Lake George, NY Canoers Observe Upright LEMUR-LIKE CREATURE on Shore

Two are canoeing on Lake George in New York when they spot a small upright creature that looks very much like a lemur. It climbs a tree and blends in with its surroundings.
I received the following account
“My brother and I were canoeing on Lake George in New York State at about sunset. We headed south for 10 minutes to an area known as Dear Leap at Lakeside. It's a boulder-strewn area with cliffs rising 600 ft above the shoreline.
As we were beginning to come to this area, we saw something standing on the shore. It was brownish in color and standing straight up with its arms at its sides. It was about the size of a small man and very thin. Its body was facing south looking down the shoreline when it suddenly turned its head directly toward us and looked very intently. We whispered to each other and watched it while it watched us.
We were two grown men paddling parallel to the shore and about 200 ft out but we could not summon up the courage to go in closer. This thing had a strange look, with almost a crazed grin, like a giant lemur.
The sun was set now as we continued to watch it in the shadows of the mountain as it was standing next to an old dead pine tree. It turned and climbed sloth-like up the tree about 20 feet to the first and only large limb and onto the crook of a branch.
We paddled back around and as we approached it again, it cocked its head directly at us. After about a minute or so it turned its face downward into its body and became as if it were part of the tree, just as a lump on the crook of a branch. You would not know if it was there unless you saw it move.
I have lived in this area all my life and have never seen anything like this and I have not seen it since. In my searching I have found a reference to a creature found in the woods of New Hampshire, they called it the Devil or the Stickman. The one thing in common is that they can blend into trees to avoid being seen.”

UPRIGHT HORNED WEREWOLF Reported in Gloucestershire, UK

The witness stated, "I don’t even know how to explain this but I’m not the sort to believe in ghosts, devils, demons, and cryptids. But this has changed my mind drastically."

I received the following account:

"I live in the United Kingdom and live in the countryside. I live on a moderately busy lane and have loads of fields behind my house. 5 minutes up the road there’s a hill, it’s called Cole Peak (changed for privacy) in Gloucestershire. It’s about 6 fields away from my house and a 5-minute walk from the road.

Me and my 2 mates go to the peak that overlooks our town and can see the Severn Bridge and a place called Stone House. They smoke weed but I don’t so I can’t blame it on the weed. We sat up the top for a good hour chilling, we decided to go home as it was around 2am. They walk the roadway as it leads to the town where they live and I decided to walk to the fieldway as I didn’t wanna walk down the road on my own after my mates turn off, so to get to the fields you have to walk through a little forest for around 1-2 minutes, it was pitch black, moon shining bright, stars in the sky. As I said before I don’t get scared so I wasn’t that bothered, I got around 2/3 through the forest when I heard sticks cracking to my left as if something heavy was walking, I just glanced over and presumed it was a fox or badger. I get towards the gate and open it as it leads into the fields that lead to my house. I closed the gate and started to walk and that’s when I heard something I will never forget, it sounded like Minecraft creeper but a lot deeper sounding and bigger. I turned around and on the path, I could see this thing, around 6 feet tall, skinny, head shaped like a dog, and had horns.

I thought my eyes were playing tricks so I just stood there watching it hoping it was going to vanish. Well to my surprise after around 5 seconds it started to very slowly walk closer and closer until it got to the gate, it was like it didn’t know what to do except just stand there. I was sweating, had a red vision, and thought I was going to have an anxiety attack. I slowly walked across the field trying to figure out what the f*ck it was. I looked back about halfway across the field and it was gone. Sigh of relief, can finally calm down and just take a nice walk home. Yeah, that’s what I was hoping for. I was in the last field from my house, house in view. I knew all I had to do was jump over my fence and I was in my garden. I got to my fence and hopped over, I felt safe and secure. I was walking across my garden to get to the back door and behind me, my drive light came on. Now this light only comes on if it detects motion or it’s really windy and a branch sways in front of it, it wasn’t windy nor did I walk past it. All of a sudden I had this fear of getting snatched so I quickly ran to my back door, opened it, and ran to my attic-converted room. My skylight window looks over my drive where the light came on and I stood on my bed and looked out the window. That’s when I saw this werewolf-looking thing with horns, standing there sniffing around the cars. It wasn’t a dog, it wasn’t small enough to be a badger or a fox, and wasn’t a cow or anything like that. I got into bed and just watched movies till the sun came up and slept then.

Ever since then I never look out my window at night and never walk through those fields.

I honestly don’t know what this thing was but it scared the crap out of me I won’t go out in my garden past 11pm." CBD

The eyewitness included this follow-up:

On the night of December 7, 2018, it was very cold. That’s why we only stayed for an hour at that peak.

It could have been a dude in a mask first sighting, but the chances of that are really, really slim as I’ve lived here 15 years now and pretty much know 90% of the town and have never heard of anyone saying anything about a scary sighting or anything along those lines. The thing by the cars was definitely not a man in a mask. It wasn’t small horns, it looked like horns that had a few horns coming off it. I don’t know what it was but I definitely don’t want to see or be given it again.

NOTE: from the description of the area, I believe this occurred in 'The Cotswolds' (known for a myriad of strange activities) or a location just across the Severn River. Wendigo, Fleshgait, etc. Who knows? BTW, there was a Sherlock Holmes case titled 'The Cotswolds Werewolf.' Lon

The Hagley Woods Mystery: WHO PUT BELLA IN THE WYCH ELM?

On 18 April 1943, four teenage boys from nearby Stourbridge, Robert Hart, Thomas Willetts, Bob Farmer, and Fred Payne, were in the woods poaching. It was a chilly spring day in the rural Midlands area of England. They came upon an old hollow elm tree and decided it would be an ideal place to search for birds’ nests. Bob Farmer attempted to clamber up into the tree, but as he glanced down inside the hollow trunk he suddenly saw the empty eye-sockets of a whitened skull, staring up at him from among the twisted branches.

At first, he didn’t realize what he was looking at and thought it must belong to an animal, possibly an opossum. But as he pulled the skull out from the gnarled branches and saw a small patch of rotting flesh on the forehead, the remains of some hair, and metal fillings in the teeth he realized what he’d found. The boys panicked...they were on the land illegally, after all, and were afraid of being punished for trespassing. They vowed to forget their grisly find and tell no one.

After hours of hand-wringing the youngest boy, Tommy Willetts, felt uncomfortable about keeping such a secret and decided to tell his father what they’d found. Naturally, his father then told the Worcestershire County Police, who went to the site the following morning. Inside and around the old tree they found not only the human skull but an almost complete skeleton, a crêpe-soled shoe, and some fragments of rotted clothing. During a careful search of the surrounding undergrowth, a severed hand from the body was also discovered buried nearby.

The task of examining the body fell to Prof James Webster, then head of the Home Office Forensic Science Laboratory in the West Midlands. After a detailed examination at the lab at Birmingham, Professor Webster ascertained that the woman was probably about 35 years old and five feet tall. She had mousy brown hair and a malformed lower jaw. There was a cheap gold wedding ring, no more than four years old, and she had given birth at least once. He estimated that she had been dead for at least 18 months before she was found.

There were no marks of disease or violence on the body, but her mouth had been stuffed with taffeta and one hand had been severed and buried at the foot of the tree. The coroner declared the cause of death asphyxiation and estimated the time of death to be around October of 1941, a year and a half before her body’s discovery. He stated that the woman was probably murdered and then pushed into the hole while still warm, as the body would not have fitted into the hollow trunk after rigor mortis had set in.

Professor Webster was able to reconstruct almost exactly what the woman had been wearing at the time of her murder, and it was then possible for the police to issue a description that must have been very close to the actual appearance of the mystery woman.

Most of the investigators thought it would only be a matter of time before she was identified. But the most unusual detail was that despite exhaustive searches through dental records, no trace of the woman was found. Even after a description of the woman and the specific irregularities of her lower jaw was published in dentists’ journals, and even though she’d had a tooth taken out from the right side of her lower jaw within a year of her death, there was no response. The only thing that the police were fairly certain of was that the woman was a stranger to the area. There were no local missing persons whose description matched that of the victim. As well, only one clue came from anyone in the vicinity of Hagley.

This clue was in the form of a report from the executive of an industrial company. In July 1941, he had been walking to his lodgings in Hagley Green, when he heard a woman’s screams coming from Hagley Wood. A couple of minutes later he met a schoolteacher walking in the opposite direction who had also heard the screams. The men phoned the police who arrived and searched Hagley Wood, but nothing was found. This incident was exactly 20 months before the body was discovered, and, considering the pathologist’s estimate that the woman had been dead for at least 18 months before she was found, seemed extremely promising. However, as with many clues in what the press were now calling the “Tree Murder Riddle, it was to lead nowhere.

Around Christmas 1943, graffiti began to appear on the walls of empty buildings in various parts of the West Midlands area.

The first message, written in large blocky letters in white chalk, said WHO PUT LUEBELLA DOWN THE WYCH-ELM? In the following weeks, the graffiti changed into WHO PUT BELLA IN THE WYCH ELM?...and so it has remained for over six decades.

Though the graffiti seemed to be the work of a hoaxer, there was the slim possibility suggested by the slogans that somebody knew something about the crime. Appeals for the mysterious graffitist to contact the police proved futile, though the messages continued to appear, and have so, intermittently up until the present time. However, the immediate result at the beginning of 1944 was that the unknown woman was given a nickname that even the police adopted.

There were and still are many theories as to the identity of ‘Bella’ and the mystery of her murder. But perhaps the most controversial was put forward at the time by Professor Margaret Murray, of University College, London. She was a respected anthropologist, archaeologist, and Egyptologist, but her theories on the origins and organization of witchcraft, with her suggestion that it pre-dated Christianity, were controversial, and not taken seriously by many of her colleagues.

Professor Murray drew attention to the fact that the hand was missing from the skeleton when found and suggested it was the sign of a black magic execution. She linked it with ‘The Hand of Glory’, traditionally obtained in the dead of night when it would be cut from the body of an executed criminal hanging from the gibbet or gallows. The hand was supposed to possess powerful magic and was used to protect its owner from evil spirits, to reveal where the treasure was buried or even to put people to sleep. She also drew attention to the ‘ancient tradition’ that the spirit of a dead witch could be prevented from causing any more harm by being imprisoned in the hollow of a tree. Inevitably no evidence was ever found to back this up and some people believed that an animal could have been responsible for removing the hand from the skeleton.

Another major theory, somewhat less extreme than the witchcraft explanation, and with a little more evidence to support it, emerged ten years after the discovery of the body and came in the form of a letter to the Midlands newspaper The Wolverhampton Express and Star. The letter was sent to the columnist Lt. Col. Wilfred Byford-Jones, who in November 1953, had written a series of articles on the Hagley Wood murder. The mysterious person who sent the letter claimed to have information about the murder and signed herself ‘ANNA, Claverley’. According to this “Anna”, Bella was actually a foreign spy who had been part of a ring scouting out munitions factories in the area and reporting back to the Luftwaffe. The murder victim, ‘Anna’ claimed, was a Dutch woman who had arrived in England illegally about 1941 and had become involved in these activities. She had accidentally learned too much about a British officer who was a mole involved in the spy ring. To guarantee her silence, the officer and another spy killed Bella before dumping her body in the woods. The letter named the British officer involved, but he was discovered to have died insane in 1942.

Eventually when Byford-Jones and the police met ‘Anna’ they learned that the officer involved had been a close relative connected to a spy ring selling secrets to Germany. According to Byford–Jones, some of Anna’s facts were subsequently verified, and apparently, both MI5 and the police investigated her claims. Richard Deacon in his book, 'Murder by Witchcraft: A Study of the Lower Quinton and Hagley Wood murders' mentions that there was contact with an ex-Nazi called Herr Franz Rathgeb, who had spent time in the English Midlands during the war, and knew a German agent named Lehrer who had a girlfriend also working a German spy. She was a Dutchwoman possibly called Clarabella Dronkers, who had lived in Birmingham, was about 30, and had irregular teeth. It is a known fact that a Dutchman named Johannes Marinus Dronkers was executed for spying by the British in December 1942, but whether there was ever a Clarabella Dronkers has never been proven.

Rumors that two German parachutists had landed and vanished in the Hagley area early in 1941 seemed to add more weight to the ‘spy’ theory. It all sounded somewhat promising when all of this came to light. The public became convinced that Bella had either been a spy or mixed up with spies. And when it emerged that her skeleton had disappeared from the Birmingham University Medical School, an outcry of conspiracy and cover-up began...though no proof was ever presented. Certainly, if she was discovered spying for Germany by the British she would have been arrested and questioned and not executed and stuffed in a tree.

There were other theories, of course, that Bella was a prostitute who had picked up the wrong 'john' - that she had been a refugee fleeing the Blitz and had met a rapist in the woods - that she was a gypsy murdered by her tribe for some horrible misdeed. But for the people around Hagley Woods, the first two theories still held the most weight.

However, if Bella was a local woman sheltering from the blitz, then some clues should have turned up to her identity by now, either from relatives attempting to locate her or from relevant dental records, but nothing has ever been found, and it seems no-one knew anything about her.

The case is still open, though it has long since gone cold. With the body missing and over six decades between the murder and today, the only clear thing is that the chances of anyone uncovering Bella’s true identity and that of her murderer are so slim as to be impossible. Just as we may never be sure of Jack the Ripper’s identity, so too will Bella become a figure of myth and folklore.

But the mystery of Bella will not rest so lightly it seems. On August 18, 1999, a 200-year-old stone obelisk on the Hagley Hall estate was found one morning covered in graffiti in tall white letters, ‘WHO PUT BELLA IN THE WYCH ELM?'

BIGFOOT CARRYING DEER Hit By Car in Hamilton County, New York

A Hamilton County, New York driver hit a supposed Bigfoot that was carrying a deer along Route 8 in July 2014. The incident was never reported to the police.

I received the following account:

“Hello. I was driving home through the mountains from a concert on July 11th, 2014 on Route 8 in Hamilton County, New York. It was 12:37 AM. I hit a creature that was carrying a deer with my car. My car was damaged from the hood to the rear by this creature and I know it was at least injured and its DNA may have been on my car.

The speed limit was 55 and I was not able to stop in time when I saw the creature who was carrying a deer about to step into the road. I hit the brakes but I was only able to slow down before impact. I did not really believe in Bigfoot before that night and I'm still shaken up and I have not been able to share this story with anyone. I wanted to stop and see if the creature was okay but I was scared out of my wits to stop and get out of the car.

The creature was huge, at least 7 and 1/2 ft tall. I've seen drawings and such of Bigfoot and this creature looks similar but had white around its hairline and its fur was dark brown almost black.

I'm shaking writing this and I'm in such disbelief that this happened to me. I didn't even report the accident to the police and I didn't know what to tell my insurance company. My car was totaled. The creature crushed my windshield wipers together broke many pieces off the passenger side and left smears of dirt and blood all over the rear window.

NOTE: I'm going back through the police logs for that date to see if anything was reported.

This is not the only cryptid account that I have received from Hamilton County, New York:

A hunter in upstate New York encounters 2 large-headed quadruped coyote-like dogs that literally transform into 8-foot-tall upright canines with green eyes.

The following account was recently forwarded to me:

I was staying with my brother and father at a cabin on a hunting retreat in the upper part of New York state near Speculator. We had gone out there to hunt deer during the 2016 black powder season.

I was up late, sharpening knives for the dressing and cooking of anything we managed to take. It was about 2 am and I was getting ready to go to sleep once I finished the last knife. I saw the security light outside flick on and got up to go look at what it was. You’re not allowed to take deer at night, but I figured there was no harm in just looking at one, seeing which way it went, so we could track it tomorrow. And if it wasn’t a deer, it would still be nice to see the local wildlife before I retired for the night.

So I look out the window, and I see these two big, coyote-looking dogs with HUGE heads outside, on all fours. I initially thought they were coywolves, a hybrid between a coyote and a large dog, which happens sometimes in this area. So I watch these things sniff around. We had grilled some hot dogs earlier. They must have come looking for the smell. I watch them for a few minutes, and then one of them does this weird, jittering motion. It sort of stretched its hind legs out one at a time, and even through the glass, I could hear a popping sound. A really horrible noise.

This thing did one leg, then the other, and then it sort of rolled its shoulders, made another popping sound, and stood up on its hind legs! We had put our bags of deer scent and stuff into the tree. Like you would keep bears out of it, tied up into the tree. It reaches up, grabs at the bag, and pulls it down.

The thing rips it open and tears through it. It finds the deer urine in there and sniffs it, then seems almost angry, and throws it into the wall of the cabin. At this point, it spots me. This thing looks at me, locks eyes, and the second one stands up on its hind legs! They look at me for a few seconds, staring me down. I literally thought I was going to die.

They seemed angry I had seen them, or upset about it. They turned and ran off, still on their hind legs.

I broke down crying, locked myself in the bathroom, and refused to leave the cabin for the rest of the trip. I stayed there and dressed and cooked the deer, I wouldn’t go outside and actually covered the window in my bedroom because I was convinced I was going to wake up to one of them staring in at me.

I estimate both creatures at about 8 to 8 and a half feet tall. I couldn’t see genitals on either of them. They had green luminous eyes and were colored like coyotes, tan with grey on the back and white or cream bellies. They had tufts on the end of the ears, like a bobcat. Long tails, like a wolf’s tail, fluffy like that" Name withheld

A group of friends drive to Mt. Pisgah, near Eugene, Oregon to hang out and swim. They are walking back to the car when they encounter a huge dog that stands upright.

I received the following account:

"This happened around the year 2000. About a year after this took place, I started dating one of these friends, and that’s when I first heard about this “dog/wolf” story. I have since asked each friend (over years and miles apart) and they all remember the same encounter.

Before my ex was even my BF, (let’s call him J), he and our other friends were about 17-18 years old.

At that age, I remember it being an adventure to find a place to smoke. “Let’s hike to ___ and puff!” (Ah good ole days, when we got away from our parents and planned a day around smoking)

It was J and his his best friend B, and their girlfriends, S and M. The four of them decided to drive to Mt. Pisgah, a beautiful wooded area outside of Eugene, Oregon. It’s more of a hill, but it’s nature in its prime for sure. I’ve been out there many times growing up, and I know exactly what trail they were on (the main one that connects the parking lot to the river). They had driven in B’s little white sedan, parked in the parking lot, and then walked to the river. On the way to the river from the lot, there is a very small bridge that crosses a small creek (relevant for later).

The group spent the day out there, swimming and puffing, puffing and swimming, just being typical Oregonian teens.

I can imagine that hunger is what drove them to go home after a few hours, as the sun began to set - either activity alone is bound to get someone hungry, let alone both.

So, they walked along the well-worn “main” dirt path to the parking lot. (This path has since been paved, according to Google Maps). It doesn’t take but 20 minutes or so for them to get back to the little footbridge by the parking lot that they had crossed when they hiked in.

When they reached this small footbridge near the parking lot, B looked out into the vast field between them and the wooded mountain, and noticed a huge dog near the tree line, about 100 yards away (they all later described it as the biggest dog they had ever seen). The dog was just sitting there, not looking scary, just looking like a humongous friendly doggy. It was starting to get dark, but from M’s and J’s descriptions, (and the drawing she did for me later in 2005), it was very shaggy and furry. I may even still have that notebook where she drew the dog thing, if I find it I’ll post it.

My friends continued to walk across this small wooden bridge, and one of the girls screamed - the big dog was now on its hind legs, standing much closer than when they had seen it just a couple of seconds earlier. It had traversed most of the large field in the seconds it took them to get across this 10-ft long bridge.

Whatever this thing was, it was fast, quiet and stealthy. My 4 friends ran to the car and they had the classic, cliche “I can’t get the key in!” because B was fumbling madly for the keys. At this point, the dog was standing (on its legs) at the very edge of the parking lot, looking at them. Still had the dog face, still had the dog body - standing up. They never saw it walking (on all 4 or just 2), it was like every time they looked up it was just standing there, closer.

As J had said, every time they looked up, it was closer but not moving.

All of them recounted how surreal it was to see a dog standing on its hind legs. I don’t know if it ran for a few ticks and then stood up again at intervals in the field, but that’s the way they describe it. Many times I asked them, are you sure it wasn’t a bear? No. It definitely was a dog standing on its hind legs. A big dog that was stalking them.

Also, this is in Lane County, Oregon in the year 2000, there are few if any bears out there. It would be odd but, then again I wasn’t there.

The kids got into the car and sped off, leaving the Pisgah dog to his own business. I’ve never had a reason to doubt any of their stories (in fact, S doesn’t like to talk about the incident at all because it’s too creepy for her to recall)." - BB

Broadcaster Dave Schrader's BIGFOOT ENCOUNTER in Rural Alabama

On the 8/1/2016 broadcast of Darkness Radio, a caller asked Dave to talk about his Bigfoot encounter, something he had alluded to in previous episodes but never gone into detail about.

“I was in Foley, Alabama. My grandparents had property out there. They had 40 acres and of the 40 acres only 7 or 8 of them were liveable. The rest was just woods and junk and bayou back there. So we used to go play all the time, fish at the pond. We would hear things walking around out in the woods all the time. You know, as little kids, it doesn't register that it's something scary or something.

I was 11 years old, and I was there fishing with my cousin and I kept hearing this crunching noise and it was getting louder and louder and my cousin Rob and I were looking at each other and he's about 2 or 3 years younger than me. We keep hearing this crunching noise and it's getting closer and closer to the back of the pond and the bushes that were all around the back of the pond, they were tall. They were 6 feet tall. And as we're sitting there watching, all of a sudden just this furry Chewbacca-looking hand just comes up over the top of the bush and pushes the bush down. And it had a kind of dark grey-black mane. I don't know how else to explain it. Kind of a darkened-colored face and it pushed down the bush and all I could see was the nose and up. First of all, I was fascinated by the Bee Gees hair style it had, a pompadour of grey. Then I looked at my cousin, then looked back at this thing and just pure terror jolted through my bones. I ran like hell.

We got up to the house half expecting to find that one of ours dads wasn't there and had snuck around in the woods to scare us but everybody we knew was in the house. We alerted them to what was going on and I don't think they believed us but they wanted to make sure there wasn't some homeless guy hanging out in their woods. They all grabbed their guns, shotguns, to go out there and go check just in case. And that was it.

That was my one and only experience seeing something that fits the Bigfoot bill. I didn't get a smell. I didn't notice any other deafening sound. Like nothing was going on, it was just the crunching of this thing getting closer and closer to the back of the pond. But I tell you, I never went wandering off into the woods again especially not alone.”

58 Years Later: THE KECKSBURG, PENNSYLVANIA UFO RECOVERY - Still No Answers

The Kecksburg, Pennsylvania UFO Recovery 58 Years Ago Today And Still No Answers - December 9, 2023

December 9, 1965. It was a date that many Pennsylvania residents will never forget. It was about 4:47 PM when witnesses were ringing the phones at police departments, radio and TV stations, and newspaper offices in the greater Pittsburgh area to report seeing a bright fiery object passing through the sky. During the late afternoon and throughout Thursday evening, that news was breaking around Pittsburgh. I was sixteen years old at the time of the occurrence, and I began to document the information as it was breaking on radio and television.

Television, radio, and newspaper reporters from many localities that evening rushed to the small rural community of Kecksburg located in Westmoreland County. They had received information that the object that had been seen in the sky around Pittsburgh had reportedly fallen into a heavily wooded area outside of that town. By the time many of the news media arrived that evening, they found the rural roads jammed with curious people who wanted to get a look at whatever it was that had reportedly fallen into the woods. They also encountered volunteer firemen, state police, and military personnel.

Surprising to many who were in the area that day was the quick arrival of the military. There is no doubt that the military was there. Area residents and other visitors who went to Kecksburg that day, as well as firemen, law enforcement officers, and numerous reporters, confirmed this to me. Several types of military vehicles were seen in the area where the object had fallen and was later reportedly recovered. Witnesses said they saw Air Force and Army personnel. Other witnesses stated that they either saw or interacted with NASA personnel.

Over the years since the incident took place, I tracked down hundreds of people who had knowledge of what had occurred. Many witnesses to that 1965 incident have now passed away. Others are indeed elderly, and many are in poor health. There are others, however, who are still alive and will never forget what they saw and experienced that day so many years ago.

In past years I filed numerous (FOIA) requests with many agencies for information about the Kecksburg incident. It was in the mid-1980s that researcher Ray Boeche obtained the Air Force Project Blue Book report on the occurrence. The location was listed as Acme, rather than Kecksburg. Years ago, I interviewed a family who had been involved in the incident. They had been visited by an Air Force officer at that time in 1965. They lived close to where the object had reportedly fallen, however, they had an Acme mailing address. I believe that is why the location is listed as Acme.

During my investigation, I learned that some local residents who saw the object fall from the sky into the nearby woods that afternoon, soon after, went down into those woods to find out what had fallen. That is when they came across that large metallic acorn-shaped object with odd symbols on its surface, partially buried in the ground. No weld marks, rivets, or seams were observed on the object. One witness who stood only a few feet away from the landed object stated that it looked like someone poured liquid metal into an acorn-shaped mold. Because of his family background, that witness was certain that the symbols on the raised-up section on the back of the object were not of Soviet origin. Late that evening, numerous witnesses observed an acorn-shaped object covered with a tarp being transported out of the area on a military flatbed tractor-trailer truck.

I later learned from independent sources that the object was transported during the early morning hours of December 10, 1965, from the Kecksburg area to Lockbourne Air Force Base near Columbus, Ohio. The flatbed tractor trailer and its cargo were backed into a hanger on the base. An armed security team guarded that hanger while that truck remained on that base for a brief time. The truck and its cargo continued onto Wright Patterson Air Force base where the object was later placed inside of an existing building. It was not Hangar 18 that we had heard about over the years.

Since the time the incident occurred, there have been numerous theories proposed as to what that object was that fell near Kecksburg 58 years ago. Was this object a very secretive and advanced man-made space device or could it have been of non-human origin? I keep an open mind to both possibilities and so did many of the witnesses that saw that object long ago.

There is one detail that is not widely known concerning the description of the object. Some witnesses had a close view of the object. They reported that there was a raised protuberance that extended out from the front section of the object.

Whatever that object was, it performed some interesting maneuvers along its path. The object was moving roughly SE from Allegheny County into Westmoreland County and over the city of Greensburg. It moved toward Route 30 east near what was then the Gee Bee department store and made a turn to the south. The object was observed from such areas as Margurite, Norvelt, and Mammoth, over the outskirts of Kecksburg, and continued to move toward the mountains of Laurelville about 3.5 miles away. The object seemed to hesitate over the mountain, then began to travel back toward the outskirts of Kecksburg, then turned again and dropped down into the woods. Area residents who saw the object fall said that it was moving quite slowly and went down as though it was making a controlled landing. There were no parachutes reported at the site during or after the landing.

For years, I had information from witnesses who told me that the next day (Friday) after the incident had taken place, a smaller group of personnel returned to the location and were observed entering the woods where the object had fallen. For example, Two boys walking in those woods the next morning were stopped by a man with an instrument, possibly a metal detector or Geiger counter, and were told that they better leave the woods since there was the chance of radiation.

Additionally, independent newspaper stories confirmed that there was another search of the area the next day where the object had fallen. They also mentioned the military being there. However, in some other Friday newspapers, the officials indicated that the search was over that nothing was found, and that the object was Likely a meteor observed in the sky.

What was the object that fell into the woods outside of Kecksburg that afternoon in 1965? What was so important about that object that armed military personnel reportedly responded so quickly to recover it?

I learned various details over the years that concerned the incident that were quite fascinating. This is an example of what I came across.

*On the day of the occurrence, more than one reporter on the scene who was taking pictures, reportedly had the film confiscated from their camera by authorities in that area.

*I was told many years ago by a witness who is now deceased, that he and another family member were transported from a location near the impact site to their home in a military jeep. While riding in the vehicle, they overheard radio transmissions that there was someone down in the woods with a camera. He said the voices sounded extremely excited and concerned until the photographer was located.

*News crews from Pittsburgh area TV stations were on the scene that evening. There were news stories about the occurrence that aired on Thursday evening and Friday. I recall watching the TV broadcast of the incident the next day that was in black and white on one of the stations. Over the years I requested the TV stations to attempt to locate the archival newsreels for that day in 1965. None of that footage has ever been found after various attempts were conducted to locate what had been broadcast and should have been in the station’s news library archives.

*Over the years, various Kecksburg fire department officials confirmed to me that the records for December of 1965, such as the incident report logs for fire vehicles were all missing. All other records were accounted for.

*Independent witnesses who were in the area near where the object fell that evening, confirmed that there were not just one, but two military flatbed tractor-trailer trucks on the scene along with other military vehicles.

*Independent witnesses reported seeing men in what they referred to as “moon suits (hazmat) around the area where the object had reportedly fallen.

On July 26, 2023, whistleblower, David Grusch, A former military intelligence officer testified before Congress under oath that he had information that the government had a secret program that involved the recovery of UFOs or UAP. I believe David Grusch is telling the truth.

It is quite likely that there was already a quick response government UFO recovery program in operation in 1965 and was involved with the Kecksburg incident. It is interesting that within the Project Blue Book report was an entry on this case that stated, “A three-man team has been dispatched to Acme, PA to investigate and pick up an object that started a fire.”

Some of the locals were certain that they began to see a small military presence around the Kecksburg area within the hour after the object had reportedly fallen. It was during the next few hours, however, that a considerable number of military vehicles and personnel would arrive in the area from various directions. Local and national newspaper stories mentioned the military activity in the Kecksburg area.

I am still hopeful that photos that were reportedly taken that evening of not only the military trucks but also of the object will still show up. I crossed paths with various individuals who told me they saw black and white photos that were taken at that time. I talked with a person whom I believe was at the scene that night who told me that he took photos of the object on the military truck. He lent the pictures to some friends and the pictures have since been lost. Some families might have such pictures in some old scrapbooks.

This picture that has been circulating on the internet IS NOT an authentic picture of the Kecksburg object with military vehicles. The photo was taken during the reenactment shoot of the incident for the Unsolved Mysteries TV program that aired in 1990. The mockup of the object was created for the program and was later given to the Keckburg Volunteer Fire Department. It is still on display on their property.

The government now has an office that is telling the public that it is taking the UFO subject seriously. Many individuals were involved in the Kecksburg incident in 1965 and are hopeful that some information will be uncovered and revealed to the public that will provide some answers as to what the object was that fell near Kecksburg 58 years ago.

Experiencer Extracts Possible INORGANIC 'IMPLANT' From Her Body (PHOTOS)

An experiencer was attempting to extract parasites from her body for a physician's examination when she found a solid object that appeared to be an inorganic implant.

I recently received the following account:

"Hello. I am grasping as straws as to where to turn. I do not claim to have encountered or even seen a UFO or UAP or whatever the proper term is these days. The edited version of my story is that in the process of trying to prove to close-minded doctors that I am suffering from parasites, I have discovered something stranger than parasites in my body.

Using a handheld microscope I often extract things from my tissue and place them in a vial (some with and some without a liquid medium like Formalin) and take pictures in an attempt to find a specimen that is undeniably a parasite.

A few days ago I extracted something that does not appear to be organic to me. In my opinion, It looks like a man-made object. That in itself was puzzling to me, but the mystery grew when I observed it changing shape, seemingly morphing from a narrow object with elliptical cutouts lit from inside to a solid cube with no way of light passing through it, to an almost see-through sheet of material!

I will attach a few of my amateur pictures. They are not the best quality, but I hope that I captured enough to represent evidence of my observation. I don’t know what I expect you to say or do. I just don’t know what to make of it or if anyone would even care to investigate its identity or would be able to provide me answers as to what the hell it is! Thank you, in advance for your time!" You Doubt BIGFOOT & DOGMAN? THEY DO EXIST!

A Bigfoot experiencer describes how his doubt about the creature and other cryptids ended the day he had a personal sighting followed by subsequent encounters.

I received the following account:

“In 2018, I did not believe in 'Bigfoot,' despite having owned hunting property in Perry County, Ohio (alleged home of a giant 'Sasquatch' known as the 'Grassman') and despite living for over 3 decades in 'Bigfoot Central' in the Pacific Northwest (not 60 miles from the site of the Patterson-Gimlin film). In 2018, however, I saw my first 'Bigfoot.' I've now seen them on six occasions.

There is no question but that THEY do exist! Scoff all you want, your doubts do not affect my experiential reality. BUT, here's the thing, in 1971, in Central Michigan, I had a rather scary, if inconclusive experience with what I suspect was (what was then called) 'The Michigan Monster,' an animal now more commonly known as the 'Dogman.' I've now come across several individuals locally, whose experiences I have every reason to credit, who claim to have run across just such a creature out here (one of whom saw it at very close range for several minutes, plenty of time to get a good look at it).

Much as I do not want to believe in any such thing, given the shock to my skepticism which 'Bigfoot' wrought, I don't feel like I can blithely deny that there may be OTHER things out there. There are certainly enough tales out here about them (independent of the witnesses whom I personally know) to raise the real possibility that there are some such creatures in these woods. Your featured encounter account reeks of truthfulness to me. This is almost exactly what one might well expect. Nothing about it is inconsistent with what we know or inconsistent with potential reality. There's no evidence of hype or BS in the tale. (NOTE: The witness was referencing my Bigfoot encounter in Sykesville, Maryland).

So, whether or not I wish to believe in these things, I have determined to behave in a fashion consistent with the possibility that these things are out there. I never go out unarmed or alone and have even gotten a bigger gun. It may all be a case of mistaken identity or self-inflicted fright, but, if it is real, well, I do not wish to be at its mercy. Not gonna happen. Wouldn't be prudent.” OD

Welcome to Phantoms & Monsters Radio. In this episode, I welcome my friend & colleague Tobias Wayland to the show. We will discuss the newly reported Chicago/Lake Michigan Mothman & winged humanoid sightings and any updates to previous reports.
Tobias Wayland is a Fortean investigator investigating the unusual for over a decade. The first several years of his investigative career were spent as a MUFON field investigator and following that he investigated independently before becoming the head writer and editor for The Singular Fortean Society. Tobias is a frequent guest on various podcasts and radio shows, has written several books and contributed articles to periodicals on the paranormal, has appeared on television and in documentaries, and is often invited to speak at paranormal conferences and events. Tobias & Emily Wayland are members of Phantoms & Monsters Fortean Research. He was featured in the series premiere of Expedition X, and the Small Town Monsters documentaries Terror in the Skies and On the Trail of the Lake Michigan Mothman for his work investigating Mothman sightings around Lake Michigan. He and his wife Emily have been involved with the Lake Michigan Mothman investigation since its advent in the spring of 2017. He published a book chronicling the experience, The Lake Michigan Mothman: High Strangeness in the Midwest. His second and third books about unusual phenomena, Strange Tales of the Impossible and The Singular Fortean Society’s Yuletide Guide to High Strangeness, continue their work in investigating a variety of seemingly impossible events.

FOLLOWED & CHASED by an Unknown Entity in Rural Louisiana

Two friends are out walking when they notice that they are being watched by an unknown being from a distance. Soon this entity is chasing them, resulting in a long and scary night!

I received the following account:

“A friend and I were followed and eventually taunted by what looked like an alien for hours one night in 2012. The things that took place that night were the scariest things I've ever seen. Not even in fiction have I heard or seen anything like it.

A short version. I was just bored one night with a friend and decided to walk home at dark from the local gas station (a little over a mile). I live in Louisiana so it's acres of woods on either side of the road. Despite trying to explain away the sound of breaking branches as if something was following us, the sound of something walking next to us lasted all the way until the first light pole near the neighborhood.

Now feeling brave with the light pole and the first house in sight, I yelled taunts at where the sound was coming from. We stared at a moving bush, and a head popped up and just stared at us. We both see it and later draw the same exact thing so we weren't imagining it. We ran until we ran out of breath and were followed by red lights. Like small red laser dots from the distance, in pairs like eyes. From the distance, anywhere we looked and they appeared anywhere we focused on for too long.

Finally, at my friend's home, all three of his dogs are hiding whimpering under his truck lying side by side. They're usually hyper as hell and we couldn't even drag them out because they would run right back under. As soon as we walk into the house and close the door, small pebbles start hitting every side of the house at once. A back window breaks from one, and there's a pair of tiny red lights in the distance everywhere you look outside. It slows down and we gain enough courage to walk outside and yell at "it." We walked down the steps and started yelling insults (we were stupid).

Suddenly, out of complete silence, behind the neighbor's house, a pair of white shiny eyes like a wolf but not attached to any form slowly approached us. It started slowly and by the 200-foot mark, it started sprinting towards us and separating into an additional two pairs of eyes as it's charging. We ran inside and locked the door behind us. Seconds later "it" threw itself at the door (or at least that's what it sounded like). We looked toward the front door which the center is stained glass and you could clearly see a silhouette of a 4 foot large headed being inches from the front door just standing there looking at us. We turn away for a second, look back and it's gone. Then the rocks start being thrown again.

While pebbles are being thrown hitting every side of the house, we look out the front window (we are standing in the center of the living room next to each other with a kitchen knife both crying at this point). Outside across the street is an abandoned house covered in moss and stuff. It's kitchen light turns on. You can see the plants and stuff inside. It's just a table in there. There was no electricity running to that house but the light was on. The light goes out. I honestly don't remember much of the rest of the night from this point.

The last I remember is we were sitting in the center of the living room both with a kitchen knife back-to-back sitting on a bed cover crying as pebbles kept hitting the sides of the house. In the morning we drove past where we saw the 'alien' pop its head out of the bush and three state police cars and a regular-looking truck were parked at the bush in the woods as if they were searching in the woods.

Looking back I wonder why the hell didn't I try to record any of this but I remember back then I just had one of those black & white text with numbers type of cell phones. God I wish I had the tech I do now, I would almost say I'd experience it again just to be able to record it. But I only say that cause I was with someone during it. I imagine if I was alone, I'd pass the hell out or something.” T
