Trying to finish up grad school strong!
Haven’t posted in a long time. Trying to work on my other, less fun writing! Getting a Masters in Education is sure cramping my time to work on the sequel to The Sity, which has been tentatively entitled The Sity Afire. I am hoping to make some more progress on it this week and will post some more teasers here!

Anthony Mackie would be great as Joseph
I’m a big fan of Anthony Mackie! While he’s not a household name, he’s able to play both comedic and dramatic roles really seamlessly. Joseph is a character that really pulls on your heartstrings and is all around likeable. Despite everything he’s been through he’s one of the toughest out of the cast of characters both physically and emotionally. Mackie’s roles in “The Hurt Locker” and “Half-Nelson” prove that he can handle the dark material that comes along with “The Sity.” – Meghan
Making progress on the sequel!
Just wrote a new section to the sequel! Very excited with how it turned out. It’s been hard to find time these last few months to work on the book. So I’m glad to finally churn out some new pages.

Rajek….. has got to be actress Tilda Swinton
I don’t care how many movies she’s made or how many awards she’s won, I KNOW that Tilda Swinton is an alien. Something about her is just otherworldly. She was the first person who came to my head when casting this role. Beyond that though, I think she has a very kind voice that would be absolutely key to playing Rajek. Tilda Swinton…she sees you when you’re sleeping. The truth is out there. -Meghan
