The Top Ten Things I Learned in London and Paris

10. It’s just a ten minute walk:If you ask anyone in London directions to anywherethey’ll tell you it’s just a ten minute walk. Me: “Excuse me sir, I’d like to visit the Swiss Alps. How do I get there?” English doorman: “Oh that’s easy. Just go to the corner, turn left, walk a bit and then go right at the sign. It’s about a ten minute walk.”

9. The English are terrible at giving directions: No offense to my English friends, but some of your countrymen are completely barmy when giving direction...

Philliver’s Travels: My Trip to London and Paris in Pictures

During my overnight flight to London I fell asleep. When I awoke I found myself tied down, flat on my back, with dozens of tiny Englishmen scurrying about. Either the English are extremely small or I had become a giant overnight. At first they were fearful and in no mood to free me, but when I said I had to pee they relented. I gained their trust and they finally allowed me to roam freely. At first I won them over with my charm to the point that they even put a sign on the side of their iconi...

#MondayBlogs Suzie81Speaks

This weeks featured blog on Monday blogs (if my blog scheduling worked) is Suzie81 Speaks. Suzie is not the 81st Suzie. I believe the 81 refers to her year of birth. Lots of blogs have agendas. Some aim to educate, entertain, or promote a cause. Suzie’s blog does not of that.

Considering that Suzie has no agenda to promote or consistent theme it is amazing that she has accumulated several thousand followers in a little over a year. Maybe it’s the personal touch. I think Suzie responds to virtu...

The Top Ten Reasons I’m not Spider-Man

This list is in honor of The Amazing Spider-Man 2 which is premiering Friday. It was partially filmed in my hometown because it’s easier to shut down a couple city blocks here than in New York City. When you see some of New York City street scenes keep in mind that I may have been Spidey’s stunt double. As a kid growing up I loved Spider-Man comics because the internet hadn’t been invented yet. I wouldn’t want to be Spider-Man though and here’s why:

#MondayBlogs Steve Says…

For those of you new to me or who just haven’t read me the last few Mondays, this is my regular feature where I highlight a blog from someone else that I enjoy. Why the #MondayBlogs ? By hashtagging, when this title appears on Twitter Rachel Thompson of @BadRedHeadMedia and @MondayBlogs retweets hoping to spread the blog love far and wide every Monday.

The 51st Most Beautiful Person

People Magazine released their 50 Most Beautiful People edition this week. Spoiler Alert! I wasn’t on the list again. Hard to believe right? Trust me, I’m as outraged about it as you are.

people

Rumor has it I was 51, but that doesn’t even get you honorable mention in the magazine. Don’t get me wrong, I’m not arguing with any of their choices because I don’t know who they are. Apparently you have to buy the magazine. C’mon People, have you got some sort of vendetta against me? First I lose out on Sex...

Top Ten Thursday? Top Ten Possibly True Justin Bieber Facts

Yes, I’m a creature of habit. Because I posted a Throwback post on Tuesday I feel I have to do a Top Ten post for today because in my mind, someone out there, probably a crazy internet stalker, is actually following my blog schedule and their week is incomplete without my Top Ten list. Today’s list is inspired by my love of Chuck Norris jokes. and yesterday’s incident in which Justin literally made China mad. Someone please take that kid’s passport away.
