10 Things A Mother-In-Law Should Not Say or Do To Her Daughter-In-Law
Source: Tumblr.comMother-in-law for some, Monster-In-Law for many.
Here are my 10 things a MIL should not say and do to her DIL!
1. You don't ask her to go and see a doctor to find out if she is able to bare children in just 3 months of marriage and later when she's actually pregnant you ask her if she's sure of it.
2. You don't scream at her and ask her "Your husband has a property but what does my girls have?" Since when is your DIL responsible for what your girls don't have especially when you are alive?
3. You don't tell her to lose weight or use a whitening lotion for her skin when she's perfectly fine and your son loves her the way she is.
4. You don't condemn your husband to her (and the
whole world) then expect her to wish you on your wedding anniversary!
5. You don't call her for a meal at your home and then question her for not being there to cook the meal. She has her own kitchen and could very well have cooked it there herself.
6. You don't have her as a visitor in your house and complain about how you are made to be a maid to cook for your own children.
7. You don't brag about your delivery pain when friends and neighbours come over to visit your daughter-in-law after child birth, dismissing entirely the trauma she had just gone through.
8. You don't discuss your sex life with her, it's utterly disgusting!
9. You don't sit in her house and gossip about her husband. You deserve a slap for calling yourself his mother!
10. You don't write trash or make phone calls filled with false accusations about her to her husband and ask him to decide what he should do.
I could actually go further than 10 but I think this list is good for now, you might just collapse if you had to read more and ask yourself "Didn't Hitler die already?"

A Lasting Effect
This morning I woke up with these words ringing in my head - A person may not seem horrible all the time but their horridness can affect you a lifetime. Likewise a good person's goodness can grow on you and bring you much happiness even if you had experienced it just once.
I used to worry and ask myself if things were going well, when is it all going to crumble? Then I was told that my negative thinking is altering my universe and drawing ill onto myself, of which I decided to stop such thoughts and honour the joyfulness that came with every passing day, and since I changed my mindset, I noticed how I did draw the right energy towards me by firstly hailing it in myself.

It's not easy to keep thinking positive over someone, especially if all you have experienced is pain and suffering and the person is completely unpredictable and malignant.
I believe as much as we want to draw a positive energy towards us, the person we expect to receive this energy from should consciously make an effort to do the same which means we need to sit down and talk about the issues faced. We would need to step out of the picture and analyse what we are going through to decide what approach is best. It's not easy to continue living in a relationship that kills you emotionally especially when the stabbing doesn't even have to happen all the time.
The person causing it, may or may not do it intentionally but the pain is painful and addressing it will heal you and spare you more pain. To those who don't stop even after addressing, they simply doesn't deserve to have you. You were not born be the punching bag to their insecurities.
Of course forgiving someone's wrong doing, is the most religious thing to do of which many of us, have forgiven countless times and even forgotten right after only to be reminded again in less than the expected time.
I decided after a decade of tolerating and forgiving, that I don't need this shit anymore and if the people around me don't approve of it or think I should act otherwise can decide for themselves if they too would like to be in the list of people I want to have nothing to do with anymore, as I want to move ahead in my life and leave the pain behind and in order to do that, the people causing the pain should either stop doing so, or in my case be thrown overboard!
I'm not GOD!
He said to forgive 70 times 7, and if I had to take that Mathematically, I think I have passed my quota. My last forgiving to these persons comes with the "Go to Jail, do not pass go, do not collect 200" Monopoly card. That's the effect of what they've done!
I may never be completely healed from the scars they've put on me, but I should pat myself on my back and say, "Well done" for putting a FULLSTOP to more wounds and enjoy the presence of the people who are sailing in the same direction for happiness.
All those painful statements, gossips, ill treatments, lies and manipulation can finally be put to an end by ending your ties with such people, and that lasting effect should work as a reminder not to do the same to others.

Post GE Lesson: Saying NO to Racism
What’s with all the RUCKUS and CHILDISH behaviour? You of all people should know what DEMOCRACY means. Aren’t the RAKYAT allowed to vote for whom they want? Oh ya kan, forgot that 505 was just an international DRAMA MINGGU INI (weekly soap opera) or better yet a charade played by SPR! Now it’s time to put on a show to tell the world how ungrateful the citizens are especially the Chinese instead of admitting and agreeing to doing better?
Such a typical NARCISSISTIC trait isn’t it?
BN has won, but because they lost the popular votes, they are taking the SORE LOSER role now and making it into a racist issue. All this sure looks like an admission to their victory not being victorious isn’t it? Told you the face on 605 said it all! If only those phantom voters were allowed to vote, someone would probably be the happiest PM right now and might even say his 1Malaysia policy is by far the best and act like a SORE WINNER to countries that are fighting to keep up with racial unity, don’t you think? That would be another CHARADE of his but in actual fact we are personally working very hard in keeping the UNITY without his help.
Well now its about the race differences in the parliament? REALLY? What the hell man! Do Indians and Chinese complain when we have to be 1 in a class of 44 Malay students in a multiracial county? Or be the 1 in a 75 Malay staffed department and have to work round the clock when it’s a muslim festival or even so, when a muslim staff needs to be at work during their festival because they have no help from their non-muslim friends since there aren’t any employed as staff in a government department that works 24-7 such as in our hospitals? That’s a bummer you know! Personally I have seen how that sucked for both the Malays and the non Malays. The parliament doesn’t go on call right? Or does it? Why bicker about the racial situation in your parliament as imbalanced? If you truly are the Father of 1Malaysia, you shouldn’t even bring up race as an issue unless your parliament is filled with just one race! PAS, DAP and PAKATAN are Malaysians too. Don’t look at your rivals as imbecile citizens lar. A well educated and ethical person will always accept a good challenge and stand his grounds without such idiotic bitching. Be a MAN, man!
On another note don’t try to elude the fraud by bringing all this up to fill the newspapers with. The educated and rational thinkers in Malaysia know how horridly Journalism is in the main stream. I feel this is just tactics to divert attention to things that are even more senseless, as always, has been a trademark of our leaders. Yes hundreds of JUMBO Jets didn’t land with Banglas in them, but thousands have already landed since the last elections. And to why people are attacking UTUSAN and not the Chinese newspapers, well most of us know who owns UTUSAN and most of us read BM better than Mandarin. What’s the point of placing Mandarin writing on the screens and asking "why you say like that ha?” when we could just ask you why you never stopped your party funded papers from taking up a tone like that because you are the one who stood strongly on 1Malaysia or have you forgotten that?
All this sweeping statements are being thrown just to stop people from thinking about 505. Really it is. Playing a psychological route to get out of the hot pot is going to make them fall into the fire.
Stop all the plays and get on with what’s relevant la and at the same time, on a neutral ground, I hope BERSIH gets to find out who is the culprit to all this fraud and put an end to the mess SPR has made with every evidence of blackout and Magic shows Malaysia has witnessed at our GE13. Malaysians deserve the answers. And remember, Malaysian, we are UNITED. Don’t be their puppet and lose focus on what is the actual issue at hand - ANSWERS about the cleanliness of SPR! It doesn’t matter who we have voted for, just don’t allow their illogical and racist claims destroy the unity that we have always been fostered. Don’t let them talk on behave of those who didn’t vote for them. Don’t go around asking your non Malay friends to balik kampung because their kampung is the same as yours.
Politics is never made to keep people together which is why good parents don’t play politics with their kids because politics always ends up favouring one person at the expense of another. If you look closely at our culture, what’s truly keeping us together are the religious teachings we are given at our places of worship and teachings of tolerance our parents and grandparents thought us after all the pain and bloodshed they have seen and been through. Don’t allow all that to go to vain by condoning comments by leaders who care not (as seen obviously) about true racial respect.
So redefine what our politics should be Malaysians - Make it the system that ends CORRUPTION and FOSTERS RESPECT, UNITY AND STABILITY at ALL TIME and at the EXPENSE OF NONE! We have a deep history to remember never to be repeated but at the same time, don’t be oblivious to why it even happened in the past and work into analysing the root cause.
Please don’t take the words of our politicians LITERALLY!They have no rights to assuming why voters did not vote them because they never really cared to ask or listen. It’s a lop sided argument you know! Unfortunately we cannot stop people from saying what they want to say, but we can stop accepting it as TRUTH.
Instead of throwing insulting racial remarks, how about we turn around and ask our neighbours how they feel and what can be done to make Malaysia better. No one is trying to ruin anyone’s birth right so lets not allow the government to feed such ill knowledge and ruin our peace as citizens of this country! Remember when we die there’s only one heaven and one hell. We will still see each other there which ever side we land, so let’s make this life worth while and stop racism!

Such narcissism! (and your supporters are calling us SORE LOSERS? Common!!

Stop Provoking!
Source: MalaysiakiniIf only the government listened to the RAKYAT they will know that many Chinese are not against BN on the whole but against MCA. I spoke to a few locals here and most of them say, “what’s the point of voting for a BN-MCA Candidate who never did anything in our area and let him continue for another term to do nothing?” and the same time many have rejected a Pakatan leader here and voted for a BN-MIC candidate on the grounds that the former didn’t show his face after he got his place in the Parliament. It is unfortunate for BN to have lost their votes like that. So what should be done is to work towards getting candidates that are fit for the job not Candidates to fill the slot. Isn’t it?
Newspapers must know that people react literally to what you write, unless this is their intentional action, don’t taint the value of Journalism by unethically throwing headlines that can cause chaos for no reason. Instead of provoking racial tensions in the mainstream media, how about diplomatically working on solving the problem?
BN, you won the next term right? Suggest you get started with your work, and to the question "What more the Chinese wants?" How about asking them and listening for a change? I asked and listened and I think it’s pretty sensible why they voted otherwise.

Don’t Be A Corrupted Crusader
Anyone with a deep respect for MORAL VALUES will own a RIGHT MIND to have all these fraudulence in GE13 be questioned with an expectation of a VALID ANSWER! Those who do this aren’t SORE LOSERS - It’s called COMMON SENSE!
Source: Yahoo! Malaysia
I’m not going to bother asking the question of his common sense again. I’ve concluded that some, in fact many, don’t have the gift of COMMON SENSE!
How does one, choose to be oblivious to what is happening around them? Yesterday I read an FB post by an apparently well known philanthropist from Johor who stated how we need to move on with our lives as there are more important things to do than to be bothered by the politics that has already been mandated.
REALLY?
I didn’t know being a citizen of a country meant you should be oblivious to what’s happening in your own land, only enjoy the goodness of it and shut your eyes, mouth and ears to the bad and wrong! I believe every Malaysian went back to work, school and their respective obligations on the 6th of May, but why should they forget and let to rest what had taken place on the 5th? Was she suggesting us to ignore the political fraudulence of the GE13 and to look at our leaders as a separate entity? Yes, life goes on despite the election results but we cannot ignore what’s happening in our backyard can we? It’s easy for many to say not to be bitter or bothered by what happened on the 5th of May, but to many others it matters. I believe a little multi-tasking is required if you asked me. You do what you do to live and see others live and at the same time you watch your lawn which in this case is your GOVERNMENT! It’s not a SEPARATE ENTITY!
You don’t tell those who care to stop caring. You don’t tell those who spent their hours at the polling queue, and those who spent thousands on flight tickets and hours on the road driving back to their hometowns to go on with their lives and let this be! Malaysia didn’t cripple by being bothered over the cheating of the last elections, came Monday. What’s crippled is the way many think this is not important and to see it as over and done with!
You are what you eat they say, then could I say politically, you are what you vote?
Ideologies may be different amongst each and every Malaysian, and our fights may vary a lot too. For me and many of the mother I know, care greatly about our education system and how the current standards are at an insulting state that those with money can always resort to Private or International School but why should we be resorting to something that will cost our pockets which subsequently goes to the government as education tax? The government takes our money and gives dirt back to the RAKYAT? Are we supposed to be GRATEFUL FOR THIS and stay silent when we see corrupted leaders get back into power? There are so many other matters that cause a pressing concern which I don’t think I need to list out here as most Malaysians already know what they are.
A simple analogy will be this la! If your house got robbed, will you tell yourself “leave it be, what’s done is done," and go off to work not thinking about what you should do to the perpetrator or ways to solve the issue that caused the crime? No right?! You go to the polis and file a report, and wait for the authorities to call you back to give you and update on the case and while that happens you have to look into repairing the damages caused by the robber. Isn’t all this work? You can’t ignore it can you? What more when it’s a NATIONAL ROBERY?
People will post about what they saw personally and what others have seen over the social media, talk about it at the pantry of their office or while taking an evening walk with their neighbours. People will not stop till answers are given. Whether you voted for PKR or BN, a fraud is a fraud and if you valued MORALITY and have a little bit of dignity, you will not stay silent. No I don’t mean you should go rioting but a mature rational minded human will expect answers to what they are seeing from others or personally and all this answers must come or else we are nothing but puppets in this land. We should not allow EC to insult us this way. Let’s get the truth out. Let’s find out who is behind all this and put an end to it!
If you think you can’t do anything to change what has happened, think again! You could always go light the candle at your altar, or incense or open your prayer mats and PRAY! Pray that God gives courage and wisdom to the leaders who are fighting for the answers. PRAY that we are not robbed off our rights and given away on a silver platter to illegal immigrants. PRAY that our children will have a hopeful future by firstly having HOPEFUL LEADERS and if you think you don’t or can't do this, then you are nothing but a CORRUPTED CRUSADER yourself because this sort of ignorance is not bliss.

A Victory That Isn’t So Victorious?
The ruling government of Malaysia has won another term - So Congratulations Barisan Nasional!
NST front page (6thMay2013)As much as I wished it wasn’t, I’m glad that we, the people of CHANGE are getting there and are on the right track as statistically the opposition party in Malaysia is getting stronger. Looking at the turn out of yesterday’s GE13, 13.26 million registered voters came out to vote which is the highest in the history of all Malaysian General Elections (GE). This to me was a sign of people seeking for justice and truth. I stood in line for 2hours yesterday to cast my vote as compared to the last GE where I went in and out in less than 15minutes at the same polling centre. The atmosphere was great, people were energised to see a change take place and most of all, everyone elected themselves as watch dogs to the rumours and stories of dirty politics that was anticipated to happen.
As much as all that info above is already know by most of you, what I want to highlight here is what I noticed in the faces of the winners - Najib and his fellow ministers, at their victory speech event at PWTC early this morning. I know a sleepy face from a freaked out one and theirs were definitely the later. It all seems like a victory that wasn’t so victorious. Could it be because they stood the highest chance of a loss to PKR in 4 states but miraculously won through a recount that happened after a black out? Or was it because they won with much evidence of dirty politics in the hands of most of their Rakyat which is going viral on every social media platform (and I believe will do so for the next couple of weeks)?
Extracted from Kosmo!Kosmo papers and many others calling this GE13 as a 'Chinese Tsunami’ which evidently still made BN in power, then quoting Datuk Seri Mohd. Ali Rustam (The Chief Minister of Melaka who lost his Parliamentary seat at Bukit Katil) who said he was disappointed that this elections weren’t in the best favour of BN and that all this proves that the Chinese are ungrateful towards all that the government has done for them; is by far the lamest statements anyone can make. Then again, I stand corrected, the last few weeks Malaysia has seen more than enough stupid lame comments flowing out of the mouth of our political leaders who are once again elected to run this country of ours.
Now BN is in worry about racial polarisation? He calls for reconciliation? Najib claims much work needs to be done to reduce this or else Malaysia will not continue to enjoy the peace and stability it is enjoying now.
Who’s to be blamed??
We know it’s part of his 1Malaysia plan to see the racial polarisation diminish but hasn’t he heard about LEADING THROUGH EXAMPLE?
There is no point in blabbering 1Malaysia when you, Najib, as the head of your administration failed to punish your ministers for their racists and pro-polarisation talks.
There is no point in your ministers asking us to spend BBR1M WISELY while your wife is caught shopping like a MAD CAT on foreign streets, and seeing your ministers drive cars and live in mansions that contradicts their pay cheques!
A simple request we parents are asking for - MAKE MATH AND SCIENCE IN ENGLISH AGAIN (PPSMI)! Have you even cared to justify why you had it changed in 2011 when it was supposed to be only in 2012? Or did I miss that news? You treated us parents like mere dogs when you threw such disrespectful decisions upon us and take no consideration to give us what we the RAKYAT want but you want our VOTES so that you can have your next 5 years pay cheques to be secured? At that point you didn’t work as our SERVANTS but as LORDS! which you will still continue to do because Malaysians have elected you to continue your LORD LEGACY or was it the Indons and Banglas who stole the elections from us through your gold plated election commission?
Why are the CHINESE not in favour of you? Why should they? Have you given them a reason to want you in power? What was the reason for all those students whom you failed to give a place in the UNIVERSITIES for the COURSES THE APPLIED FOR deemed worthy to their EXAMINATION RESULTS? Don’t ask me why Indians voted for you. I hope its not because you gave them a bag of rice and money that made them think you’re the rightful THALEVAR, cause MIC sure as hell isn't doing anything for the Indians especially if they are Christian Indians.
Are all these questions and many more against your BUMIPUTERA / Malay right? I don’t think so NAJIB! These questions are questions rightful to be asked because we are in your own context 1MALAYSIA!
So back to the question of who to be blamed, I believe it’s clear that the ones that are to be blamed for your aspirations not being achieved is YOU and your pretentious ministers who failed to uphold your own 1Malaysia policy and for God’s sake please stop acting so surprised!
It’s no HAKUNA MATATA for BN, I must say and I sure would like to see Najib and his ministers taking the public transport to work more often or all of them should be nominated for BEST ACTOR Award in the next OSCARS!
BN may have won the elections, but too much of their dirty tricks are out of the hat and caught by the Rakyat. Either they act accordingly to their manifestos or come up with dirtier tricks for GE14 if they want to still have more terms. You just got lucky this time and you know you really didn’t win - your face this morning said it all!!

GE13: Good Vs Evil
In just a few hours, many Malaysians look forward to see a historical change unfold before them. Will clean and fair elections be seen this time around? Or is the devil going to win over good again?

Merry Christmas Mr. Lawrence by Ryuichi Sakamoto
The first time I heard this piece was back in 2008 (played then by another guy on youtube) and I remember how the music lifted my subconscious mind to a place no words could describe then as it still does now. It’s soulful and mesmerising. It makes you feel entirely consumed by the heavenly gift of music and the way Ryuichi Sakamoto plays it, is as if he stood at the gates of heaven playing it. Such poise and elegance. Honestly, I just can’t get enough of this song!
This to me is PERFECTION!
