A Little Bit of Slow in City Centre
This little guy, creeping through Kasugai Garden, sent a very powerful message to me and Thing 2, during a visit earlier this week: Slow down. And pay attention to the journey.

Coffee and Books
It was a rare and amazing morning. The kind that is so precious largely because it is so scarce. The kids are currently in an art camp, at the Kelowna Art Gallery and I have every morning this week .Entirely. To. My. Self.

Sassy Sask Follow-up
So I just know you’ve been waiting with bated breath to learn what I did with those Saskatoon berries I got last week.

What He Wore Wednesday
Funny thing about being a mother: It seems I put more effort into dressing my kids most days than myself. And I have way more fun shopping for them than for me, a) because they’re so much cuter and b) you can buy so much more for the price of one adult article of clothing.

A Turn Round the Garden
I can’t remember if I’ve complained to you before about the size of our back yard. If not, it was only a matter of time, rest assured. It’s pretty much non-existent. It takes about three steps to run across – six, if your legs are small, but that’s not nearly enough space to let out as much energy as my Thing 1 and Thing 2 have.
