be the same color as well. They looked human in shape and size but moved in a way that made them function more like robots. Every movement was very smooth and effortless, as though they were moving about in the water. They now remind me of the "Blue Man Group", from Vegas. Because they were completely blue all over.

Then, another two beings exited the craft, and they were green. Another two, that were red. Until there were six of them in all. They walked in line, up to the door of the trailer. They all passed right through the door, without opening it! That scared the heck out of us. More so than the landing of the craft. We were asking each other, "Did you see that? What are they going to do with our friends?"

Minutes later, they passed through the door again, and they were leading the two girls, all the way back to their ship. The girls appeared as though they were sleepwalking, and even had their eyes closed. They walked just fine, without any help from these strange beings. Now, if you are wondering, yes, the girls passed right through the door, without it being opened too.

About five minutes later, they exited the ship and lead the girls back into the trailer. But when the beings passed through the door for the last time, as they were coming out, they all crouched down slightly, turned, and looked directly at our window. Each one did this in succession, and they smiled....and waved at us! Now at this point, my brother and I were in complete shock. We were also completely mesmerized! I looked at Sam and he looked at me. But we were unable to say a word.

They entered the ship, and as the last one went inside, the interior lights returned. The strange noise started up again, and the door closed. The ramp slid back up inside the craft, and as it slowly lifted off the ground, the four legs retracted up as well. The amazingly colorful lights came back on, around the perimeter of the ship, and it slowly lifted skyward. Until it was about 25 feet in the air. Then, it shot straight up and out of sight in less than a second.

The last being standing at the door of the ship, waved at Sam and me, before it closed. I thought I should point that out as well. Because that is the lasting image that burned into my memory ever since that strange night. My brother and I talked about that night, possibly thousands of times before he passed away in 2009. But, we never discussed it with anyone else....ever!

We tried so hard to see if there was anything different about our neighbor's daughters after that night. But, we didn't notice anything unusual.

That event troubles me to this day. More so than any other event. I have often wondered, if Sam and I were the actual abductees, and the memory of the girl's abduction was planted. But, in any case, two or possibly even four people were contacted/abducted that night. Of that I am sure!

I now need to find answers to this event somehow. Even if it means going to a qualified hypnotist, experienced in the abduction phenomena. I have to know exactly what happened in 1965!

I wonder if those two young girls are now going through abduction therapy, as adults. So many unanswered questions, and I think about that night every single day of my life. I need to get this monkey off of my back, somehow...and this helps to finally tell the world about that strange night." E

NOTE: I talked to this experiencer and referred her to a regression therapist in her area. I rarely do this, but in this circumstance, I believe that it may be helpful after all those years. Lon

HUMANOID SIGHTING Prompts 'MEN IN BLACK' Encounter!

A Texas couple observes strange human-like figures exiting a single cloud in the sky. An hour later they are approached by 2 men dressed in all-black clothing asking if they had reported the incident.

I received the following account:

"We live outside of Houston, Texas. My wife and I were at home and in our backyard. It was a beautiful cloudy day on 10/21/2021. I first noticed one cloud stop while the rest moved on. I asked my wife to watch it as well. We noticed a swirl in the cloud until it opened. I'm not sure if it was a portal but it grabbed my attention. 3 figures flew out of the opening and then transform into human form. They were light-skinned with long hair with fitted outfits that resembled the villainous characters from Superman II.

They hovered in front of the portal area as if to be checking something. We noticed the windows of the craft which caused us to also notice the doorway of the ship open. We then observed the other beings in the background of the doorway as if they were riding on a train or subway. We saw 2 of the human-like figures go back inside and walk down a stairway into the inside and fade away as they went down the stairs. The remaining figure began to look at us. We felt the intuition of knowing that they were intentionally showing themselves to us for whatever reason. The last figure flew inside the portal and entered the craft's doorway. He touched the open part of the portal and swiped it with his hand and the portal begin to close as if automated.

The cloud begins to swirl. It then faded away and simply vanished. We remained in the yard and were discussing what we had witnessed.

About an hour later, as we were sitting on our patio, a black SUV pulled into our driveway. 2 men dressed in all-black clothing and sunglasses got out of the SUV and walked toward us. The lead man didn't greet us but immediately asked if we had 'reported what we had witnessed in the sky.' We were shocked. We responded that we had not reported the event. I then asked them who they were. They didn't answer. They both turned and got back into the SUV and pulled away. That was the last time either of us have seen them.

I will mention that the man spoke in a monotone voice that was somewhat high-pitched in tone. Their skin color was weirdly opaque as well. In fact, the 2 men looked like they could have been twins. I still have no explanation. Do you believe that these were what people refer to as 'Men in Black?' W

Multiple BIGFOOT Eyewitness Sighting & Encounter Reports

I recently received the following brief Bigfoot sighting accounts from witnesses in Tennessee, Utah, and Oklahoma. Have you ever had a sighting or encounter? Feel free to contact me.

"I saw a Sasquatch in 2003 cross the Foothills Parkway outside of Maryville, Tennessee.  IT WAS HUGE!  The smell it left was a cross of skunk, dead carcass, and swamp mud.  It had to be 9 feet tall, with shoulders as wide as four feet. Stringy hair but you could see the muscles underneath flex as it moved. Its thighs were round as a tree trunk. Hardly a neck to it and a cone-type head. Long arms. I would describe it as a half-gorilla and half-Neanderthal-man-type animal. I never gave a second thought to a Bigfoot, Sasquatch, or whatever until then.

I do not care to see another ever again in person. People are stupid trying to track these animals down." M

"I and my brother went for a hike to the waterfall above my home up on the mountain in northern Utah. Once we arrived at the top of the mountain and we were at the waterfall we decided to go higher into the pine trees.

I was in front and I started seeing footprints that crossed the stream and were still wet as if whatever crossed had seriously just been there (This was a hot summer day usually in the 90s Fahrenheit). As I remember I put my foot in the print, and it was 1/4 of the footprint my foot was in (This was something walking up there with no shoes and huge feet to boot!). The print looked just like a human foot but huge! I called my older brother over and asked him what does this look like to him?

Next thing I know I look back and see my older brother's head cresting the hill! He was booking it down the mountain! He just leaves me there for dead. Well, I run like I’m gonna die and start running after him. I never saw or heard anything! But turns out my brother said he saw 3 of them just going into the pines. I never saw them personally. I know there were a lot of sightings around that time, especially at the fish farm near there. I must have been 10 years old.

Another thing that happened was when I was maybe 13 as I was riding home. I heard what sounded like a Bigfoot scream up on the mountain. It was so loud it chilled me to the bones Scary! That’s it." T

"My family members saw a Bigfoot in the late 70s and 2014. The 70s sighting was in broad daylight. Looked at them briefly then booked it out of there. Looked like a big hairy man.

The 2014 encounter was a road crossing at about 1 am. It ran across in front of them. Stopped briefly at the wood line to stare at the vehicle then took off into the woods. I don’t think they want to meet us either.

I failed to mention the 70s encounter was right next to Lake Wister, Oklahoma. The 2014 encounter was about 20 miles northeast of Lake Wister. The 70s encounter was in a large pickup truck. It was huge and at least a foot taller than the truck cab. The enormous size and musculature are what made my sister-in-law sure it wasn’t a prankster in a suit. It moved away smoothly and very fast. This area has had many reported sightings and a lot from closed-lipped people who only talk about it if they feel comfortable with you." B

My encounter was about 25 years ago. I was a long-distance truck driver and was in Tennessee. I found an off-the-beaten-path truck stop with a huge empty lot in the back. It was up against a forest. I was too exhausted to explore so I parked out there and went to sleep.

At dusk, I woke to my truck rocking. I jumped up thinking I was dreaming but I was still moving. I figured someone had parked too close and hit me. But when I looked out the passenger side window, there were no other vehicles. Then there it was. It walked into the thickness of the forest about 30 yards away. I know what I saw. It was a Sasquatch for sure.

It was amazing how before my eyes it just disappeared, whether literally or into its surroundings. When I'm in those remote places I think about that day. But I have yet to be so lucky again. I didn't get the vibe until after I had a chance to think about what I actually saw." A

The Night That Hillsboro, New Hampshire Was INVADED!

A young New Hampshire teen was at summer camp. One night he heard what seemed like a conversation coming from outside the cabin, but he was sure that these were not humans.

I received the following account:

"This incident occurred in Hillsboro, New Hampshire when I was attending overnight summer camp when I was 13 years old in August of 1978.

One night, not long after midnight, I awoke quite alert for no apparent reason. It was pitch black in and outside of the cabin. Besides feeling very alert, and not sleepy at all, I felt an instinctive fear.

Then I heard two "things talking" outside the cabin. I would say they were very close, maybe 5 or 10 feet away. They were not human beings because the sounds they were making were not human. On the other hand, they were not animals because they were definitely communicating in an intelligent way, there was no mistaking it. They were questioning and answering each other.

I don't think at the time I had seen any alien or UFO movies. My initial response was a primal fear of the unknown.

After several minutes of laying on my back paralyzed by fear, I gathered my wits and decided to climb up to the top bunk and wake up my best friend. As slowly and quietly as possible, I slipped out of my sleeping bag and climbed up the ladder to his bed. Then, I gently nudged him, whispering in a hushed whisper, "John, wake up. Shhhhh. Just listen."

He woke up, he listened, and he heard them too.

We just listened, frozen, for what was probably only half a minute more. Then one of us whispered something to the other and the voices outside went silent. John and I froze again and were silent.

We waited for several minutes, listening for them, wondering if they were still there. Finally, after some time, reassured that they had probably left, we started whispering to each other again. Though we did not use the words at the time. We were freaked out. It took another half hour before I was comfortable enough to climb back down to my bed and go back to sleep.

In the morning we reported the incident to our counselor. he told us it was probably porcupines. Of course, we knew it was not a porcupine or any animal, but you can imagine he did not pay any attention to us.

The clincher to this incident is that a week later I received a letter in my camper mailbox from my father. This was before email or cell phones, I had no daily communication with my father. In the letter he had enclosed an article he had cut out from a newspaper (Boston Globe). The headline was something like: Hundreds Spot UFOs Over Small New Hampshire Town. (Hillsboro). It had occurred the same night as our incident.

I tried once in recent years to find the article in the Boston Globe microfiche at the Boston Public Library but I couldn't find it. It must have appeared in New Hampshire newspapers at the time too." MM
