Rare Sand Lizard rescued in Southport’s Ocean Plaza Shop - UPDATED!

Sand lizards are a highly protected UK species. Southport’s coastal dune area is one oftheir last established strongholds.

Sadly, a great deal of their vital habitat has been lostdue to human inroads and developments. Somehow, they still do manage to survivewith difficulty in small colonies.

Some years ago, the popular Southport Cyclone was demolished. Concerns had been raised by some campaigners that sand lizards existed in the area, yet the destruction still went ahead with disbelieving a...

Liverpool: the Slave-Trading Capital of Britain

Someof my earliest memories of Liverpool were oppressive. When I was a wee nipper my mum would occasionallytake me on the train to the city.

I always felt gloomy to see some of the large derelictbuildings along the track, as we got nearer to departure.

Backthen, signs of the wartime damage left behind after devastating Luftwaffe raidswere still visible. I knew about a lot of the WW2 history even as a child. However, whenwe reached the heart of the city the terrible feelings of oppression ...

The majority of the power/mind controllers in churchesand politics (historically the bishops and barons) have been pulling the stringswith mass subconscious public compliance since time immemorial.

Your alleged ‘Salvation’, which their pious ancestors created for you via a plethora of apostolical rehashed propaganda eons ago, keeps them in a good job and in healthy profits. Therefore, they have a vested in...

June Heatwave Drives 'Uninvited' Visitor Into Pontins

Parts of the UK are officially experiencing a heatwave as temperatures continue to fluctuate around 30C.

Ainsdale Beach was no exception today, with sun lovers soaking up the June heat.

However, Ainsdale’s Pontins Holiday Camp appeared to be rather quiet this afternoon, with one ‘uninvited’ visitor seeking shelter in the camp - away from the sweltering sand dunes.

Ainsdale Goose Rescue

What started out as a brief walk in the pinewoods ended inan unexpected eco-rescue.

We stumbled across a young and clearly confused Greylag Goose on the woodland track, behind RAF Woodvale. A buzzard had also swooped inand was watching closely from a pine branch.

At first, we thought the goose was injured. However, onapproaching it the bird hissed defensively. I said to my wife Cath, “OK, let’smove away”. However, we soon discovered that we were being followed by our new-foundwaddling f...
