Hiker Encounters MASSIVE UPRIGHT 'DOG' CREATURE in the Great Smoky Mountains
A man was camping and hiking in the Great Smoky Mountains. On the 2nd day, he encountered a massive upright cryptid canine while on the trail. Though shocked, he lived to tell his tale.
I received the following account:
"This took place in Western North Carolina in July 2021. The weekend this happened I headed to an area in the vicinity of the Great Smoky Mountains near Waynesville in Haywood County for a solo camping trip. At that time in my life, I needed to be alone to get away and clear my head, after being cooped up for the last two years or so. I drove there on a Friday night and had an uneventful first evening setting up camp and then I hit the sack early. I got up about 5:30 AM the next morning and I didn't waste any time heading out since I wanted to beat most of the midday summer heat.
All was good for a while until I was hiking up a steep trail. I was huffing and puffing. When I stopped to catch my breath I saw a dog way off in the distance. At first, it didn't even really register with me but it was coming my way and as it got closer I became aware of how much larger it was than other dogs usually are and it was moving along using only its back legs. It had grayish-brown fur and it was massive, easily the size of a bear. I was totally confused because I realized that it was upright! I looked around to see if anybody else was on the trail but it was just me and this thing on this mountain trail in the middle of nowhere.
The fear started to set in as I began to fully understand the seriousness of this situation. I didn't know what this creature was and I had no idea if it would attack me. Thoughts started creeping into my mind of all the things that might possibly happen but I stood my ground and I didn't flinch hoping that if I didn't make any movement it would just go away.
It was soon within a hundred feet of me, but then it stopped. It stared at me with its piercing eyes and I swear it was 'talking' to me. I just knew it I could sense my fear and confusion. This creature didn't seem angry, just curious like the way a dog would come running up to you frantically and then just stop and look at you and then just turn around and walk away. But it didn't retreat. Then it left the trail and it headed out where I soon lost sight of it. At that point I smelled the odor of sulfur, so strong that I felt the urge to wretch right there on the trail. I started to feel faint, so I sat down on a nearby log to catch my breath.
As I sat there, I tried to make sense of what had just happened. I was dizzy and disoriented. I just kept thinking about the dog creature. It had just walked up to me and looked at me like it knew what I was thinking. This powerfully built creature could have easily killed me and yet it didn't even seem at all like it wanted to do that. I think it just wanted to see me up close or check me out.
Even though I can't remember every second of the encounter I still can't get it out of my head. It comes back to me in waves, like flashbacks. The entire encounter probably only lasted a minute or two but looking back on it I felt like it happened in slow motion, taking forever. In some ways I even find myself doubting that it happened.
I took a huge drink of water. I was skeptical of my own eyes and thought that maybe I had hallucinated the encounter due to dehydration. After that, I turned around headed back to my campsite, fixed something to eat, and hung out a bit longer. But, eventually, I decided not to stay another night so I packed it up and headed back home.
I still can't say for sure what that creature was. I know that I'm still alive to tell the tale which means it wasn't angry. I will say that my funk ended after that incident, and I have a totally different view of life." E

Experiencer Recalls GREY ALIEN Incident While Hunting in Illinois
An upper Midwest man recalls his Grey alien encounter while bow hunting with his father in Jo Daviess County, Illinois. He believes that most of the incident was blocked from his memory.
I received the following account:
"This incident happened in October 1988 and has seemed to only come back to me over time. For years I thought it was a vivid dream. But now I am wondering if this really happened to me and if it was blocked from my memory when it happened.
My father and I were bow hunting for deer on the border of Illinois and Wisconsin near Jo Daviess County, Illinois. I was 15 years old at the time of this event. I had a deer come under my tree stand and take a shot. I waited for my father to return to my tree stand as he was about a mile away in his own tree stand. This was well after dark. I told him that I had taken a shot and we proceeded to follow the blood trail together.
As we were walking through the field following the trail, I observed a violet light hovering over the tree line going from left to right. I told my father and he didn't pay much attention because he was following the blood trail and told me to quit messing around. I shined my flashlight at the light and it darted off toward the woods very fast.
After some time the trail stopped and my father said we would resume the search in the morning but he thought I probably had a brisket shot, too low, and wasn't going to get the deer.
That night we ate dinner cooked by the Coleman stove and got ready for bed in the back of his old 1973 Chevy pickup. It had a metal cab on the back and I remember windows on the side and in the back. My dad snored loud and I remember him snoring that night. As I was lying in the back of the truck at some point in the night or early morning, I remember having a frightening feeling that someone was watching me to the point I didn't want to open my eyes. I did and through the side, window saw what I think was the big-eyed large head Grey looking back at me. I closed my eyes again and heard what was like a mechanical voice telling me, "We are not going to hurt you."
Then something made me open the back window of the truck cab and get out. When I did I observed three short and two taller big head big-eyed aliens and a disc-shaped craft landed in the field about 200 feet from the truck. I remember the little ones touching my fingers and leading me toward the craft and saying, "Do not be scared" in a mechanical voice that seemed to be in my head.
That is all I remember. I woke up in the back of the truck thinking it had been only a vivid scary dream, But it has bothered me since it happened. To this day when I see an image on TV or other of a big head, big-eyed Grey alien it sends chills down my spine!" W

WENDIGO Encounter Claimed By Minnesota Witness?
A Minnesota man claims that he had an encounter with a Wendigo creature in February 1972 when he was younger. The following information was part of an interview he gave on the incident.
“We found a nice steep hill, we could go sledding. We climbed up to the top and we found the top of that hill was another steep hill. So we climbed up to the top of that one and on the top of that one, sitting at another angle to it, was a third steep hill. So we were in hog heaven, we were like, "Man, we're gonna make the ultimate luge run ever. It was about in the 20s today, the snow's kinda melty, and we can make this really great sledding run, it's gonna be awesome." So we spent all afternoon making this awesome sledding run with supers and embankments and everything on it. So we said, it's too wet to use it now. We have to come back after it freezes again.
So, two days later it was 20 below and it was afternoon, 2nd week in February, 1972. And we said, well, let's go back and go sledding now. It's super cold, it's Friday, school's out – awesome, we'll get in some sledding all day. And we took off with our little sleds and we went back there. Well, each of us made two runs down the hill and we had started out in such a way that I can't remember which one of us got to the top first but one of us was going down the hill while the other one was only about halfway up the second hill. So, when one was at the top, the other was at the bottom working our way up. And it was going back and forth. When it was my turn, I was up at the top and I put my little sled down. I had a five or six-foot rut right up to the edge of this really steep first hill. And I looked back behind me and all that was on this hill was just barren hardwood trees, mostly smaller ones. A few popples and there was one really huge black spruce that was about 40 feet away from me. I turned around, I was about to jump on my sled but something just didn't seem right, so I turned back and I looked again.
I'm 13 years old. I'm not that observant, I'm like, something just looks different, and again something in the back of my head went that's just not right. That's not right. So I turned around and I looked. That black spruce only has one trunk, not three. And those two extra trunks have fur on them, well, hair, really long hair. Long grey hair. What's got long grey hair? Is there some kind of snow pants with long hair or something? Ah, it must be somebody pranking me. So I looked up above to where, you know, a teenager or even an adult would be, like maybe 5 or 6 feet but there were just pine branches there. Then I noticed rustling up above that about three more feet so I looked up above that and up at 9 feet, there was this face looking at me and it had its hands like this (mimics holding tree branches apart with his left hand (lower branch) and his right hand (upper branch) while peering through holding one branch apart at the top and the bottom, peering down at me and it went (mimics a wide open-mouthed grin) and it grinned. And its face did not look even remotely human. It had a flat nose with two little slits, it had a big thick brow ridge, receding forehead. It was hard to see from up here. I don't know if it had a crest or not because that's where the branch was. When it grinned, I could see all of its teeth. It had upper and lower canines in all of its teeth in its mouth in the front that I could see were all sharp so it was obvious to me this thing was a predator. I found out after the fact actually the only time a great ape would bare its teeth at something is when it's trying to scare it so basically it was saying, this is one of the weapons I will use to tear you apart. So at the time, not knowing that but being plenty scared anyway, I leaped on my sled and flew down that hill as fast as I could. I was just gonna get away from the monster.
About halfway down the hill, my friend was walking up and saw me coming and he said, "I didn't even have to guess what was going on, I just saw your face was white, your eyes were bulging and you said: Run like hell! So I jumped on my sled and I was right behind you. Now when I got to the end of the fire lane, back at the house, it was about three miles away. I was about 15 minutes if that. For about 10 of those minutes, I was standing there going, “Where was I just at? I'm not waiting for Dave. Why am I waiting for Dave?"
I had hysterical amnesia and completely forgot that whole incident for two years. And finally at one point, my friend Dave, we had this little gathering with me, him, and three or four other friends and he said, "Remember that time we went sledding out there at the end of the fire lane? I'm like, "No." He said, "Yeah, we went across that bog and we found those really steep hills, the three of them stacked up?" and I'm like, "No." And he goes, "Yeah, and you were coming down the hill really fast and you said run like hell."
BOOM! And it all came back. For like a month, I wouldn't talk to him because it was so traumatic. Actually, I'm still getting treated for post-traumatic stress to this day and that's one of the things I'm being treated for. When you're 13 years old and you see a 9-foot predatory monster which turns out to be the Wendigo, after a few decades of studying, it's not a comforting thing. And it also ruins your belief in authority figures and your parents who told you there's no such thing as monsters.
There's a friggin monster out there. Don't tell me there's no such thing as monsters. And I see bears all the time. I live a mile from the county dump. There are three or four of them in my yard every week during the summer so it isn't like I'm mistaking it. This is in the middle of winter, 2nd week in January, twenty below, so bears aren't gonna be up wandering around anyway. Plus, they are not nine feet tall. With eight to ten-inch greyish-white hair, especially in Minnesota. It did have claws on its hand which is another thing that threw me. It took me years to figure that one out because all the Bigfoots they show didn't have claws or anything like that.” B
NOTE: The interview was a bit sporadic, but I was able to transcribe most of it. It was presented to me as an audio attachment.
I don't know what this witness had encountered. Was it a Wendigo? I doubt it since the phenomenon is based more on human possession as opposed to it being an actual cryptid being. What are your thoughts? Lon

Creepy HUMAN ACTIVITY at Bald Eagle State Park, PA
A group of four friends were camping at Bald Eagle State Park. Later that night, an unmarked black pickup truck was seen roaming the area around their campsite, frightening 2 of the campers.
I received the following account:
"Hi, Lon. In June of this year, I went camping for a night with four friends in Bald Eagle State Park in Centre County, Pennsylvania. We had reserved a site that was somewhat remote, not near any of the other campsites. After we got there early, we hiked up to the site, set up camp, and then hiked around the area.
Later, we made a fire, cooked dinner, and turned in not long afterward. At around 2 a.m. one of my friends and I couldn't sleep, so we trekked up to the main road. When we got to the road we stood near the entrance to our site. As we stood there a black pickup truck with its lights off appeared out of the woods and passed us very slowly. It was unmarked, but not a ranger. After 45 minutes or so, we decided to head back to bed. One of the girls went off into the woods to take care of some things while I climbed back into the tent I shared with her and got into my bag.
After a couple of minutes, I heard her moving through the leaves towards the tent coming from my right. At the same time, I also heard the unmistakable rumble of tires on the ground. I stood up and looked out of the little screen window on the tent. It was a perfectly clear night with a very bright moon so I could see everything. I saw my friend come sprinting back to the tent and duck behind it just as the black truck pulled into our campsite, still with its headlights off, and then shut off its engine and sat there. The truck was parked about 50 feet from my tent but I couldn't see a driver or how many people were in there. I just watched it. My friend had ducked down behind our tent and I could hear by her breathing that she was terrified but neither of us said a word.
We just kept waiting for something to happen. Eventually, after 10-15 minutes, the truck started up again and then backed up down the narrow dirt road. It never turned its headlights on. I heard it drive back in the direction it had originally come from. My friend burst into the tent a second later. She was freaked out and wondered who was in the truck. After a frantic conversation, we went laid down, but we couldn't relax enough to fall asleep.
In the morning, we all packed up and headed out, as we had planned. We checked with the park and they do not own any black unmarked trucks, nor did any ranger come to check on our site during the night.
The reason I'm writing to you about this is that I know that you have received several Bigfoot reports from Bald Eagle State Park. I was just wondering if you had heard or read of other strange human activity at the location. My other two friends, strangely, never noticed or heard the truck. The entire incident didn't seem right and it has bothered me since." H
NOTE: Bald Eagle State Park has had its share of unexplained activity, especially involving cryptids. As far as strange human activity, well, many of us have encountered a few odd people in the woods on occasion. Hiker Confronts UPRIGHT REPTILIAN HUMANOID in California's Yosemite Valley
A hiker in the Yosemite Valley stopped to rest and grab some food by a stream when he noticed a biped creature that he described as a reptilian. Things got stranger as time went on.
I received the following account:
"This happened in the Sierra Nevadas, in Yosemite Valley, California. It was a place that I'd been looking forward to hiking for a long time. I had prepared all my gear the previous night, double-checking everything. Water, food, tent, map, everything. I was just itching to get out there and explore. The sun's peeking up over the horizon and it's just so serene.
Anyway, a few hours into the hike, I stopped to refuel, taking a bit of a breather. I find a nook near a stream. I'm settling down to eat and I hear this sound. First I think it's probably a squirrel or something. But then the sound gets louder and heavier. Suddenly I'm on alert. I'm no stranger to wildlife and I instantly knew that this was different. I can just feel it in my gut. So I decided to move towards it and check it out. I tread lightly trying to figure out the source of the sound and then I see this creature. It's not a bear, not a mountain lion, not anything that you would expect to see in the mountains. It was something different.
This creature stood on its hind legs like a human but was much taller. The body was covered in these scales, like a lizard, but these were larger, almost like armor-plating. There was also a dark green color, almost black in some places, and its limbs were muscular but lean, like a runner's but way more powerful. The head was the most striking part. It had these slanted almond-shaped eyes that glowed an eerie yellow. It didn't have a snout, more like a flat face. There were these slits where a nose should be and the mouth was filled with sharp jagged teeth, but not like predator's teeth, more like rows of serrated knives, if that makes sense. I didn't see any wings or anything, but it had a long tail, almost as long as the body, like a kangaroo's tail. It had four fingers but they were long and ended in these sharp curved claws. The thing I remember the most was that the creature moved so smoothly, like water flowing over rocks, almost graceful.
You're probably thinking I'm pulling your leg or messing with you but I swear this is exactly what I saw. This reptilian-like creature was some next-level, out-of-this-world kind of being. I had a good five minutes or so to just stare at the thing. It's standing there at the edge of the clearing just observing me, like it's trying to figure me out. It didn't seem hostile, I mean it was freaky as hell. I didn't want to provoke it. But instead of coming at me it just kind of mirrored me as I moved. It was like we were doing some weird kind of dance. I know it sounds nuts but it was as if the creature was just as curious about me as I was about it.
We stood there for what felt like hours but I'm sure it was just a few minutes. At one point I could swear it made a sound like a low hum or something. I couldn't make much of it, but it didn't seem threatening. Then suddenly it turned and disappeared. I was in shock. I mean, what did I just witness?
So now, at this point, there I was alone in the clearing with my heart pounding like a drum. I'm just standing there wondering if this really just happened. I was trying to process everything. I decided to follow in the direction where the creature went. I couldn't just let it go and I had to know more. As I moved closer to where it disappeared I noticed these huge tracks on the ground. It was not anything I had ever seen in any guidebook. The air felt different too, almost electric. It felt charged and there was this energy around that I just can't explain. I pushed through the undergrowth following the tracks. It felt like I was in some kind of a dream or a movie, like at any moment I would just wake up back in my tent and it would all be over. But no, this was real and it was actually happening.
I walked further into the woods. I noticed that the tracks became harder to find, then they started to disappear. It was like the creature had just vanished Into thin air. I must have looked around for an hour or more but there was no other sign of it. It was gone. But I swear to you that every time I closed my eyes that night I could see those eyes. Its form was burned into my memory. I still can't believe what I saw that day." KL

WALKING DEAD 'JUJU' Encounter on Chicago's L-Train
A Chicago resident is on the 'L' in Chicago when a large African-American man boards. Immediately, the eyewitness knows that this is an 'undead being' sent to kill!
I received the following account:
“I was riding the 'L' (in Chicago), going to a rock and roll concert on the train, and sitting two or three seats off from the door. In walks this large African-American gentleman. I worked in healthcare for 22 years and I know that man, as long I've been alive, he's been dead. I looked up at him, his hair's kind of matted. My blood just ran cold. I looked up and his ears were sewn shut. His eyelids were sewn shut. His nose. His mouth. Everything was sewn shut. And I'm sitting there just looking at him and I'm freaking out inside and I'm thinking, 'God, please. Let him not be for me!' He rode for about two or three stops and then got off. And am just terrified out of my mind.
So I got to the show. See some of my friends. Talk a little bit and they are like, man, I don't even know what that is. I'm like, it's the walking dead. Ghosts I get, but the walking dead, that's not right. That's not natural. Oh my God! There was no way you could not see it. I'm sitting there and I'm looking at it. I was thinking, 'Glove to Glove, God, Gabriel, all the angels, please watch over me right now!' He walked right off the thing.
So I went through and I looked it up and there is actually a popular zombie, it was the JuJu and it was probably sent by some black practitioner out to go and do one thing and that is to kill somebody.”
NOTE: For the most part, Vodou is used for good magic or white magic. JuJu is used when it comes to black magic in certain Creole and African practices. Juju has derived its name from the French word 'joujou' which means 'toy' and is performed to capture supernatural powers into an object. In this case, a possible 'undead being.' Lon

WARNING! Don't Take Our Rocks! 'THE CURSE OF GETTYSBURG!'
Occasionally, the Gettysburg National Military Park will receive a package that contains a rock or other item that was removed by a tourist to the Battlefield. Why? Because of 'The Curse.'
From the blog of the Gettysburg National Military Park:
The packages seem totally innocuous. Not very large. Slightly heavier than you might expect for their size. Addressed to Gettysburg National Military Park, but not to a specific department or person. Often without a return address. Not terribly unusual at all.
Except for the curse.
The boxes in question hold rocks. Rocks that were previously removed from the park, and are now being returned. In almost every case, they also contain a letter, such as the one below, received in May of this year:
It is important to remember that removing rocks from the park is a violation of Chapter 36 of the Code of Federal Regulations. Section 2.1(a)(1)(iv) prohibits “Possessing, destroying, injuring, defacing, removing, digging or disturbing from its natural state a mineral resource or cave formation or the parts thereof.” If these individuals had been caught in the act, they would have been cited and fined $100, plus a $30 processing fee. All in all, they may have preferred that.

Colorado Teens Witness BIGFOOT Beating Large Dog!
Two Golden, Colorado teens sneak out of their homes at night. They approach a recreation area and are shocked as they observe a Bigfoot literally beating a dog with a stick.
I received the following account:
“It was 1978 about 20 miles west of Denver in Golden, Colorado. This was right before my family moved to Montana. I and a buddy of mine were 16 years old at the time. What we did was we kind of snuck out of the house at night, you know. This was on Lookout Mountain Road. We come out around the corner and there's a recreation area on the right side. They have company picnics in there, a baseball diamond, picnic tables, etc.
There was this tall creature standing near the pitcher's mound, beating a large dog with a stick. This thing was at least 8 feet tall and it wasn't human, I could tell that right away. Yeah, it was a Bigfoot! The dog was either unconscious or dead.
Right across the street is the Nature Center and there's a big stone gate and there is a very strong Chinook wind blowing. We get behind the gate and we're watching this scene. It's got the dog by the tail and it's beating this dog on the head. It had the dog in its left hand and the stick in the right. Holding it out, you know.
I turned to my friend and I whispered. I forget what I whispered. I think I said, "Can you believe this?" This thing turned its head towards us like it heard me whisper. We had to be at least a hundred yards away from it. Maybe the heavy wind allowed my voice to carry. We were downwind from it.
It suddenly took off running and must have covered two hundred yards in five seconds or so. After several minutes, we walked over to the dog. By that time, the poor thing was mangled and dead. About an hour later, after retrieving a shovel, we buried the dog in the woods. There was no collar or identification on it. I have no idea why Bigfoot was beating the dog.
After all these years, my friend and I still talk about the incident. P”

Recent ANOMALOUS VIDEO Emerges From LOCH NESS
The newly released footage shows a black shape breaching the surface of Loch Ness in Scotland. Is it 'Nessie,' or possibly another cryptid or unexplained anomaly?
An Irish man said new footage shows the Loch Ness monster emerging from its watery lair. Eoin O’Faodhagain, from County Donegal, reckons his latest video is his strangest yet. It shows a black shape breaching the loch's surface and moving steadily north against the current.He said: “I kept zooming in and out of the video clip, and just as well because I got one of the strangest images I have ever got in Loch Ness. It’s this image of a half-circle hump, light grey in color with three uniform black spots.
“If I was looking up in the sky at it, I would have said it was a UFO, but I was looking at a webcam over part of Loch Ness. I have no idea what this strange moving object is, only to suggest it could be a young Nessie. As nobody to date knows what the Loch Ness Monster is, nobody can say it isn't.”
Whether the shape was a head, a hump, or something else entirely, Eoin believes most of its mass was hidden underwater.
“The size of the object out of the water was not big, only maybe two feet long but there seemed to be a lot going on underneath the water. As it moved further from the camera, you could see a lot of splashing going on around it, and this was very peculiar as it was not moving fast.”
“The markings of the three black-spot pattern is very unusual. No seal or otter has markings like that, and, as for an eel, no on that as well. Anyway, it is moving too rigidly for any of these animals, and at a constant slow pace. Snakes might have markings on their skin, but what snake has a two-foot oval hump?”

'Will THEY Visit Me Again? What Do THEY Want? (SKETCHES)
An Ohio woman recalls her alien encounter & abduction and wonders if they will return. It has been 9 years, and she still has physical & mental scars related to the incident.
I received the following account:
"I'm going to say I did not believe in alien abduction before this happened. I know it wasn't a dream. I was at home. I am lying in my bed writing a song. I was really depressed and didn't know why I was still alive and what was my purpose. I wasn't tired or anything but I guess I must have fallen asleep or something.
The next thing I know I'm laying on a bed. It was hard and felt like metal under my body. I was naked. I could only turn my head a little looking around I saw beings, gray but not short. They were tall, I'd say around 6 feet or more. They had eyes the shape of almonds. They had no clothing on. They didn't walk, they moved so smoothly. I started to panic because 3 of them started towards me. All of a sudden I get this voice in my head to turn my head to the right. As I'm turning my head above me are these tubes that weren't hard but like rubber that wiggled. As I finished turning my head standing beside me was this tall being. The head was gray, it had almond-shaped eyes but the body was like a liquid. It told me not to be afraid, but it didn't speak it. It was like it was in my head speaking.
All of a sudden I get this sharp burning pain in my left ankle. I tried to move. I tried to do something but I was being held down by some force or maybe paralyzed. Again this main being came right over me and looked down at me. I could feel tears going down my face. In my head, I asked why is this happening. It smiled but I didn't see the smile, I felt it. It told me that I needed to say to them something. I can't remember what I'm supposed to say to them and don't know who I'm supposed to tell it to.
After that, my head snapped to where I was looking up at these hanging tubes. One of them started to slowly come down towards me. As it got to my right eye it went from limp and soft to hard and it had a point like a needle. As the needle-type tube was about to enter my right eye. The main being put its hand on my forehead. The next thing I know I wake up and I'm looking out into space. I'm in a smaller craft looking at a larger craft. But it was all hazy like I was drugged. The windows on the big cigar-shaped craft looked like swirling water.
The next thing I know I'm laying back in my bed two hours later. My left ankle felt like it was on fire. I put my hand down there and felt a mark. It was diamond-shaped. It looked like it had already started healing as a scar. For the next week, I had a hard time walking on that foot. It felt like something was burning inside my ankle.
This occurred in Massillon, Ohio on 8-11-2014 at around 6:15 PM. 9 years later I still have the diamond-shaped scar but it is very light. I don't know what they did when they stuck that tube needle into my eye. I really want to find a way to remember what I am supposed to tell them, whoever them is.
Ever since this, I have become a recluse. I want to know what happened to me that night and why they did these things to me.
