Title Trauma by Mae Clair

As I post this, I’m knee deep in writing the second book of my Point Pleasant series. That means it’s time to start thinking about the third novel. I’ve got a general idea what that book is about—the legendary curse of Chief Cornstalk on the town of Point Pleasant. I even have my character backgrounds and a (highly) sketchy outline.

What I don’t have is a title.

I’ve always had a love/hate relationship with titles. On rare occasions, I have one before I start writing. That was the case for WE...

Cover Reveal: A Thousand Yesteryears by Mae Clair

Thanks for joining me today as I unveil the cover of my upcoming mystery/suspense novel A THOUSAND YESTERYEARS. Kensington Publishing sent me the artwork the end of October, and it’s been torture sitting on it this long. Between a trip to the Dominican Republic in November, followed by holidays and family commitments in December, I didn’t want to roll it out.

But the time has finally arrived. It’s a new year and Yesteryears, the first book in my Point Pleasant series, releases in four months....

A Personal Look Back at 2015 by Mae Clair

I normally wax poetic when the New Year rolls around, but I’m feeling too punchy for that this time. I dug into my photo files for this post (something I don’t usually do) and got a kick out of these. I hope you do, too. Don’t forget to check out the captions.

As years go, 2015 gave me some great achievements, providing a few giddy highs, but it tossed in a few low balls, too. I suppose that’s to be expected with the mix.

Of the high notes, MYTH AND MAGIC released in June, then enjoyed a brie...

Mae Clair Presents: Caribbean Christmas by Tammy Tate

My friend, Tammy Tate, is back today with her latest release, a romance set in a warm tropical location. I like the fact that CARIBBEAN CHRISTMAS has a twist of the paranormal in the mix. You can get the full scope of the story by watching Tammy’s book trailer below.

It’s that time of year…

…for Christmas cards and holiday cards. Did you know that:

Americans send 1.6 billion holiday cards annually.
Women purchase an estimated 80% of all greeting cards.
E-cards have become an environmentally friendly alternative to paper cards.
Christmas cards originated in London, where Sir Henry Cole commissioned the first in 1843.
Two batches totaling 2,050 cards were printed and sold that year for a shilling each.
Despite the separation of church and state, it’s customary for the President an...

Wanna Win Some Free Books? How about 30?

Count ‘em–not ten, not twenty, but a whopping thirty books for your reading pleasure. I’m delighted to say, my romantic mystery/suspense tale, ECLIPSE LAKE is included among them.

Guest Blogger: Staci Troilo on Love Stories and Fathers

I’m super excited about today’s guest blogger. Staci Troilo has become a good friend in a short time, and wow, does she have a great post to share today! I was excited when I saw the title. Why? Because, as a writer, all of my books place a strong emphasis on family relationships, with the vast majority involving a father-figure in one manner or another. And if that isn’t enough, Staci discusses thedifference between…well, you’ll just have to read and see for your yourself, as I don’t want to...

I positively love the cover of this book! Just look at the beautiful blending of pastel blues. Isn’t it gorgeous? Oh, and did I mention it has dragons? But, perhaps it’s best if let Daisy tell you about it. . .
