MandyReads: Strangehouse does Strangehouse Part 3
Last week I recorded a short video of me reading an excerpt from Jason Wayne Allen’s story “Zombies Of East Jesus”, which can be found in Strangehouse Books “Zombie! Zombie! Brain Bang!” anthology.
Just cause I’m Canadian and French, I decided to read it in French and in English.

Happy reading (and watching)!

I am, not you… 2013 Edition.
I wrote this for my blog back in 2011, I stumbled across it on FB, reread it and decided it was time to edit, add and repost it for those who may have missed it the first time. It stemmed from an exercise a friend suggested to me, every sentence has to start with “I”.
Here’s my “I Am…”
I am Mandy andI have a past, just as we all do.
I don’t remember being born to a young woman who gave me up and a young man who didn’t know I existed. I have no memories from the day I was adopted by the DeGeit’s,...

Mandy’s Review Rating System
I’ve posted a few reviews last year and am making a point to post more this coming year. I started doing reviews for Snakebite Horror and when I handed in my first review Mark (from Snakebite Horror) asked me, “How many stars?”
I had to stop and think for a moment.
I wasn’t sure.
All I knew was that I liked the book and I wanted my friends to read it, so I was going to post a review…
I realized I had to stop and ask myself, how does one choose how many stars a certain book should get?
From that po...
Review: Necropolis Now – Zombie Ascension by Vincenzo Bilof
Vincenzo Bilof’s most recent book, Necropolis Now – Zombie Ascensionfollows well-developed characters who are each dealing with their own personal issues during a zombie infestation in Detroit. When all hell breaks loose, there are reports of rioting on the radio but no one seems to really understand what’s going on. The characters involved are quick to figure out the city is being overrun by zombies as they realize man is attacking (and eating) man out on the street.
Vega, Miles and Bob are g...
