An Almighty Predicament

Good day, everyone.

In 2019, I produced a short book which looks at the major philosophical arguments for and against Christianity.

The book, titled ‘An Almighty Predicament: A Discourse on the Arguments For and Against Christianity’ contains Scripture citations and insightful discussion, and is intended to provide a deep look at Christianity in a concise format.

The book should only take an hour or less to read, making it an excellent book for a busy person, or a person with a short attention span.

Few Christians would argue against the fact that it is God who grows a human being in their mother’s womb. We do not choose to grow from babies into teenagers into adults; this process is under God’s control. In a similar way, all of our actions throughout our lives are under God’s control.

From ‘An Almighty Predicament’
Chapter 5

For a limited time, the eBook edition is available for free.

Amazon Kindle | Google Play Books ] Apple Books | Tealight Books

The book is also available as a paperback and would make an excellent gift for the spiritually lost person in your life.

If you would consider mentioning this free eBook offer on social media or in a blog post I would be most grateful.

Kind regards,

Steven

A few photos…

Greetings, everyone.

We all enjoy the ease and playfulness of some personal photos, so I thought I’d share a few snaps taken last month when I was entirely needlessly admitted to hospital!

There wasn’t an awful lot to do in hospital, so I spent a fair amount of time doing selfie shoots!

With love,

SMOKE Newsletter – Issue #1 – February 2024

EDITORIAL

Where there’s smoke, there’s fire. Matter, then fire, then smoke, then nothing. This is the transition from the material to the immaterial, and smoke represents the final stage in the process. If God is pure consciousness, pure awareness, pure aliveness, pure being, pure nothingness; then smoke is the closest thing in existence to God.

I like to think – and I always hope – that I’m close to God. And there’s a fire that burns inside of me on a daily basis. My fire is the drive to change the world (and also the universe) for the better. I want to be a great person. I want to excel in all areas of my life. I want to have life in all its fullness, to echo John 10:10 in the Bible.

This newsletter is an opportunity for me to express myself. I have a wide variety of interests and talents, and considerable life experience. I want to share, to inspire, to provoke, and to inform.

I hope you will enjoy this monthly newsletter, which is exclusively for those subscribed to PerfectChaos.org. It will land in your inbox once a month. I know I will very much enjoy composing it.

NEWSLETTER #1: Smoke and Sex

The Parable of the Masturbating Man

There was a man who was conflicted over whether or not masturbation is a sin, so he took the issue to the Lord. The Lord said, “Is anyone being hurt by your actions?” He said, “I believe not, Lord.” “Then it is no sin,” replied the Lord.

The man consulted the Lord once more. “Surely, Lord, watching pornography is sinful?” The Lord replied, “Is anyone being harmed in the pornography you are watching?” The man said, “I believe they sometimes abuse one another.” God responded, “Then find some better pornography.”

Thanks be to God.

FUN FACT: Did you know that the oldest woman who ever lived, Madame Jeanne Calment, was a vociferous smoker? The French supercentenarian died at the still young age of 122.

Jeanne Calment – Wikipedia

A Limerick

There was a young lady named Rhoda
Who ran an erotic pagoda
The walls of its halls
Were festooned with the balls
And the tools of the fools who bestrode her

Sex Advice

Jesus said that in order to enter the Kingdom of God, we need to be like little children. What he meant by this is mysterious, but I have found that an excellent approach to many areas of life is to act like a child.

In terms of sex, this means living in the moment; being spontaneous. You need to leave the cares of the day behind you and enter into the zone of playfulness. You might like to use toys. You might like to speak in a silly, make-believe language. You might like to throw things at the walls. You might get angry, then sad, then excited, then relieved, in a very short space of time.

All the joys of childhood with the added bonus of sexual satisfaction!

Thanks be to God.

Interpreting a Dream

Do not be troubled by what I write, for it is a personal experience not to be compared with your own experiences.

Dreams are mysterious and wonderful.

A few months ago, shortly before I went to sleep, I was a mess of emotions. I was so confused. Who exactly is Jesus? Is Jesus God? But then what about Islam? And other religions?

My spiritual journey has been long and tortuous. I have been plagued with an identity crisis. I knew I had a significant calling in the grand scheme of things, but the pieces of the puzzle just weren’t fitting together.

In tears and anguish, I longed for reassurance.

Kneeling at my bedside, I cried out to God. “Please, Lord! You must settle this predicament for me once and for all. I can’t bear to live with such excruciating uncertainty!”

I crawled into bed and nestled myself under the comfort of my duvet. Would I experience yet another night of troubled thoughts, depression, and confusion?

I drifted into the abyss.

Several hours later, I experienced a few seconds of profundity. I witnessed a figure of immense… no, wait. Words could never capture the enormity of this. I witnessed God, the creator of all that exists, coming towards me in a kind of form. This manifestation of God was extremely powerful.

The figure approached me and put two hands on my back. That was the end of the dream.

What did it mean?

“I’ve got your back.”

God’s got my back.

My Amazing Jesus Dream

I have only shared what happened with a couple of people. It was the most profound experience of my life.

Spiritual uncertainty can be a kind of torment. It has been for me, at times. So one day I took a small leap of faith and reached out to God in a specific way that I hoped would bring me enduring peace.

I knelt down at my bedside, begging God to reveal to me once and for all who Jesus is – God? A prophet? The Son of God? A human being? Some of the above? All of the above?

I specifically petitioned God to answer my prayer for clarity that night, because I couldn’t bear the thought of waking up to another day of uncertainty.

During the night, I had an experience like no other. It lasted just a few seconds. A being so immensely powerful that words fail me came up behind me and put both hands on my shoulders.

That was it. But it was so much more than that.

What did it mean? I still wonder, at times. But deep down, I do know. It was the figure of a man, with all the power of God. It had to be Jesus.

What to make of the hands on my shoulders?

“I’ve got your back.”

God’s got my back.

I have rescinded The Book of Mercy

Due to a complete lack of interest, The Book of Mercy, my most kind and loving revelation to date, has been rescinded.

I’m sorry that you aren’t interested in my divine revelations and show me absolutely no love whatsoever.

Are there any Christians on Earth at this present time?

No!

That explains things, then.

God Commands Equal Retribution for Harm Done to Others

Are you abusing somebody in your family, in your social network, or in your workplace? You must stop doing so, immediately.

For even the slightest harm you do to others, suffering is due to return to you from God. Even a loud knock, if it is intended to cause emotional harm, will be met with justice.

Those who sin repeatedly and do not repent and mend their ways will burn in the fires of hell. It is just.

Do not harm others and God will not harm you. ‘I was doing it for work’ is not an acceptable excuse.

I am currently being abused every day, as has been the case for much if not all of my life. I am being held in confinement on a psychiatric ward yet again, despite being 100% mentally healthy.

God has confirmed to me that psychiatrists will suffer for every single medication and injection they prescribe. Nurses will suffer equal harm for every single injection they administer throughout their careers. This is fair and just – it cannot be denied.

Every doctor who has ever prescribed something without the genuine intention of doing good will suffer an equal amount for the harm they have caused. God takes note of everything in existence, the size of a speck of dust or smaller.

Brothers and sisters, I have great hope for the future. The Bible is, in a sense, a script for humanity, and while God has total freedom at all times, I believe His intention is to keep to the prophetic Word found in The Bible.

If you haven’t done so already, read The Qur’an. It is a divine revelation. Yes, there are competing truth claims in The Bible and The Qur’an, but that is an important part of the grand game of life that God is unfolding. In order to be mature spiritually, you must understand that different perspectives can make perfect sense to different people at different times.

God created the entire Universe for me personally. I am God incarnate. Therefore, after two lifetimes worth of suffering, I would be most grateful to receive even a little respect and kindness.

Thank you, Tara. Thank you, Krista. Thank you to everyone who comments in a loving way.

Steven
