Foreign Book Rights: Multiple Sales of Your Manuscript

.

Europe

.

Foreign Rights as well as translations into other languages can be a great way to leverage the value of your manuscript – but don’t expect big numbers right away. Revenue will be an advance and approximately 6 – 10% royalty of the retail price, minus percentage for the agent. It’s also a long-term project as it takes around 18 months until the book is translated and finally available online and in bookstores.

Foreign rights belong to your book’s subsidiary rights.  Like other sub-rights, such as audio, movies, book clubs, paperback reprints, electronic rights, foreign rights can be sold and separated from your book’s primary rights – which you totally own anyway as an independent author-publisher.

.

Before you sign a contract: Always first contact your national writers’ association for further information and get legal advice from a lawyer who is specialized in copyright. This could save you several thousand dollars – if not more.

.

Let’s Start With the Revenue You Can Get from Your Book’s Retail Price:

Earning possibilities for your book.

If you sell your book on your own website ca. 90 – 95%
Selling through Amazon, B&N, Kobo, Apple or other online retailers: up to 70%
Selling your manuscripts to a trade publisher, earns a (small) advance and ca. 8 – 10% royalties – but this will be subtracted from the advance and only if you “earn out” your advance, which means the book is really selling well, you receive royalties.

For most authors the advance is all they really earn.

.

If You Want to Let Your Book Translate in World Languages

You can certainly just translate your book and sell it through online retailers worldwide. Most spoken languages beside English (albeit not necessarily e-book readers) are Mandarin, Spanish, Hindi, Arabic, German, Russian, Russian, Portuguese, Bengali, Japanese according to Wikipedia.

.

Start With Maximizing Your Foreign Presence – For FREE

To maximize your presence in overseas Amazon Kindle stores, just set up an Author Central account in each of those country-specific sites where your book is available.  As Amazon divided the world in single countries, announce your Countdown Deals, new book launches or Free Kindle KDP Days in several languages: Order at http://www.Fiverr.com a short translation of 10 tweets in Spanish, French, German etc. for $5 / 200 words. The countries with the most usage of eReaders, according due to a survey of Bookboon are USA, UK, Netherlands, Belgium, France, Germany, Austria, Switzerland, Denmark etc.

.

A good idea would also be to join ALLI

New rights services are growing up online to help authors meet rights buyers directly without having to travel to a book fair and using technology to extend reach. ALLi now has an arrangement with one of these, Pubmatch. Members have access to Putmatch’s premium service through ALLI (usually $79.99) at the deeply discounted rate of $9.99.  Pubmatch will facilitate communication, data warehousing and the simplification of rights marketing for publishers, agents, authors and others, making it the go-to place for the international publishing community to find new titles and new talent.

.

International Book Fairs

Do not just turn up at an international book fair, hoping to sell your book. Meetings are arranged well in advance (4-6 months) with acquisitions editors at international publishing houses, to whom new projects are pitched, and new potential publisher customers can be discovered.

.

Top Publisher for French Foreign Rights

If you want to talk about foreign rights with a French publisher one of the biggest in the world, Hachette who are also partnering with Phoenix Publishing & Media Group in China and holds a 25% share of Atticus in Russia.

.

Top Publisher for Spanish Foreign Rights – Good for U.S.A. too!

Planeta leads the world’s Spanish-language publishing markets in Spain and Latin America. The company has further strongholds in Portugal and France, where it owns Editis, the country’s second-largest group. Grupo Planeta is present in 25 countries, with more than 100 imprints and a catalogue of 15,000 titles.

.

Major agencies, specialized in Foreign Rights:

http://knightagency.net/

http://nelsonagency.com/foreign-rights/

.

Choose your foreign rights agent carefully!

Most agents charge 20% (or sometimes even 25%) on foreign sales. This 20% rate is justified because normally two agents are involved (the second one being in the foreign country), and they end up splitting the commission. If you are not represented already, why not try to find agents or even publishers yourself in other countries, especially if you speak more than one language?

.

There are things to watch when negotiating foreign rights deals – hopefully an agent will keep an eye on these, but it’s worth knowing about it:

Term of the deal:  Five years is most common, anything longer then you should be expecting a premium from the publisher.
Country / Territory for the contract: You might sign away Portuguese language rights without realizing that it will include publication in Brazil (and Mozambique, Angola, Macau, Cape Verde etc).  Also, giving worldwide Spanish language rights could cause friction with any United States publishing deal, as there is a large Spanish reading audience in the US.
Tax situation in your and the potential publishers country: While there are now many treaties which allow for uninhibited flow of money between countries, you could lose some of your advance to a foreign government’s tax.

.

Before signing a contract with an agent or a publisher, how can an author tell if the company is good with foreign rights? Ask about their previous sales!  Contact authors who work with that publisher or agent and ask them about their experience. It’s also possible to find out the name of foreign publishers and go to their web sites and see what books they have recently published.

Find out what authors the agency represents overseas, then ask those authors about their own experiences. Again, foreign rights are only a portion of an author’s income, so that’s something to bear in mind. Check your agreement with a translations rights agent carefully.  Never, ever! give world rights away as standard, and you should also insist in a large upfront payment.

Publishing News from All Over the World

.

Flying

.

The Guardian reported:

The University of Central Lancashire has announced the launch of what it describes as the world’s first degree in self-publishing.

The MA will begin in September, and course leader Debbie Williams believes it will help “legitimize” self-publishing. “Things have definitely changed. In the last two years, self-publishing has stopped being a dirty word, and is a legitimate option for authors,” she said. “Even the biggest authors are looking at it now.”

===

Gook eReader reported:

The London-based Alliance of Independent Authors announced today that it has partnered with Kobo to release a guide to its newest author campaign, the Opening Up to Indie Authors guide. ALLi will use Kobo’s extensive global retail reach to make the guidebook available to its 190 international marketplaces.

Unlike initiatives that woke consumers up to the great titles being published by independent authors, this campaign is aimed at the local booksellers in hopes that they will finally see the benefits to taking risks on self-published books.

===

Publishers Weekly reported:

The London Book Fair has announced the agenda for its Publishing for Digital Minds Conference, in alliance with the Publishers Association, and sponsored by the Copyright Clearance Center. The sixth edition of the conference will take place April 7, just before the opening of the fair.

Among the speakers confirmed for the 2014 edition are Dominique Raccah, CEO of Sourcebooks, who will appear in a session for industry thought leaders. Bill Thompson, the veteran technology journalist and head of partnership development at the BBC Archive will deliver a keynote speech, and the BBC Director of Children’s, Joe Godwin will participate in a discussion on targeting child and YA audiences online. Hugh Howey will talk about his experience of being a simultaneously conventionally published and self-published author.

Entrepreneurs from publishing start-ups will also be represented at the conference. Open Road Media’s Rachel Chou will explore the content marketing company’s experience of promoting e-books.

Read more about the London Book Fair’s program.

Digital World reports:

The Competition Bureau of Canada, an independent law enforcement agency, announced that it has reached an agreement with four major trade book publishers that limits their use of agency ebook pricing in Canada.

Following an 18-month investigation into the ebook industry in Canada, the Competition Bureau concluded that Hachette, HarperCollins, Macmillan, and Simon & Schuster have engaged in conduct that resulted in reduced competition for ebooks in Canada, in contravention of the country’s Competition Act. The four publishers have signed a consent agreement to remove or amend clauses in their distribution agreements with individual ebook retailers that the bureau believes restrict retail price competition. How to Get an Additional FREE Website

.

… and use the URL as email signature, which contains all your Social Media links, your website or blog address and works even well as a short author bio.

The two founders Ryan Freltas and Tony Conrad and their small team created an awesome service with their free URL and website.

.

When I discovered About.Me, I admired their sites’ clean design, was curious and immediately created a website, which was the easiest thing I have ever done on the web. Sheer fun!  I am amazed, thinking about how much money I paid once for software that was so complicated to use, that I gave up to build a single page.  And these folks at About.Me created such an easy program!

.

OK, this will not replace your author website or blog, but it is a great place to send people to learn more about you as an author, find all your links to Social Media sites and your web presence and can follow you on all your sites with one click. In the future you don’t need to have a long link list for your readers: You give them one single link as email signature.  And last but not least: it is a Social Media site in itself.  You can connect with lots of people on About.Me.

.

As more potential readers find you and your book’s cover on the Internet as better, and as higher your ranking on search engines!

Benefits of Using Bit.ly for Social Media

Bitly-Screenshot

.

You might know Bit.ly as a tool to shorten lengthy URL’s, such as this posts’ web address from http://savvybookwriters.wordpress.com/2014/02/06/benefits-of-using-bit-ly-for-social-media/  to http://bit.ly/NbQgkw

When someone clicks on the Bit.ly shortened version, they are then redirected to the original long URL.  The good news: when search engines find links to your short URL’s, they will credit those links to the long URL – a great SEO benefit for your web page.  But that’s not all:  Bit.ly provides valuable statistics for each of your shortened URL’s in tweets and other Social Media posts.

.

More Than URL Shorts

Useful statistics (see the screenshot above) – here are examples:

Number of times your shortened URL was clicked on
Number of times other Bit.ly shortened versions of the same page were clicked on
Referring sites / applications from which your shortened URL was clicked
Country of the users who are clicking on your shortened URL

.

Learn From Your Stats

This way you know how successful your tweet or post is, which site brings you the most visitors and from which country they came from.  For example, if you get most referrals from Twitter, just because you tweet the most links there, and you have the most followers on Twitter, you might decide to post a bit more on Google+ and invite more people into your circles on Google+ or you might improve the number of followers on Facebook or LinkedIn.

.

Tweet and Post Via Bit.ly

A marvelous reason to use Bit.ly is for me the fact, that I can post to several Twitter and Facebook accounts with ONE click.  For example: I just wrote a blog post with an endless long URL, which I then copy / paste into the small window on top of the Bit.ly site.  Immediately an almost perfect tweet is created in front of my eyes and I can send this tweet / post - to all the previously set-up Social Media accounts – with ONE single click!

.

Sure, links can be shortened directly by Twitter, and there are other websites that shorten links, such as http://Hootsuite.com, http://Ow.ly or http://tiny.cc.  But none of them offers Bit.ly’s useful advantages.

Marci Fair, Author of Parenting Guide TILT

.

Marci-Fair

.

Today’s author we are interviewing, is Marci Fair, a career women and mother of four children. Marci Fair shares her decades of insight in an enlightening way that weaves in quotes from her children along with 100+ practical, guilt-free parenting tips for the challenges working mothers face. Marci shows how mothers can live imperfectly on purpose. She inspires them to determine what really matters the most for themselves and their families, and then to focus on what lasts beyond childhood.

.

Marci, how would you describe your book to someone who has not yet read it?

TILT was written out of the difficult struggles and unexpected answers that I have found on my journey through the TILT of life, work, and motherhood. The wisdom of over 80 other working mothers in my book also demonstrates how moms can grow through their journeys to find happiness and success along the way. Balance is impossible; I teach how to TILT instead.

.

Is there a message in your book that you want your readers to grasp?

There are many significant messages in TILT, but if I had to pick the most important, it would be to encourage mothers to continue to dream and set goals for their lives. I believe that by continuing to pursue our dreams, as we help their children reach for theirs, sets a very important parenting leadership example. Through TILT, I share how to choose, in the nucleus of our families, to set the example by shining our own light, so we can love, guide, and empower those little lights we brought into this world.

.

What inspired you to start writing?

As a working mom of four children, I have lived the juggles, the struggles and the heartache of guilt in trying to pursue professional accomplishments, as well as raise our children well.  Over time I found solutions that have helped our children find their own success and have brought happiness to myself. I shared them with women around me, who found them to be unique, easy to do and satisfying for themselves. As I walked my own motherhood journey, I realized that I needed to share the humor, the insight and ultimately the love and strength that a thoughtful motherhood can bring.

.

How did you get the idea for this book?

Unknowingly at the time, I actually started writing TILT in July of 1996 – the first time I wrote down a quote from our oldest child. He was three at the time, and he made a funny kid statement that I wanted to remember. If I did not write them down immediately, (which is still true today) I would forget them.

That began the chronicling of the funny and heartfelt moments of my motherhood journey. Eventually I began to realize that our little ones had some serious wisdom to share; their musings could actually become the heartfelt answers to some of my soul-searching questions. Their quotes are actually the basis that TILT was built on.

There are over 70 of their quotes woven throughout the book, to help relay the messages of an enriching motherhood. I have learned that with careful insight, our biggest challenges can often become our greatest learning opportunities.

.

Does your book have any underlying theme, message, or moral?

The message of TILT is to encourage mothers to continue to dream and set goals for their lives. I believe that by continuing to pursue our dreams, as we help their children reach for theirs, sets a very important parenting leadership example.

We teach our children that just as we are here to help them find the path to fulfill their own missions and life purposes, we need to fulfill ours as well.

.

Info-Graphic

.

Marci, please give us an excerpted quote from your favorite review of this book:

Finally a book for professional women who have a heart for mothering. Marci doesn’t write to convince us we’ve made the right decision.  She writes to help us find peace on the path we’ve chosen, recognizing “balance” is a myth.  Her only agenda is to help us further our professional goals while being better mothers, with specific examples and chapter checklists that give us concrete steps to find the perfect “TILT” for today andtomorrow.”

Bonnie M. Rich

Assistant Director, Georgia State University College of Law Tax Clinic

.

If Oprah invited you onto her show to talk about your book, what would the theme of the show be?

Working Moms Do Not Have To Be Guilty-Moms – Learn How To TILT Instead”  or

How to live a TILT-ed life with success for you and your children!

.

Thinking way back to the beginning, what’s the most important thing you have learned as a writer from then to now?

Be brave. Follow your heart. Ask a lot of questions of people who are smarter than you. Don’t just dream about it – take action. Nothing will happen unless you take (the right) action.

.

Considering a book from the first word you write to the moment you see it on a bookstore shelf, what’s your favorite part of the process? What’s your least favorite?

My least favorite parts about writing the book are the deep edits and total reconstruction during that process. It is hard to re-write and make everything flow well together when it has been moved around so much.

I did enjoy creating all the different “parts” of TILT. I worked very hard to make it interesting for the reader, so I have

Mom Quizzes at the beginning of every chapter
Graphics throughout the book to give a visual explanation of an important point
Our children’s quotes woven throughout where they support the material
Wonderful wisdom from over 80 other women who wanted to help mothers
Checklists at the end of every chapter for specific, real life ideas that women

can use today if they need more of the solution in their lives.

Ultimately my favorite part of the book process was holding the first copy of it in my hands!

.

What scene or bit of dialogue in the book are you most proud of, and why?

The opening piece, “Why You – and I – Need to Read This Book” is pretty powerful and designed to speak to the heart of my reader. I want her to know that we are on the same page, with the humor and the challenges, and that TILT will give her real solutions.

The other piece “Closing Thoughts” was also written with great passion to help my reader. It comes straight from my core, to support them in believing that “our purpose in in our journey,” so make your journey count.

.

If you had to do it all over again, would you change anything about your book?

I am thankful to tell you that no – I would not change a thing. Even though it has been edited for over three years by many people, I am sure it could still be improved upon and written better here and there. But I have poured my heart and soul into the messages TILT shares, and I hope that the reader sees my desire for them to live a thoughtful, fulfilling life.

.

How did you get published? Please share your own personal journey.

I researched. Then I researched. Then I researched some more. Ultimately, a friend on twitter recommended CreateSpace for Print-on-Demand, and they have been wonderful to work with.

.

TILT

TILT by Marci Fair

What general advice do you have for other writers?

Do not give up on your dream!!!  It will be hard, it will be challenging, but if you believe that your message should be shared, this is the best time in the publishing world for you to have the opportunity to share it.

.

What is the best part of being a writer?

The best part of being a writer is knowing that my book will one of a few things that will live beyond me.   I am very hopeful that I will accomplish my goal with it – to help 10,000 moms and raise $10,000 for our children’s charity: Kares 4 Kids  www.kares4kids.com.

Once TILT has done that, I will know that I have really touched the lives of 10,000 women for the better and also helped thousands of children through Kares 4 Kids. Most importantly, I did it while honoring the family that I love and adore.

.

What’s the most challenging part of being a writer for you?

The most challenging part about being a writer is the editing process, to be sure that I have caught my grammar, punctuation, and flow mistakes. Beyond creating the book, the next most challenging part is figuring out the best methods to launch it and share it with the world.

.

Where’s the one place in the world you’d like to visit?  Italy.

What is your favorite book?

I am an avid reader, so it is difficult to say that I only have one favorite book. I love John Maxwell’s books for the excellent leadership and life wisdom. I love Andy Andrew’s books “The Noticer & The Noticer Returns” for their soul-searching wisdom. I love Dan Zadra’s “5” for it’s ability to help you define where you will be in your life in 5 years. I love Dave Ramsey’s books for their financial intelligence, and I love Gary Keller and Jay Papasan’s book “The One Thing” for its amazing ability to help you simply “line up the domino’s” in your life to achieve uncommon success. There are more….

.

How would a close friend describe you?

A close friend would describe me as a mom who intensely loves her family, as a wife who is very thankful to live her life with her soul mate, as a big picture thinker who purposefully, if imperfectly, thoroughly lives each of the 100 years she will hopefully be blessed with.

.

.

What is the ONE thing that brought you more readers?

The one thing that I have done that has brought me more readers has been to host workshops in my local marketplace on my subject matter – helping working moms.

What’s one thing that your readers would be surprised to know about

That I secretly wish I had a whole weekend to sit on the sofa and veg out.  Well, maybe for half a day.  Well, I could get “antsy” after a couple of hours. Anyway, it really sounds wonderful.

So You Want to Self-Publish?

6 Questions to Ask Yourself First

.

file3611235565810 .

Julie Israel asks writers: You want total control? You want freedom? You want to be 100% in charge of your own destiny? Then go for it. You might end up finding that it’s the most fulfilling thing you have ever done – or you might end up with fifty one-star reviews and a permanent hangover.  Despite the fact that every person and their dog thinks that they can write a book, living the life of a writer is not for the faint of heart.  And whether you choose to publish through a traditional route or independently, the road to success is not an easy one.  Like I said, not for the faint of heart.”

Read Julie Israel’s blog  ”6 Questions You Should Ask Yourself First“, such as:  Are you chasing someone else’s dream?   What are your intentions?  Do you have the stamina?  The money?  The talent and the drive to write book after book and publish them?

Planning to Exhibit at a Book Fair? 15 Tips!

.

file9361257057150.

.

Large book fairs in the U.S. and worldwide are geared toward booksellers and librarians. These shows offer big trade publishers, as well as smaller ones and author-publishers a chance to promote their books to bookstore buyers and librarians. See how authors on a budget can participate at small regional or national and even on a major publishing industry trade shows.

.

Major International Book Shows

Frankfurt Book Fair, London Book Fair, Bologna, Dubai and Leipzig Book Fair, not to forget the book show in Edinburgh, focus mainly on international book sales and the sale of foreign and translation rights of books. Non-fiction books might often have a higher chance of success at these fairs.

National or state-wide book fairs, such as the BEA in New York City, or the Texas Library Show  are attended by both, librarians and bookstore owners.

.

How to Learn About Book Shows

First of all, find as much information about these shows as possible on their websites. Study their list of exhibitors and the genres of books displayed. Learn which audience is usually attending these shows. Check out the website of the American Library Association ALA where the library conferences are taking place throughout the year. Ideally attend book fairs first as a visitor and talk to as many people as you can – visitors and exhibitors alike, before you decide to rent a booth. It will be a great learning experience. Notice what other presenters are doing. Bring a notepad and paper, taking notes on what you appreciated in certain booths and what you thought other booths could have done better.

.

How to Save Expenses

A great way to share expenses is to get together with other independent publisher/authors you know, and rent a table or a booth together. If you divide the cost for a booth through three or four, your partizipation is suddenly not prohibitive anymore. Beware of companies that offer to show your books at International Fairs, such as the one in Frankfurt. Their fees run often from well over $200 to $500 and they will claim that hundred-thousands of visitors will see your book and you might even get a foreign language contract. Truth is, your book will sit with hundreds of others in a shelf, and no one will promote it to potential publishers. Save the money! There are millions of books displayed at these fairs and the chance that a foreign publisher discovers your book is smaller than to win the lottery.

.

What to Prepare

It is never too early, but often too late, to organize such a complex venue, especially for out-of-town shows. Here are just a few ideas for your checklist:

Sign up early. Apply and pay any fees ahead of time, too.
Contact event organizers with any special requests.
Need lighting or electricity in your booth? Request it well in advance.
Choose a booth location on a high-traffic spot.
Calculate expenses, such as booth rental, electricity, travel, hotel, giveaways etc.
Make reservations for hotel, flight and rental car if necessary.
If you are the sole exhibitor, organize at least one more person to help.
Order your displays and signs, flyers & business cards for your booth well in advance.
Check out all equipment that they work properly: laptop, overhead projector, displays, cables, lamps, spotlights, charger…
Giveaways such as book marks, peppermints, stickers, pens, even totes with your books title or cover image (if you want to splurge) should be ordered well in advance.
Folding chairs, a step ladder and a cart or dolly are useful items that you will be glad you brought.

.

How to Attract Visitors

Display and let your book trailer run throughout the day. All you need is a laptop and projector and a white display for the background. It draws for sure more people to your booth.
To stay in contact with interested visitors, bring a fish bowl to collect business cards and email addresses / contact information. Offer a really attractive prize for this sweepstake and you can be sure to get lots of cards.
Offer interested visitors to sit down for a moment, have a cool drink while talking with you. Often they will be very thankful to rest their burning feet …
Have a well-lit booth to attract visitors, dress professionally and never, ever! eat at your exhibition booth.

.

Partizipating in a book fair means a lot of organizing, and it should be done well in advance, especially when the show is in another state or country.  These are just a couple of tips, check out these three sites for comprehensive checklists:

Are These YOUR Five Excuses?

.

Power-or-sleep

Power or Sleep?

.

The new year is just a month old, but what about your resolutions?  Are you sticking to them or do you have excuses why not? The less commitment you have to your resolution, the less likely you are to keep it. Are you really committed to write more – books, articles or blogs – and to establish your author platform and brand?
Believe me:  it is do-able!  This is by chance my blog number 1,000 in 30 months. Sitting every day for an hour or two and write, 7 days a week, took me a couple of weeks or months to get used to, but soon it became a daily habit to write about a variety of topics – and have fun doing it : )
.

Are These Your Excuses:

“I cannot find the time to write.”
Well, this is the truth: There’s no such thing as “finding time”. When you plan to write a book, you need to block out parts of your time to get it done. It might mean to avoid TV watching or to get up at 5am to write. Set up your writing as a priority! You have to create time focus on your project. If not, then forget about writing a book!
.

“I don’t know where to start on my book …”
Make a layout, a frame of your novel, note details. Research, research, research… Where do you start?  Sitting in your chair every day at the same time. Start writing. Keep sitting. Write more. Your brain will come to expect it. Your mind will begin to loosen up, and cooperate.

.
“I need to be inspired, in order to sit down and write.”
Truth: Inspiration often strikes while we write. So, sitting down and starting to write, or at least to make a layout, or write a short story is a great start to get into the “mood”. If you want to be a good writer, start by writing every day for at least a couple of hours

.
“I don’t have time to market my book … I don’t know how or don’t want to do Social Media …”
You can write as a hobby, no one forces you to sell your book!  And if you have lots of money, just buy advertising on TV or in magazines or hire a media publicist for thousands of dollars – even so they take on authors only, with huge amounts of followers on Social Media and lots of 5-star reviews for books.
.

“I don’t have time to learn about the publishing business”
Why not just take on writing as a hobby – and forget about publishing!
Regardless of whether or not you work with a publishing consultant to learn about the business, it is something that MUST be done to ensure your book reaches the public. To have the most success: Before you write or at least before you finish your book.
.

Starting a book (business) takes huge amounts of hard work and time, so you better enjoy doing it. Building a business is all about learning new subjects, you are eager to work on, or in hiring a bit professional help and together creating something you will be proud of.
.

Psychologist Gary Foster, gives these tips for New Year’s resolutions:

Set small goals that are realistic, achievable and clearly defined.
Set specific plans that are simple, achievable and can lead to short-term success
Aim for and celebrate small short-term successes.
Build a simple and structured plan that answers the what, when, where and how questions.
.

“Don’t let your New Year’s resolution flop (again). If you want to succeed, plan your goal in 12-week increments,” advise Brian Moran and Michael Lennington, co-authors of 12 Week Year: Get More Done in 12 Weeks Than Others Do in 12 Months.  “It is much more feasible to keep a commitment for 12 weeks than to keep it for 12 months. At the end of the 12 weeks you reassess your commitments and begin again,”
.
Another consideration:  Are you a writer first? Or are you writing for money first? If you are writing for immediate income, writing that pays quicker, then choose writing for magazines, the internet or for newspapers, copy writing, resume writing, grant writing etc. which will provide much faster income.
