Who should play the role of Carina? Saoirse Ronan.
So, for the final role, I chose young actress Saoirse Ronan because she has what it takes to portray a character that is both vulnerable and lionhearted at once. From “City of Ember” to “The Lovely Bones”, Ronan has the acting range she’d need to take viewers on Carina’s emotional (and physical) journey. If only I could figure out how to pronounce her first name. -Meghan
