Type: As I’ve covered, webcam stands come with flexible metal arms, straight arms that can be angled at their joints, or fully vertical poles with no adjustment along the vertical axis.
Clamp or base?: Do you want a webcam stand that sits on your desk, one that clamps to the table, or a tripod?
Size: Depending on your specific need, the flexibility and height range of a webcam stand will need to be a consideration.
Commonly, webcam stands range anywhere from 7” all the way up to 40+”, yet for most models the full range is somewhere in between.
Stability: Not all webcam stands are manufactured equally.
